“One of the worst customer services department I've ever had the displease of dealing with. Americans who rad from a script who repeat the same rubbish over and over again. No common sense. Bought a vented hob with 2 pieces of ducting missing yet they insist they are not required when they clearly are. Spoken to 1 person plus a manager there and both the same. I have now bought the rectangular ducting online elsewhere rather than listen to their absolute rubbish any further.”
“Door seal of fridge freezer unit disintegrated. Appliances direct and electriq are claiming its down to damage and not covered under warrenty.
Seal is of incredibly poor quality. Customer service/aftersales care is rubish avoid like the plague currently claiming refund from credit card company.”
“Range oven is awful. Everything needs to be on the higest temperature to cook and the knobs get to hot to touch when oven is on (tea-towel wrapped around hand to stop hands burning). Spend a bit more for better quality”
“We had an Electriq eiQ60INDTP induction hob instead as part of a complete kitchen refit. My daughter placed a hot oven tray on it, and immediately heard a noise. She lifted the tray and saw that the glass had cracked, she was mortified as she thought she’d done something wrong. Don’t worry I told her, it is made to withstand heat, and it’s under warranty. I contacted Appliances Direct and sent them pictures of the crack. Despite me sending them photos and asking them to send an engineer to verify it’s a crack, they insist that it is a scratch which nullifies the warranty, and have refused to send and engineer to look at hob.
In Summary avoid Electriq products and Appliances Direct.
I believe this hob is also marketed with other brand names which are sold by Screwfix and B&Q.”
“We purchased a fridge freezer from this company in November 2023. We were then away for 5 months, so did not start using it until April 2024. The centre shelf on the door cracked for no apparent reason 2 weeks ago. I contacted the so called customer service department who informed me that it was ‘fair wear and tear’ - after only 4 months use!!!! They refused to replace it and when I asked how much a replacement shel would be I was told that there are none available and they do not know when any will be. What a joke! Poor quality, poor service - STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND!!!”

“I rent a property that has an Electriq washing machine. It was brand new and landlord wouldn’t let me bring my own washing machine.
I am so disappointed. Fair enough it gets the washing clean but you can only choose the washes available and can only change the temp and spin speed. However on most washes the max spin speed is 1200. On a cotton wash you can get 1400. However if you do a different wash, say a quick wash, then the spin speed is 1200. If you want to spin again, the highest spin speed is still only 1200 as that appears to be its default. There is no way to set the machine to a quick wash with a high spin speed.
Also, there is no pre-wash facility so with really dirty clothes (working clothes) you would have to jiggle around, stop the wash, and then start it all again as the main wash.
I have read on here that some washers don’t last very long. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that mine is one of those in the hope I’ll get some input on the replacement!”
“no replacement parts for a broken door handle. the washing machine is less than three years old and has to go to landfil. it shouldn't be legal for a comany in 2024 to have such poor replacement parts after care and should be fined for contributing to environmental waste - terrible company”
“Very poor performance,takes a long time to ignite and heat, food cooks quicker on one side. I have 2 of these oven and they are both the same. Only 1 tray supplied even though I had photos of 2 on original order but its hard to communicate with company”

Parts dept useless as well. Engineer promised a new inside door tray when he came to repair last August as it just broke in my hand. Still waiting in January to be told it doesn’t exist and was never ordered.”
“Bought a dishwasher. Was delivered without the fitting kit. Then the tablet dispenser broke and finally the element went - all working 7 months of 3 uses a week. Poor quality product with worse quality customer service.”
“So I have an Electriq Cooker Hood and the fan has failed. Just been advised that the replacement part is not available and they have no idea when it will be available.
The solution buy a new Cooker Hood from a different manufacturer/distributor (Electricq are not a manufacturer)”
