I rent a property that has an Electriq washing machine. It was brand new and landlord wouldn’t let me bring my own washing machine. I am so disappointed. Fair enough it gets the washing clean but you can only choose the washes available and can only change the temp and spin speed. However on most washes the max spin speed is 1200. On a cotton wash you can get 1400. However if you do a different wash, say a quick wash, then the spin speed is 1200. If you want to spin again, the highest spin speed is still only 1200 as that appears to be its default. There is no way to set the machine to a quick wash with a high spin speed. Also, there is no pre-wash facility so with really dirty clothes (working clothes) you would have to jiggle around, stop the wash, and then start it all again as the main wash. I have read on here that some washers don’t last very long. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that mine is one of those in the hope I’ll get some input on the replacement!
