“We stayed during the Fringe Festival and we couldn't have had a better location literally only 5 mins from 2 of the main venues and 10 mins from another, and from Waverley. Very comfortable flat, everything you need, some very welcome essentials in place on arrival. Lots of good resturants locally Also a good view of the fireworks from the castle from the top floor window! Brilliant! would definatley stay again.”
“The flat was very clean, fully equipped as stated. The location was in a peaceful environment.
We had easy access to the bus stop which was around a corner, local shops & fuel station which wasn't too far either.
I would surely recommend this flat.”
“This is a wonderful apartment with excellent facilities. It was great to leave the hectic pace in Edinburgh and go back to the peace of Tait Wynd.
Thoroughly recommend it.”
“This is a smart flat in a small development close to a supermarket and the fantastic Holyrood Park. It was clean and comfortable. WiFi was a bit flakey and there was some noise from people walking in the flat above but overall quiet, well placed for the centre and recommended.”
“This is a very nice centrally located flat close to shops and restaurants and with excellent public transport links into Princes Street. The flat was clean and comfortable and had everything we wanted. Would certainly recommend it and stay there again.”
“Magnificent location! We had a brilliant time and the flat was just the right size for us. Everything you need is there and in ship shape. We didn't need to worry about anything. Thank you very much!”
“This was an excellent choice for us. It is 10 minutes walk from Waverley Station but completely quiet at night. Having a whole flat at our disposal was a much better arrangement for a couple travelling with a teenager than 2 hotel rooms would have been, and cheaper too. The flat is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay and I would happily recommend it to friends visiting Edinburgh.
My only criticism is of the rental firm. It took a couple of phone calls before I was able to pay for the rental, and it would have been much easier all round if I could have paid online when I made the booking.”
“What a great place to stay, very central location but still nice and quiet inside. We liked the quirky nature of the flat, all the facilities were excellent and we found everything was nice and clean.
We had a group of 4 adults which we feel was perfect for the size of the flat.
Car parking was a bit on the tight side, but still much better than having to park on the street.
We would have no hesitation in staying here again and we will be recommending it to family and friends,”
“Clean, comfortable flat with flexible range of sleeping accomodation and facilities for short or longer stays. Situated in a quiet street but clos eto the heart of the city with the new town, old town and all the central tourst attractions within an easy walk. Recommended.”
“This was a very comfortable and well-appointed apartment in a great location. It had everything we needed and was spacious enough to accommodate a family of four. We would definitely stay here again.”
“I spent my weekend with my family and friends here. The house is absolutely great with a lovely garden, included all the necessary stuffs (clean and new) you need for your time away from home, we did feel like we were just at our home, however, we had a very warm welcome from the lady names Clare. We just want to say thank you so much and it's our pleased to have a nice experience in Edinburgh with your apartment.”
“3 Bedroom flat on top and attic floors of quiet tenement. Located close to Royal Mile and Udderbelly/University for Festival. Shower room close to master bedroom, bathroom on attic level next to double and single rooms. Spacious lounge and dining area. Equipped with washing machine, plenty towels, bedding included. Restaurants on your doorstep, 10 mins stroll to New Town.”
“This tastefully decorated flat is bright and airy. We appreciatd the warm, informative welcome from Irene. Morningside itself is a lively area to explore ,with frequent bus links to town.We hope to return and do it all again.Thank you for helping us have such an enjoyable holiday.”
“Stayed here for 3 nights in September, reallly easy to find, excellent location, able to walk to Princess Street or George Street in 10-15 mins. Lovely large rooms, the bathroom was bigger then my kitchen at home:-). Everything we needed for our break in Edinburgh, we did walk into the centre on almost all occasions apart from on tthe Saturday night when i was wearing heels and wasnt sure which way to go to get to George Street, this only cost £5, and when we couldnt get a taxi when it was time to get home we walked home and found again it was only a 15 minute walk again, all downhill too. Would definitely stay here again, excellent value for money, lovely location, really nice chap who met us and showed us around, oh and a lovely little basket with shortbread, croissants, marmalade, milk and OJ. Only one negative is that due to the windows being single glazed, presumably because of the amazing surroundings and age of the buildings, there was quite a lot of road noise when sat in the room, making it hard to hear the TV without turning up too loud which we didnt want to do, having said that we spent most of our time out and about and it didnt detract from our stay one bit and we would happily recommend to apartements to anyone.

“I liked the house and its location and would happily stay there again. The house is modern, in a quiet cul de sac with views across the city. It has just the right level of simple and functional fixtures & fittings and is easy to keep clean and tidy. Beds were comfy and the water was hot, good information on arrival. There is a Small yard at the back overlooking the former site of the quarry that supplied the stone of the houses that make up the new town (now a a Sainsbury's). The location could appear remote to some but is not and is only a few minutes walk in three directions from busy Edinburgh bus routes that give fast access to the city centre. As a cyclist, a major plus for me was its proximity to an entry point to the network of off road cycle tracks on former railways in the city: there is direct mainly off road access to routes to much of the city and easy access to routes beyond the city. The Forth bridges are about 40 mins away, Crammond about 10 mins,Leith about 15mins and Haymarket railway station about 10 mins. Only bad point, no box for recyclables.”
“I liaised with the owner of this flat on behalf of my parents who were coming to Scotland for my wedding and staying for 2 weeks. All contact with the owner both through the website and personal email was professional and efficient! The flat was clean and spacious and my parents absolutely loved it - what great find!! I would highly recommend it.”
“We stayed 3 nights in this sweet, neat, cosy flat and enjoyed the time very much! Kirsten was truely welcoming and always there for any question. Everything we needed (especially the best fish and chips in town..) and the city center are in walking distance, so for us it was the perfect place to stay. We´ll definitively come back!”
“The flat is in a brilliant location, being close to the shops, lots of restaurants and bars, and most of the big tourist attractions.
The views from the kitchen and downstairs bedroom across Edinburgh are stunning. The flat is very tastfully decorated and has a real homey feel that is very welcoming.
I would definitely recommend this flat to friends and family.”
