A very well equipped and comfortable Flat. Ideally situated for access to central Edinburgh. 2 mins walk to a very efficient bus service and local Tesco Express. Thoroughly recommend this flat.

Compact but very adequate for 2 people. Comfortably furnished, well equipped, clean & tidy. Convenient location for Leith, and 30 minute walk to Edinburgh city, and plenty of buses nearby.

I stayed in this flat for 3 nights.Firstly the owners were very flexible about check in and out times. The flat was spotless and very welcoming, the fresh flowers were a lovely touch, Thankyou. Although only 15 minutes walk from the city centre and right in the heart of Stockbridge, the flat was very quiet, so a great nights sleep.A very comfortable bed. A very well equipped apartment. I would definately reccomend this place and would love to stay there again

Loved the flat, even though the hall way could do with a spruce up and the decor was unique! It was very clean on arrival. The Kitchen & Bathroom facilities were excellent. Parking was a bit expensive, but that's Edinburgh, no fault of the Location. The flat was warm, clean and exactly what we wanted. We will hopefully be back again.

this flat is above a pizza hut takeout, which was abit off putting when we first arrived.Once inside the flat it became clear that the owner has dogs, and they do live here and let the flat while they are not in edinburgh. The flat is well equipt with everything you need, clean beds and towels etc.stocksbridge is a lively place ,with great shops and pubs.A great place to stay just as long as you dont have any alergies to dogs.It does say not suitable for dogs ,which gives the impression that dogs are not allowed.

We spent a long weekend in the apartment. Lovely flat, everything clean and pretty. Beautiful view over northern part of the city. Very pretty neighbourhoud (have a look at Ann street and Dean gardens just around the corner). Central location, all the important sites (castle, musea, shops) within walking distance.

Rose and Colin were great hosts - setting up the place with everything you would possibly need. Loved all the windows and natural light (and the mini-balcony). Very-well maintained. It's a great apartment in an excellent location.

Excellent central location and well equipped. Lots of local eating places near and shopping at John Lewis. I loved the fact that toiletries were supplied and basic kitchen supplies.

I have never rented in Edinburgh before, but found the whole procedure of renting this flat simple and efficient. The flat itself is in a quiet culdisac off morningside, which makes for an ideal go between. It also took me 25 minutes to get to from the airport, door to door: so ideal for a jet in and out. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The flat is nicely furnished and well positioned for restaurants, shops, buses and the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Parking is no problem. There are two repairs mentioned by previous occupants that do need fixing: the main oven overheats immediately and is unusable, it will incinerate anything very quickly and set off the smoke alarm. The faulty light fitting in the dining/siting room tripped the whole lighting circuit on one occasion - trip switch in cupboard but not easily found in the dark!

We stayed at this accommodation for a week in November. The location is excellent as it is very central but also not noisy at night time. The apartment is tastefully furnished and extremely well equipped. There were many extras, including a lovely welcome pack, an adaptor for guests from overseas, information about the city and even umbrellas which we did not have to use. We wanted a place that would feel homely and comfortable so that we could relax and eat in some nights if we wanted to, and this accommodation met our expectations in every way. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to others and hopefully will have a chance to return some day. An excellent choice for a stay in Edinburgh.

We had a fantastic stay in the Hunter Apartment. It was very warm and comfortable, well equipped and nicely furnished. Brian was very informative and made us feel welcome and the delicious welcome pack was a nice addition and meant we didn't have to search out supplies. The apartment is very well located for central Edinburgh and the number 36 goes from right outside if you don't want to walk, Waitrose is just around the corner. We had a brilliant stay and the people of Edinburgh were warm and welcoming, we will definitely be back.

Comfortable flat in a pleasant area.We were made welcome by the owner. Had everything we needed(except a microwave),and was clean and well kept. Although it is a few miles from the city centre this did not cause us any issues as there is a good bus service just up the road. Local shops were, however, a bit of a walk away.

I'd definitely try to book this apartment again the next time I'm in Edinburgh. The location is the definition of prime location, the living room overlooks Grassmarket and the view of brick buildings from the bedroom window was definitely quaint. The mattress was superb, the interior design - I couldn't fault. And the space! The only negative is something that didn't affect me but could well affect others: It's not accessible for everyone because you have to climb a very narrow, steep, circular staircase. I probably wouldn't book here if I'm with my 70-year-old parents. But overall... yeah, this is the best apartment I've ever booked for a holiday.

The Hunter Apartment was just what we were looking for - we were travelling with our toddler so ideally wanted a separate room for her - more difficult and costly to organise in a hotel. The apartment is well equipped, nicely furnished and in a great location. The parking was an excellent bonus and we appreciated the welcome pack from the owner. We have already recommended it to friends and would look to revisit next time we are in Edinburgh.
