“The Hunter Apartment was just what we were looking for - we were travelling with our toddler so ideally wanted a separate room for her - more difficult and costly to organise in a hotel. The apartment is well equipped, nicely furnished and in a great location. The parking was an excellent bonus and we appreciated the welcome pack from the owner. We have already recommended it to friends and would look to revisit next time we are in Edinburgh.”
“My family and i booked this apartment for a wedding which was happening in Edinburgh, i didn't know much about the area but i was very luckey, this apartment was comfortable in an incredible location and had a view of the castle!!! I will definitely be returning!!”
“This is the second time we have stayed here, the location is perfect – minutes walk to a large number of pubs and restaurants, with princess street an easy stroll away. The accommodation is warm and comfortable – we slept better here than at home!
We will defiantly be back to use the flat again.”
“We had a terrific stay. Only problem was that we were not given contact details in time when we left Australia and had to rush around on arrival to find an internet cafe to find your contact details to get to the apartment. In making arrangements you could ask for people's travel details so your contact information is provided earlier
thanks”
“The flat was in an excellent, central location. The flat was quite basic - the kitchen and shower room are tiny, but totally manageable. The bed was comfy and the bedroom was decorated in a fun and slightly quirky way. It was lovely and clean, and despite it's central location, quiet.
I did feel a bit vulnerable when going in the front door as it is off the street, round the back of the building, but this is my only reservation.”
“Flat was lovely and had everything we needed. It was in a central location but you had to walk up a very long hill to get to the centre. Shower at the flat wasn't very powerful and once we had booked to stay at the flat we could not find any photos or information about the flat on the Internet but luckily when we got there we liked the flat. The landlady was also very nice and helpful.”
“The flat is well located and everything is near. But apart from that, the flat is full of details. A welcome card, books and DVDs to entertain my daughter, every thing what we have needed for cooking, information and maps of the city ... and very clean. Very comfortable our stay.”
“we do have a good time in this apartment.the location is excellent, only 15 mins walk to the omni centre. everything is fantastic except that gas and eletricity once being cut a while for no reasons.”
“Perfect sized flat in a great location. Needs a bit of work, but if you're looking for a good basic flat with all the comforts of home, then this place is perfect. The renters were very friendly and helpful as well.”
“A fabulous stay. The flat was warm, cosy and very well equipped. Everything you need. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and the owner was very helpful. Would definitely sat again if we were in the area.”
“A very well equipped apartment, nicely decorated, clean and tidy, good service. A very nice place to return to after exploring Scotland and Edinburgh during the day. We´d like to use it again next time we´re in Edinburgh if it´s available.
One drawback - only one window could be open - the rest was locked which made it hard to refresh the air when neccesary.”
“Great location to stay in Edinburgh with majority of visitor attractions within walking distance, comfortable accommodation, but take your ear plugs if you don't want to hear the buzz of Edinburgh weekend night life!”
“ottimo soggiorno, vicino al centro" raccomandabile". consiglabile
(unico problemino: lavandino bagno non funzionanva l'acqua fredda )
---una domanda, per il periodo agosto "2012" una settimana (per festival) quanto può costare l'affitto?
grazie ancora”
“Have stayed at this flat twice now and would do so again. Nice tidy, clean flat just a shame about the size of the loo - it's no bigger than a cupboard!
The access is a pain at first - up 3 flights of stairs (spiral- sort of) 60 steps in total, I know I counted them :), but trust me you do get used to them!!
No problems with the neighbours - never saw any of them, just heard the guy opposite when he cleared a massive pile of rubbish (old carpets and furniture)from outside his front door......”
“The flat has enough space, is well located and has every thing you would need.
There is not much daylight during the day, because it is located at the basement.
However you won’t spend the day at home, aren’t you!
Shuttle bus to airport and grocery store 2 min by foot away.”
“I've had an extended stay here and I have found the flat very comfortable and in a great location. The local restaurants and bars offer good variety and excellent service. Stockbridge is well served with a number of bus routes close by although proximity to the city is close enough that I've often walked.
Thanks Sally and Graeme for a great stay!”
“the flat is perfect, the location also. I can recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Edinburgh and who wants to be right in the center while being very close to public transport.
The only thing that bothered us is that you have to pay one part to edinburgh flats and the damage deposit to the owner of the appartment. This works confusing and it is not practical as we experienced when we had to get a refund of the damage deposit”
