I just signed up with Eir today. After giving my notice to virgin to close my account l now find out Eir sales team did not give me the proper information. Eir have contacters who installed the work, but l have to wait for Eir to send out the TV box, remote control for me to connect. So frustrating l was also told the TV would be up and running today and l had to take day off work for this. Now l have Internet but no TV contacted. Three phone call to them today with out much success. If this is not sorted by Friday,their equipment is going back I am writing this to make people aware of the misleading information that been given out. They need to retain their staff and have up to-date information on hand for the sale department dealing with the customers on the phone. Be careful and keep copies of your contract when signing with any new company Takecare all

Was consistently told I had to have a direct debit and had to make numerous call re same to ensure funds were there to meet payment

The local broadband speed is very poor, no idea when the fibre will be out in my area.

When eir advised recently that their modems had been hacked, my landline coincidentally broke down at the same time as I was trying to reset the modem. I was without service for at least three weeks. When a technician finally came, he did not leave the phone system (orginally installed by eircom) working at it did before he repaired the fault. I have failed to get a response from anyone within eir to get the technician to return to fix it so that it worked as it did before the modem / line breakdown

I have had several episodes of no service in the short time I've been with Eir, and find it extremely difficult to contact support when this happens at weekend

On receiving a new smart phone i called into Eir store on Patrick st Cork and asked the female assistant to please transfer the sim card to which she replied "we dont do that".later i visited Harvey Norman Kinsale rd and met a very obliging female assistant who was more than willing to help me and when i offered to pay for the service there was no charge.no marks for Eir.???

Eir user interface is too difficult to navigate. It's a pain. Also your pricing structure seems unclear compared to what was sold on the door step. We gave not made savings.

I was offered a new modem which I was told was an upgrade. I have had a number of problems since. Message was "problem with wireless adapter or access point. Whilst the problem is not happening as frequently since I spoke to your staff member it still persists. This is not acceptable.

I have signed up for a 45 euro payment for broadband yet my bill has been 73 euro with no correspondence from eircom as to why this is so high I have no access to the internet in the bedrooms as the service is so bad yet people in our area say fiberoptic is on our street and I would clearly love to change to another server but I am tied into a 18 month contract which is like a prison sentence I have sent an email asking them to explain why my bill is over the 45 I agreed when signing up but of course no reply!!!

The whole thing was botched with the result that I was threatened with disconnection for non_payment when as far as I can make out my account is in credit

repeatedly informed at least 6 times over the phone that I would no longer be charged for rent of phone as I have paid in full for it . I have deduct that amount from my most recent bill. I was also told that I would pay no more than 47 euro pm on my new package this also did not happen.

I base my experience of Eir on the service that I have had with Eir over the last 18 months. On several occasions I have communicated this to Eir.

EIR VISION KEEPS ON FREEZING, THE AIR PLUGS WERE REPLACED BUT I STILL HAVE A PROBLEM. THE MULTI BOXES ARE A DISASTER, FROM THE DAY THE SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED BACK IN THE BEGINING OF MAY 2016 I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS. NOT A HAPPY CUSTEMER.
