“I loved this quirky little flat and its location, very quiet and beautifully appointed. So near to many wonderful places to eat. Loved Bibi's Bakehouse. The owners were delightful and had got me the Edinburgh property paper as they knew I was looking for a new home in the city which I purused while drinking the wine they left.”
“This clean, modern apartment is conveniently located and very comfortable. Kitchen was sparcely equipped, but the owner was very responsive and provided additional pots and utensils. Would certainly recommend.”
“The location couldn't be any better. The owner was wonderfully accommodating with my requests. I was initially a little nervous about the Rose Street location (noise), but it wasn't a problem, even on a Saturday night.”
“photograph of dining room should be up dated. very clean & comfortable apt. location excellent but a hard climb up the 64 steps so would need to be fit!!! great pub next door called "the halfway" so a great stop for a night cap before the dreaded climb. would probably stay there again due to its location”
“The flat was in an excellent location just 10mins walk from Prince's street but in a very quiet and picturesque rediential area. The many steps kept us fit, but the lovely views more than made up for it! Very good stay, the only (very small) criticism was that there was no hairdryer in the flat so ladies remember to pack one!!!”
“We enjoyed our stay very much. The flat was very central and comfortable, the beds very good. From the flat we could walk to many interesting places in Edinburgh, even with young children. I will recommend the flat without hesitation.”
“very central, cosy, everything´s in there you need, very practical.... new supermarket around the corner. very nice landlady cares about every problem quickly! only sometimes a bit loud in the morning with deliveries. but we loved it!!”
“Perfect apartment and lovely owners- everything we needed as well as being full of character. Great location- just a short walk from the city centre. Very clean and well presented all round. Only downsides were not being able to run both showers at the same time, and the fact that the wireless internet signal in the building did not reach our apartment. Also we could hear almost every footstep and more from upstairs which stopped us from sleeping a couple of nights. This didn't spoil our stay overall however and would recommend this apartment and may even use again!”
“A nice flat, quiet, clean and well furbished. It is in minutes walking distance from the city centre and at the same allowing excellent acces to Stockbridge area.
I recomend this flat and If in Edinburgh It would be among my first choices for accomodation.”
“This is a nice flat that was good for getting to the Royal Mile, Holyrood and Arthurs Seat. The flat is a good size, well maintained and very clean. It has a great shower in the ensuite and a nice open plan living/kitchen area.
The down side is that it is very difficult to sit at the breakfast bar and eat a meal. We also had noisy neighbours which may not be a problem if you are staying in Edinburgh for the night life but we were with our toddler daughter and we were woken at 4am up due to the noise from above.”
“Great flat, with excellent facilities and a wonderful location. Ideally situated to shops, convenience stores and main tourist attractions. Had a fantastic stay with plenty of room for a family of four.”
“Compact but very adequate for 2 people. Comfortably furnished, well equipped, clean & tidy. Convenient location for Leith, and 30 minute walk to Edinburgh city, and plenty of buses nearby.”
“this flat is above a pizza hut takeout, which was abit off putting when we first arrived.Once inside the flat it became clear that the owner has dogs, and they do live here and let the flat while they are not in edinburgh. The flat is well equipt with everything you need, clean beds and towels etc.stocksbridge is a lively place ,with great shops and pubs.A great place to stay just as long as you dont have any alergies to dogs.It does say not suitable for dogs ,which gives the impression that dogs are not allowed.”
“Very central. Warm welcome. Apartment was decorated very well and had all amenities we needed. Masterbedroom was noisy at nigt though! Seal windows or something. Overall nice. Thx”
“Me and my sister stayed on this flat for 6 nights. It is very central, private and a really good price. Has everything you need !! Also i had very good reception on my arrival. The stairs even bother me... was a good exercise. Thanks .”
“We enjoyed our stay very much. The flat is nicely furnished and well positioned for restaurants, shops, buses and the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Parking is no problem. There are two repairs mentioned by previous occupants that do need fixing: the main oven overheats immediately and is unusable, it will incinerate anything very quickly and set off the smoke alarm. The faulty light fitting in the dining/siting room tripped the whole lighting circuit on one occasion - trip switch in cupboard but not easily found in the dark!”
“Comfortable flat in a pleasant area.We were made welcome by the owner. Had everything we needed(except a microwave),and was clean and well kept.
Although it is a few miles from the city centre this did not cause us any issues as there is a good bus service just up the road. Local shops were, however, a bit of a walk away.”
“Hey! A group of us recently stayed in this 3 bed apartment on Rose St & it was a very comfortable. The place had everything we needed & was in a perfect location with castle views!!
The only drawback was that the shower in the main bathroom had 2 temperatures - boiling & freezing & this couldn't be controlled. Apart from that, we all enjoyed our stay, the washing machine, ipod dock & iconic creaking timber floor boards.
Would surely stay again!
Thanks”
