I had to use a file to knock off a slight burr on the 1" hole before it would fit on the saw arbor. Yes, I removed the reducer ring first.

The adapters seem to be a higher quality than the ones they replaced.

Core diamond bit did an acceptable job on specifically Magnesia bricks, but holes were not very clean, some chipping ocurr when core bit was going into brick and much more going out brick. Core bits vibrates a little bit.

For the money, it was the best choice for my particular job. It drilled a very smooth 4-1/2” hole through a cinder block wall. As we were about to punch through, the core bit seized! The shank on the arbor broke. This saved my drill and probably my arm from being broken, so kudos for design. The core bit itself is light weight, but it isn’t welded at the top. It seems to be press fitted. It did work, but how??? Anyway, it drilled a nice hole. Think safety.

The diamond pads for oscillating grinders hold up well for me. I shape glass and they last a long time. My only complaint is that they do not stick well to the grinder. I have a Bosch grinder, so it is a standard pad interface. I constantly have to reattach this pads.

I had to drill a 1 1/2 inch dia hole in my 1 inch thick granite kitchen counter-top for my instahot hot-water dispenser. The hole-saw worked well until the last little bit; the cutting edge of the bit broke about 1 inch around the rim but I continued and was able to drill through. Dave

The core drill (and drill adapter for it) worked fine for cutting the 5" hole in a concrete storm sewer that I needed it to cut.
