“Having previously over the years had superb fitting trousers from Elvi I find that this is not the case anymore and Iam very disappointed. Would love to be able to do so at this time.”

“Although postage of goods was quick, as I have had before, the state of the goods was shocking. I ordered 3 tops in size 20 they were more like a size 10. Goodness knows what happened to the sizes. Very disappointed.”

“Straight forward, easy site to use. Delivery arrived promptly. Blouse is absolutely gorgeous. Wore it to a wedding and everybody commented on how expensive it must have been.”

“I have been an Elvi customer for many years and it was a disappointment to me when so many of the stores closed. However , the goods can still be bought on line. Any time I have sent for something , it arrives without delay . I am a tall lady and find the lengtth of sleeves . trouser , legs etc., very good with Elvi. On the odd occasion when I have had to return a garment . It is accepted without question and a refund given very promptly.”

“I ordered a dress and and pin stiped skirt I was pleased with the skirt as I am with most of my purchases from Elvi but the dress was not quite right. I took it to a shop and it will be returned .”

“Personally I think the quality of Elvi garments has deteriorated significantly since being taken over by its current owners. The materials, design, cut, finish, range and the size, have all diminished, in my opinion. However, as one of the few larger size specialists, I still look at their offer. I do not buy nearly as much as I used to though. Their service is reasonable; quick delivery, free returns as long as you take the parcel to the correct point, but very slow on refunds. I think the current range of clothes is very old-fashioned, and quite boring. Let's have some fun clothing, even for us oldies and fatties!”

“Ordered my usual size 2 but was too tight so exchanged for size 3. Very little difference in size so still on the tight side. Kept items anyway. Sending them back would have meant I paid £10 postage and didn't have any garments. Probably won't wear them :-(”

“I like the clothes and the fit of Elvi very stylish for the larger lady at a reasonable price ;our local store closed a few years back as did the concessions, I order on line and recive quick delivery and more importantly returns are very easy and therefore I am totally satisfied with the service.”

“I like the clothes at elvi need more choice on line though and being a larger lady and tall as well most of your skirt, dress and trousers are not long enough maybe you could do somthing about that and i would buy more from you on line.”

“At last Elvi are offering free return of goods, which encourages people to order and try clothes without the added expense of returning. I have been a customer of Elvi for years, but have been very disappointed with the quality in recent times. Some tops are very skimpy and small for size, and some of the finishing is poor, e.g. puckered seams. I would be delighted if there could be a return to the quality of material and finishing that was always assured with Elvi in the past.”

“The clothes I brought were really nice but didn't look right on me. I have seen lots of nice clothes. Unfortunately I purchased them in the sales and it was not made clear that you had much less time to return sales items. Unlike other online retailers I shop at all the time you have to pay to return clothes as well. I have two suits worth £100 I can't wear or return. Really un-impressed. First time shopping at Elvi and based on this I would rather stick to my usual online shops.”

“I have bought many elvi clothes from the stores in the past - but I was shocked to receive such poor quality clothing..the tops are like tissue paper and they are not cut in the fashion they are normally cut in, Awful..I can't wear them at all..they still hang in the wardrobe . Inferior quality, lwould not choose them if they were free !!! I would have sent them back but I was so busy my month ran out before I got around to thinking about sending them back,, I couldn't even give them away,,the neck line doesn't seat properly very very poor quality and not the standard that evil normally sell.. I have a few tops just the same but they are far superior in quality. The material is awful .”
