THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE 1 star I purchased an electriq range oven, after 6 months of use the oven door glass exploded out of no were we were out when this happened we came home to the oven door shattered. This is very strange, when I rang buy it direct they told me I had one year warranty and that electriq will sort ot out. I was chuffed as I was afraid they wouldn't, well when I say the chap that I got over the fone could not of been any more rude, he was obnoxious. He rudely stated glass should not break and I replied I know and not shatter when and made out that we had done it and I said we were both in work. He then bluntly stated were not covering that under warranty as its the glass. I was shocked so looks like il have to lie the loss as parts for this cannot be got. Think twice before you buy these products. Buy cheap buy twice lol.

Bad customer service, very rude person who hanged up on me because she did not know what part I am talking about. Then, after talking to someone else, it took them 1 month to figure out what spare part I need, although they had a picture of it. Then, they contacted me by phone, just to tell me that they will send me an email with a quotation for the part. The email never arrived, even though I contacted them again. End of story, I had to contact different manufacturer to order a spare part that almost fits my stove. Better that nothing.

Purchased a portable air conditioning that both cools and heats.. unit wasn't cheap however on receipt it appears to make the unit heat you need to de-install the hose(s) and swap them around on the unit. This is not a real aircon/heater.. you can only have one or the other.. terrible product ElectriQ make it difficult to get in touch

Would definitely steer clear of this company and their products, unless you want disposable items which are not fit for purpose. Bought a EDFD05 Dehydrator in 2018, hardly used it since then but now it wont heat up. Contacted "customer service" via the website and was encouraged by the quick response. However as the item is out of warranty it was not covered but advised me to call the UK Warranty line and ask about a cost for repair instead. When I finally got through, after being cut off and kept on hold for ages, they had no idea what a dehydrator was and were unable to help as they didn't do repairs to small appliances. Many emails later it turns out that they don't actually have any spare parts. From reading the other reviews it seems to be a common issue. A bit more research and it turns out that they simply rebrand goods from China etc, which is probably why they don't keep spares. Next time I will buy from a more reputable company.

Avoid these chancers. Buy cheap, buy twice was never more true than with this lot. Electric cooker just out of warranty, Oven fan packs up, No one keeps spares, including the company. Customer services don't want to know. You would be better off buying a second hand one on facebook and that's saying something.

Over 40 emails sent between myself and electriq because I needed to know a monitor stand which would fit the monitor I purchased from them. They are outright refusing to even advise me of a monitor stand which they can confirm will fit, instead repeatedly asking for information I provided them 20+ emails ago and refusing to assist until I provide it, repeatedly. God knows what they advise people who are just interested in buying and have a question about a product? I’d say this is terrible customer service, but to even call it customer service would be an overestimate of their ability. Honestly, buy from absolutely anybody else for a better experience.

Spent over £1000 three years ago on a large oven and a combo microwave. Used the hot air oven feature of the microwave for very first time yesterday and after two hours cooling down, it literally just shattered the glass door all over the kitchen. Thank god the grandkids were in the lounge and kitchen was empty ! Customer service don’t want to know anx offered zero help or compensation. No spares available. A £600 microwave written off because of no spares?? No compensation toward another innit?? Nothing. Small claims court here I come.

ElectriQ range oven delivered damaged by Appliances Direct. I had also paid for the removal and recycling of my old range cooker which their delivery people refused to honour - saying "we don't do that for Appliances Direct" anymore. So - I have a damaged cooker and my old cooker sitting in my kitchen - both waiting to be collected and still nothing to cook on. I had to pay a call out charge for the gas fitter who was booked to fit the cooker and still no sign of a refund or a date for the removal of two pieces of scrap!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS - WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN. I purchased an air source heat pump from Electriq last year. I was of course drawn to them as their prices were significantly cheaper than other alternative, well-known brands. I bought one of their units as a cost saving exercise - what a mistake. Firstly - their salespeople on the phone sold me this as a DIY unit, telling me that I could install this myself like many of their customers. Not only was this completely untrue. If I had attempted to install myself (not F gas certified) I would have nullified the warranty (which by the way does not exist with this company). After paying an additional (and unknown cost) of an F gas qualified engineer to install of £400 the unit worked for a year. At just over year old the unit malfunctioned and broke. A probe failure caused ice to build up on the inside of the unit and sheared off a propeller blade. Secondly - I called Electriq about this problem - a clear malfunction with the unit. Bare in mind my unit has a 2 year warranty. They informed me that they could not send out an engineer and they would not pay for an engineer. Thirdly - I begrudgingly called out an engineer at my own expense. He informed me that I need them to send me a new probe and a new impeller. I called Electriq and they informed me that they no longer make the parts for this model and that I needed to PURCHASE A NEW MODEL! Fourthly - I reminded them that this was still under warranty. They said I must send in my installation certificate from the FGas certified engineer to validate the warranty - I promptly did this. They then dragged their heels for a week - claiming that they were looking into the matter. They then tried everything to worm their way out of validating the warranty, including; asking me to get the installing engineer to call them, they called the engineers company, they requested Refcom confirmation, their certificate number - all of which I provided. They then after one week of doing this informed me that my WARRANTY WAS INVALID BUT COULD NOT EXPLAIN TO ME WHY!?!? As you can imagine I was incensed by all of this. As a 'gesture of good will' they then offered me another outdoor unit at a reduced rate of £350. As much as I did not want to purchase from them, it was my cheapest and most convenient option to get back up and running again which I desperately needed! I then called back and told them I would like to purchase this outdoor unit. This was 8 days ago. They informed me that because it was a case it would have to be looked into. I did not receive a call back EVERYDAY FOR EIGHT DAYS after being promised one every day. On the eighth day (just now) I received an email. The summary of the email is this; "after reviewing your case we cannot offer you a replacement outdoor unit at a reduced rate. We would recommend you buy an entire new unit from us" - by the way this unit they have recommended is not at any reduced rate and it is significantly more expensive. In summary; Yes, Electriq had the cheapest product I could find. But there is a reason for that.... - Their sales team are happy to outright lie to get sales. - Their products are faulty. - They will not validate warranties. - Their customer service is appalling. When I initially asked some local engineers about Electriq and their products I was warned - sadly the lure of a cheap product and saving some money got the better of me. It has ended up costing me thousands of pounds in extra costs and the stress in trying to rectify this has been terrible. Yes, I will be taking matters further. I deal with small and large companies day in, day out in my job. I can honestly say Electriq are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

I purchased a built-in single oven and built-in microwave and was very happy with my purchase until after 18 months of use the oven stopped working, no heat at all. I rang customer service and they said that it was out of it’s 12 months warranty and they didn’t want to know. Okay it was only £256 but I expect an oven to last longer than that. Will not purchase from this company again.

More of a health and safety issue than a poor product.Bought a ElectriQ 12L de humidifier. We were quite happy with it did the job in our small terraced house.Until one evening after emptying the unit to return it downstairs the handle completely snapped off causing it to fall down our stairs and smash into the wall at the foot of our stairs.14kgs of appliance falling like could be very dangerous. Please be aware of this danger..we were told its out of warranty and basically our own fault. Was offered on 3 occasions a new handle!!But would I really want to plug the busted appliance back into the mains? No thank you..repeat be aware of this flimsy handle issue.

Absolutely rubbish like everyone else is saying. Bought a fridge which is only 2 years old. 1 month out of warranty. Has Brocken down, can not get spare parts. They don’t hold any spares parts for it. But because it’s a MONTH out of warranty they sad bad luck, nothing we can do. So will be going to the rubbish pile. Spend a bit more money on a better brand and you will be better off.

I ordered the air purifier EAP500HC recommended as a best buy by Which..it was delivered in less than 24 hours....wonderful! I am now trying to replace the composite filter but it seems impossible. I have tried phoning 'Jenny' who gave me her number to ring back but she isn't there. The pictures of staff on line do not give me confidence...they look like a group of laddos having a good laugh. I have no wish to ramp up a large phone bill. Why can't I order this on line??

Air con unit arrived broken. They changed it. Air con has broken after two months. They’re products are awful. We spent nearly £500 on an air con unit. They’re saying 5 days for a response to emails. They charge a huge amount to call customer service. There is a lower cost number but you have to look for it. Avoid this company completely.

Does anyone actually answer the phones? I gave up after 62minutes of being on hold. 0871 cost me a pretty penny. I was trying to call up reporting a fault on a product that was only 2 months old (air con). Do not purchase Electriq products, and if you experience a fault... Good luck trying to get ahold of ANYONE.
