“I have no idea how they have such a high score on here. I ordered timber lengths, oil and screws £430+. Delivery in 3 days is a total lie, not to South London anyway. Timber arrived one week after order, mouldy, wet, full of knots and chipped and damaged in parts. I couldn't believe my eyes. They messed me about for two weeks and eventually arranged to collect it, delayed the collection by two days and then came a day before they said they would. From the driver's surprise to see me answer the door, they were obviously betting on me not being home so that they can refuse to offer me a refund. Total scammers. If you want to roll the dice with them, be my guest.”
“Lengths of wood on a 3m x 3m deck were inconsistent. Also many large holes making boards structurally unsound. edecks blamed me and stated that I should expect to cut boards to 3m???? They also said they would refund 10% for boards that had holes large enough to put four fingers through as my builder had laid. Very unpleasant company, poor values and low integrity, very unpleasant experience.”

“Bought several bales of cedar shingle but when I opened the first bale the shingle was full of woodworm. Examined the other bales and found they were also littered with woodworm. When I reported the issue to eDecks they refunded only the unopened bales (as if it were my issue for not spotting the woodworm before opening the bale). Wasted weeks of time getting them to agree a refund and a lot of money due to exceptionally low quality product. Stay well clear”
“Dreadful experience with Edecks, DO NOT BUY FROM EDECKS. Had an order in place a month before and had paid extra for delivery on a specific day.
Called to confirm the day before as I had heard nothing and was told it was all sorted and would be arriving on an all day delivery the following day
Saturday day of delivery there was no delivery by 3.30pm and knowing Edecks closed at 4pm I called and got hold of someone who was less than helpful saying if its not there by 6 then dont worry call us on Monday. Didnt bother to call the delivery team or help any further
Monday, called to find ut what was going on only to be told to EMAIL!! my complaint to the service team.
Demanded a refund for the additional cost of the specific day delivery and found out from my phone company that I had been charged on a premium number for calling their number to get their mess sorted. so another £10!!! out of pocket.
In Summary. Ok product. not a great service,awful comunication and the worst after sales care I have experienced in a long time. DO NOT BUY FROM EDECKS.”
“So.. where to begin. £1200 order for 2 Gazebo's and HotTub Decking... Delivery came with a few days and on time with there estimate. Perfect.... But when the delivery driver drives off with the only 8 posts to support the entire job I got left stranded. So raised a support ticket within 48 hours of delivery as stated on the delivery note.
3rd day of no results, no resolution. Phoned there customer support number the free mobile friendly one: 03301002530 (So you dont have to pay there rubbish money thieving 08 number..) and twice left an answer phone message. Still no call back.”
“Cheap nasty decking. Warped already and snapping to the point my foot went through and damaged my ankle. My decking is just over a year old and they won't do a thing. Don't waste your money or breath. No customer service at all.”

Upon delivery some of the wood was damaged and the wrong screws were sent. I contacted edecks and they rectified that by sending replacement wood and new correct sized screws.
I had to download the build instructions from the Internet and print myself I had a builder come and put it together for me however the roof collapsed in twice and as per the instructions you have to build the roof first and the put it onto the frame the instructions then tell you to put the roof supports in after putting the roof up. The screws are very weak and basically we're not strong enough to support the weight of the roof hence it collapsing twice. The builder ended up building the roof frame and attaching it to the gazebo frame and then attaching the featherboards afterwards. The frame didn't match up with the roof and where the roof is supposed to sit on the legs legs and frame it had to be cut down in order to fit and the roof has so many holes in the featherboards that it let's water in. It is overall of very poor design and definitely not worth the money paid for it”
“Please don’t count on the 3 day delivery guarantee, ordered on Saturday and received an email saying I’ll definitely have my fence panels within 3 days. That has not happened. My advise is to find an alternative that can stick to their promise. Booked the weekend off to do the work and have now been let down by this company. I’ve now lost money I could have been earning at work.
After me chasing them around and not getting through to any person on the phone, I received an email saying that my goods will be delivered on Monday. That’s 9 days to deliver not the 3 that was promised.

“My first order arrived as expected but with minor damage (I should have checked more carefully). My second order was placed on a Friday so was expecting delivery by Tuesday at the latest. When I phoned to check i did not get a call back as requested but I got an email saying delivery would be Saturday! Tried calling (several times) for an explanation - no reply!”
“I am still upset :( there were 3 pieces of decking missing so when I complained you said it was my fault so you made me pay another £60 to replace them .. I’m a single mum so was at work when there arrived they are not the same size as the rest of the batch or the same quality
I’m going to have to save up to try and get a carpenter to sort it out”

“Dreadful. I live in a flat on a busy street. Without informing me, they delivered my terrace fencing by leaving it on the street and claiming that is ok due to COVID curb side delivery policy. Needless to say, someone stole the fencing. eDecks were not in the least bit sympathetic when I called and told me I would not get a refund or replacement. DO NOT USE.”
“The WORST company I haVe ever dealt with.
First of all, the items where not delivered to me they where apparently left in the middle of a street. Then when I asked for a refund as my mum had purchased me some alternative from b&q they asked me to sign a form for an investigation, a crime reference number had to be logged and given in, I had to wait for their driver to return which they agreed they could not find any sign of any decking and after all of the above happening and making me wait 6 weeks they then asked me for proof or purchase from b&q. Now not only does this have absolutely nothing to do with the fact they’ve blatantly robbed a customer but unfortunately for me, my mum passed away due to covid and I let them know that even if I did carry on this war with them that I couldn’t get a receipt and told them the reason ... they then told me that even though I had adhered to ALL of the above requests if I didn’t get a receipt I wouldn’t get back my £350.00 and that my mum would have bank statements proving I got alternative from another supplier. After arguing my case by pointing out how disgusted I was with their lack of empathy they then asked me for a picture of my garden to see if I had any decking at all layed out to prove I wasn’t lying about getting more decking from b&q.
After this they then sent me another email and said they refuse to give me my refund without the receipt from b&q but they would either give me a gesture of £50 or return the items like I was supposed to receive in the first place.
I genuinely can not believe this issue I’ve had and I’m still dealing with and it’s been passed on to a solicitor and they are being sued for breaching consumer rights.
So be aware that it is a strong possibility that they will mess up a couple months of your lives regardless of any loved ones dying.”
“Awful. Don’t waste your money and time with decks.
I was sent too few planks and screws, planks that were unusable they were so warped and split. When I asked for help they won’t pick up phone and then I spent over week trying to resolve eventually being sent replacement boards that were a different size! The worst customer service experience I can remember.”
“Due to how the shiplap was packed 3 of the lengths had almost all of the Tongue and groove parts broken (during transit I assume) meaning they were of very little use.
Next time I’ll go and collect the wood myself from a shop to be sure it’s all good.”
