There were 5 of us that stayed here, i can't really fault it, it's a 5 minute walk to town loads of bars and food places nearby, a great location for a short weekend break!!!

Loved the apartment. So close to the centre of Edinburgh & a beautiful location next to Holyrood Park.

While overall the apartment was a very good one, it was unfortunately let down by one or two small things. There was no a sufficient supply of toilet paper and I do not expect to have to go out and buy that commodity when I have rented good class accommodation. Equally there were no oven gloves or hand towel for the kitchen which made things less user friendly. In addition to the lift being hors de combat on arrival and so unwise to use the whole week the dimmer switch in the lounge/dining area was broken. The visitor guide referred to a map which was not supplied and so these comments were of no practical use. Small things maybe but they do take the gilt off the gingerbread.

This flat is extremely comfortable, modern decor with lots of character. It is ideally located near Grassmarket, a 10 minute walk from the castle and 15 minutes walk to Princes Street.I spent 12 nights in the apartment which felt like a home from home.

Positive - Ideal location, cleanliness, price Negative - stairs to the fifth floor, no lift We had an excellent time there staying. Landlord is quite nice, he provided us even a baby chair on request. Taking luggage to the top floor is a bit difficult though

I stayed with five of my students in the High Street flat for amazing 6 days. We enjoyed being in the heart of Edinburgh. Everything we needed was only few steps away - all the history of Edinburgh but also the train station and bus stops. The flat is perfectly equipped. We felt absolutely comfortable.

A fantastic, compact apartment in a central location. The 90ish stairs up to this attic apartment were a bit daunting but a good way of working off all the wonderful food we ate! There are great views over greyfriars and the Old Town. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was perfect for relaxing after a day's wanderings.

A short walk across the meadows will get you to the royal mile, stop off at the doctors for a pint, then down the mound to the city gardens. Perfect for the festival, and calm after. Local "village" shops just at the end of the street, Scotmid, fish and chips, pub, etc.

A delightfully well appointed flat in a nice quiet area of the city, overlooking a park. It had all of the amenities that you could wish for, including a microwave oven and washing machine, within a nice drying room. The flat was spacious and well lit, even though it it is mostly underground. The garden to the rear is large and shared with your hosts, so there is some evidence of the youngsters who live there, in the form of bikes and water pistols, but no noise from them at all. The flat was very clean and nicely laid out. Everything in it worked as it should do, which isn't always the case. The kitchen is small, yet very functional; you can prepare decent meals there, but if you intend to rival Gordon Ramsey, then think again. Sofa bed worked fine and was comfortable, unlike others. Reasonably priced and operated by delightful hosts, who were most accomodating in terms of our extremely late arrival as a result of the illness of our son, delaying us. Parking is on street; there is a degree of competition for spaces outside of the flat, but not so that you can't park within 75 yards. Highly recommended

We stayed in the High Street flat for 5 days and we loved every minute of it! The flat itself was the absolute perfect location, right on the pedestrian only area of the Royal Mile and it was beautifully decorated and furnished with every thing we needed. The views from the flat were wonderful! Edinburgh was a gorgeous city, and what made this trip the most special was my and my fiancee's engagement on the top of Arthur's Seat! We will never forget our trip here!

We had an brilliant 4 days in Edinburgh. The Sainsburys local on the corner had all you needed. The position of the flat made it so easy to do all of our sight seeing on foot. I would not hesitate to return for another visit.

The location of the apartment is very convenient- central, and at least one bedroom is pretty quiet. In the other bedroom you hear some traffic noise and when they collect the rubbish in the morning, what happens pretty often. The sofa in the living room is great, with nice adjustable backs. Like stated in the description, the apartment is "Recently refurbished." Unfortunately there is not too much space to put your stuff in the bedroom, but as we were just with two people this was not a problem. A little bit unpleasant was the smell of new paint in some of the rooms. As we are not from Scotland, the payment formality was a little bit complicated. But all in all we can really recommend this nice and clean apartment.

A cosy, functional apartment, with 2 bedrooms, shower, bath and kitchen/lounge. Comfy beds, lots of room, and not far from the centre of Edinburgh (10-15min walk), and just minutes from Edinburgh Waverley station. Highly recommended.

The flat was very clean and you have all the things you can need for a short time o for a longer stay. We felt like in our own home. You have near a supermarket and a bus stop, and the area is quite quiet.
