"Sign contract on 8 of March. They say will do installation in maximum 2 weeks. Today 1 month engineers didn\u2019t came. Appointment was 2 of April- didint came. Second appointment was today, from 9am -1.30pm- nobody came. Still promising. Looks like scam , took bank details and nothing going on"

"Extremely disappointed and I don\u2019t even want to give one star. Was using Vodafone and the connectivity as well as service is good.. Rather service is excellent. But unfortunately it\u2019s not supporting my office VPN and I\u2019m working from home. So visited the eir store and got a new connection last evening. Came home to see there is no coverage. Reached out to customer care and they said they are experiencing a data issue. Today morning it showed one bar but not even WhatsApp was working let alone hotspot. Reached out to customer care and they again said a data issue which will continue for another couple of days. (I have a screenshot of this chat) I cannot work without internet and cannot continue like this for another couple of days so I visited the store. The man at the store said he didn\u2019t see me yesterday buying this connection when he just had to check the system which I believe will show the record. He said my story isn\u2019t adding up and now I\u2019m looking like a thief in front of another customer. I felt very embarrassed. The customer care person said they cannot refund because it\u2019s a prepaid connection and to visit the store but they not only not refund my money but I was extremely embarrassed. However, finally they said since ours is a new apartment and houses with thick walls might have this issue. I hope it was communicated prior to purchase. I ended up losing 20\u20ac for a sim card I bought less than 24hrs ago which never worked. However, It showed full coverage in the store. Im working from home so I\u2019m home at least 90% of the time so if there is no coverage inside my home, what\u2019s the use. Who wants to go to the road every time they need to make a call or send a message on WhatsApp.\r\n\r\nSo it\u2019s terrible coverage and terrible service. DO NOT RECOMMEND EIR TO ANYONE."

"Hi I was reluctant to change with notice required from Virgin and hassle etc.\r\n\r\nFrom the Eir sales to the installation it all went 100% on date and time.\r\nIt was an awkward installation 50M in old blocked ducting etc for the new Fibre cable . I wanted the Router in the centre of house as I had existing data cables to plug in etc .\r\nSean Keenan the engineer explained everything and the Router setup etc he had it all completed in a few hours.\r\nSet it up and tested.\r\nNothing was a problem \ud83d\udc4d Thanks Sean great job.\r\nIt\u2019s working on Mobiles ,TV\u2019s ,heating ,work PC etc.\r\nI hope existing phone numbers will be transferred soon .\r\nBroadband costs have increased a lot I opted for 24 months \u20ac39.99 a month including phone of peak calls.\r\nI hope Eir keep 24 month disconnected contract to avoid having to change providers.\r\nI am looking at the \u20ac9.99 sim only plan no limits.\r\nI would recommend changing should have changed last year.\r\n\r\nRay"
