“Arrived at the apartment on Friday. The apartment was very easy to find.
Met by Stuart (The tennant, who made us feel very welcome.
The apartment itself, was bright, modern,and spacious. We were a family of 4, with our youngest in a travel cot (Provided by Stuart) We had more than enough space. The view across the water to Leith was brilliant.
The apartment is walking distance from the many bars and restaurants in Leith. But the other side of the water, and noise was not an issue.
Shopping on the door step, with Ocean Terminal. Waterworld just up the road, which the kids loved!
I would highly recommend the apartment, and we will certain be using it again.”
“Apartment is set in an old school building which has some original features, a parking space which is great. It is in dean village which is only 5 mins walk from princes street. But it is so quiet and peaceful you felt like your in the countryside. Its right next to the river. With great walks and views.
The apartment is a great size, with a large kitchen/diner and a good size lounge. The bathrooms are a good size and the showers are lovley and powerful. Two of the bedrooms are a great size with a good amount of storage. The third bedroom is smaller we had asked for it as a double, it is better suited as a twin, it has storage just outside the room. We were told at booking that this was a small room, but it was fine and was more than adequate. The apartment has almost everything that you could need including washing machine and dishwasher. There was also board games, DVDs an an I pod dock in the lounge.
We have never rented apartements before as always stayed in hotels, we would be very reluctant to go back to hotels now.”
“We received a warm welcome and enjoyed our stay. The flat was clean and comfortable. The road was quiet but there was one set of noisy neighbours who diturbed us several nights running ie. at 4am! This was not a fault of the flat and perhaps it is not usual.(?) They were shouting and arguing in the stair well and this echoed all over the building. The flat itself though was very nice.”
“My husband and I stayed at this apartment recently for a week. We had lived in Edinburgh for 10 years previously and chose this flat because of it's incredibly central location. All main Edinburgh attractions are very close by. The apartment is modern, clean and well equipped and would be a perfect base for anyone looking for a short break in central Edinburgh. “This apartment is in a great location and easy walking distance into the centre of Edinburgh. It is spotless inside and very homely. The road noise in the front bedroom is a bit loud early evening but dies down and the shutters drown it out. I would recommend this as a good place to stay with bars and restaurants in easy walking and commutable distance.”
“For the price paid it was OK. The apartment was not in great decorative order and didn't seem to be particularly clean - very dusty in corners/behind doors. However it is well located for town and the secure parking was great. There was no grill pan. Some information about the local area - takeaway menus etc would have been a bonus.”

When you leave you are in the historic Grassmarket area which oozes history and just with just a short walk to the castle it is an ideal location. “I stayed with my boyfriend, our 8-month-old son and my parents for 4 nights.
First; third floor is not recommended when carrying a baby and all its supplies, but we knew of the stairs when we booked the flat.
The flat was all right, a bit small (especially the bedroom with the double bed), but you get what you pay for, and I think it was good value for the money. Toilet room was extremely small, and although the flat looked clean, it was really dirty under the sofas and the fridge. You notice these things when you have a lille one crawling about. Neighbors were noisy at nighttime several nights.
We had some trouble getting the heater on; I think the heat should be on when guests arrive and the weather is bad.
The flat was, as mentioned, all i all a good deal. I would reccomend this flat to other people visiting Edinburgh, but perhaps not with children.
Very practical kitchen with all you need, even a washing machine.
Perfect location, supermarketd, restaurants and pubs just outside the door. A nice walk to the castle, and a Farmer´s market two minutes away every Saturday!”
“teh apartment is very well located for the city centre.just 15 minute walk qnd you are in the centre of Edinburgh and all of the sites.
the apartment is comfortably furnished. the layout of the apartment is good. whilst the apartment is on the ground floor there is no noise from the properties above or adjacent.
we were in edinburgh for the marathon and it was great to be able to relax at the apartment after the race.
we would definitely recommend the apartment for anyone travelling to the city and wanting to get away from the constraints of a stay in a hotel.
we are already looking forward to our next trip to Edinburgh.”

“Our recent stay in this 2 bedroom apartment in Bruntsfield was excellent. The accommodation was spacious, light and airy and proved a most welcome refuge for us all, especially, our two children (10 month and two half years) at the end of busy days sight-seeing around the city.
Great location with lots to see and do - would definitely recommend.”
