“More of a health and safety issue than a poor product.Bought a ElectriQ 12L de humidifier. We were quite happy with it did the job in our small terraced house.Until one evening after emptying the unit to return it downstairs the handle completely snapped off causing it to fall down our stairs and smash into the wall at the foot of our stairs.14kgs of appliance falling like could be very dangerous. Please be aware of this danger..we were told its out of warranty and basically our own fault. Was offered on 3 occasions a new handle!!But would I really want to plug the busted appliance back into the mains? No thank you..repeat be aware of this flimsy handle issue.”
“Absolutely rubbish like everyone else is saying. Bought a fridge which is only 2 years old. 1 month out of warranty. Has Brocken down, can not get spare parts. They don’t hold any spares parts for it. But because it’s a MONTH out of warranty they sad bad luck, nothing we can do. So will be going to the rubbish pile. Spend a bit more money on a better brand and you will be better off.”
“Not even a one this is the worst company ever
Anyone thinking of buying something from these clowns
Just don’t do it as good as a parachute with holes in it too be honest if they sold chutes I’d take my chance with my girlfriends thong”
“I ordered the air purifier EAP500HC recommended as a best buy by Which..it was delivered in less than 24 hours....wonderful!
I am now trying to replace the composite filter but it seems impossible. I have tried phoning 'Jenny' who gave me her number to ring back but she isn't there. The pictures of staff on line do not give me confidence...they look like a group of laddos having a good laugh. I have no wish to ramp up a large phone bill. Why can't I order this on line??”
“DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.
Product (tumble dryer) is poor quality, packed up after two weeks. Customer care is shocking, virtually none existent!!”
“Air con unit arrived broken. They changed it. Air con has broken after two months. They’re products are awful. We spent nearly £500 on an air con unit. They’re saying 5 days for a response to emails. They charge a huge amount to call customer service. There is a lower cost number but you have to look for it. Avoid this company completely.”
“Does anyone actually answer the phones? I gave up after 62minutes of being on hold. 0871 cost me a pretty penny. I was trying to call up reporting a fault on a product that was only 2 months old (air con). Do not purchase Electriq products, and if you experience a fault... Good luck trying to get ahold of ANYONE.”
“ElectriQ CD20LE - Do not buy this absolute rubbish. Mine was stored safely in its box between uses... all TWO of them (just to dry a bit of laundry)! Yes, the third use and it was dead. ElectriQ use the excuse of 'we are the manufacturer and are devoid of any responsibility, so please go away and contact the retailer'. Retailer, Appliances Direct are shockingly bad and due to the expired warranty, they also do not want to know. I could understand if I'd used and abused it, but really??? 2 times I used it~~ TWO!!! I will never buy from ELECTRIQ or APPLIANCES DIRECT again and if this review helps you to make the same decision, at least I'll have some satisfaction! These companies need to look at how Amazon treat their customers and learn from it!!”
“Unfortunately i cannot write a good review as the customer support provided by electriq is atrocious. I was lied to by the first agent who told me they would contact the sole trader whose name the warranty was in to enable Electriq to deal with me (the home owner for whom the sole trader installed a kitchen) as i have been unable to get a response. After a week I phoned back Electriq who informed me that they would never attempt to make that contact - it was my responsibility and tough luck if I could not contact the warranty holder even though it is registered for my address! Presumably this applies to the other 3 items purchased for installation in my kitchen. For this reason my rating is 0 of 5”
