“I was a good customer in the shops and was sorry when they closed.So having just recently discovered Elvi on line I am delighted to place orders for the clothes that I know will fit well and of such quality and finish.Now I know I can get my type of clothing again I shall look foreward to placing orders in the future.”

“I love the material of this blouse, but the design of it was somewhat different to what I was expecting, it said 'box' type, but was not expecting it to be so wide across the whole width. I am keeping it, but will make changes to it, so hopefully it will be more what I was expecting.”

“I have shopped with Elvi for years now. Over the last couple of years the clothes have changed somewhat, being, I think, mainly for the younger larger woman. By this I mean that the styles are shorter and sleeveless. Older ladies really like to have most of their arms covered I think and also not have so much leg showing. I feel it is a shame the clothes have gone this way, because the garments are well made and wash well too. I hope Elvi can be persuaded to return to slightly longer styles and at least cap sleeves.”

“Elvi is a great company who I have bought from for many years. It's a shame there are so few shops now and none near me at all as it is best to try any clothes on, but they are very good with their refund policy. I'm not sure that the fabrics used are as good quality as in the past, but they're not so expensive either, so I imagine they are trying their best to steer a middle course. I've just bought 3 items - one I am very pleased with, a second that is OK for the price (it was the sale!) and a third that has had to go back because it would have fitted me twice over. If there is one thing I would ask the company to look at, it is the quality of the clothes. I know that companies think they always have to please the young, not middle-agers like me, but we want nice things too. Anne Hamflett”

“It was easy to place the order and also to delete the clothes I did not want to buy. The pictures of clothes are very outstanding making it easy to choose what you want. Delivery was prompt and I have located an outlet where I can send my returns as sometimes the size fits are different Linah Chauke”

“I ordered three Sale items at the most amazing price. I was delighted with the mohair dress which I have already worn and received compliments about, the grey suit jacket is perfect and I need to order the trousers to match it to make a smart trouser suit. The LBD was a bit skimpy and had a gold shoulder bar which was not apparent in thr picture but I have sent it back free of charge and hope to replace it with the grey trousers. I have a lot of ELVI items in my wardrobew which have all been smart and good value but the sale items are extraordinary value. Thank you ELVI Best wishes Christine Channon”

“I brought a pair of trousers and a top but I wish that I had ordered the next size up. The trousers fitted lovely but I couldn't do them up. The top I couldn't get it over my chest. So I had to send them back.”
