“I am usually an 18-20 on all clothes including trousers. However, I do like to get some of my tops a little bigger when they are supposed to hang. I was very disappointed when trying on the box tops. The inner shell was too tight and the outer box top was way way too big. Also, the other top was also too snug around the hips, which I noticed later on the model in the picture. As for the cardigan, that was very disappointing as well as it just did not sit right and I have pretty good proportions but found the length in the front to be ugly. It used to be I could buy something online practically blindfolded and know that it would fit me. Lately, for the past couple of years, this is no longer true. I wonder if you check that all your suppliers are on the same page with the sizes, because it is obvious they are not. Since you closed most shops and most of us are now obligated to make our purchases from you online, I think that there must be more control of sizes. You show your clothing online with a young model, but most clothing styles have become somewhat frumpy. All in all, whilst I used to say that Elvi clothing fits me as if I had it made for me, unfortunately, I can no longer say this. Please do something!!!”

“This was my first time shopping with Elvi and it was a pleasant surprise. Whilst not all of the items fitted and I sent a couple back, the ones I kept are gorgeous. I bought the orange coatigan and mustard jacket and they are lovely, great quality and both in the sale. I've been dreaming up outfits to go with them! I might even start blogging again as they inspired me. If I could improve anything it would be the returns process. I expect free returns via the post office but coped with paying as delivery was free (first time customer). I won't put me off Elvi it just means I'll be more cautious with what I buy.”

“This was my first order with Elvi. I found the website easy and was impressed by the delivery and the way everything was packed. In fact having done one order I did another a few days. I did have a query with sizing but this was sorted out by the helpful lady on your helpline. I have a lot of your clothes bought a long time ago in your shops and know they fitted me. My coats jackets etc have lasted well and still look good. I do not like shopping on line but with my experience of your clothes in the past and a wedding coming up I decided to take a gamble. I am glad that I did as the quality and fit is still there. Thank you.”

“Ordered 4 pairs of trousers, one of which was to go with a jacket I ordered. Trousers were extremely long though an otherwise quite good fit. However one jacket despite sized 16 was absolutely huge! The other also size 16 had a twisted left sleeve and a kink in the collar fabric! Altogether a disappointing order - quality in some garments worthy of a 'seconds' label. I have purchased many Elvi trousers over 15 years and still wear them - what has happened on this occasion????”

“The service was brilliant though unfortunately the trousers I ordered were not . I ordered 2 pairs of trousers size 22 both of which were too small and completely different sizes to each other. I have other Elvi size 22 trousers which are a perfect fit so it is not me. They will be sent back.”

“Lovely clothes. Great sale offers too. Everything fits well and is finished with quality. Only complaint I have is that skirts dresses and trousers are too short. I am 5'10" and nothing is long enough”
