“EnergySage was a great way to explore my options for getting solar panels. There was mimimal info required to get started and I was able to get quotes from 4-5 local solar installers without much effort. I was able to ask a few questions and schedule some appointments through the platform without exposing my contact info to any installers I didn't want to follow up with. The site provided great advice and tools to understand the lingo and process, and compare the quotes both objectively and subjectively. I ended up going with an installer that quoted me through EnergySage and everything went smoothly and I was able to give feedback on that installer and others that had quoted me. Great experience overall - would use EnergySage again for sure.”

“Energy Sage is a great tool to get no hassle offers from multiple Solar Installers. I did end up going with the installer that responded quickest to my questions and they also had the best price and features. I tried getting quotes from other local installers, and the one that was comparible in price used lesser components and panels. Energy Sage uses a "buffer" email/ messaging system so you won't get spammed afterwards. It is very easy to use and you get quick results.”

“EnergySage was a tremendous help to me in finding an installer and learning a lot of what I needed along the way. It took about 48 hours the get 6 initial quotes. Messaging all vendors as a group to request a change to their quotes was super convenient, although the messaging interface overall is a little awkward. But it's a nice feature to avoid giving out email or phone number at that stage of the game. I didn't really need much help from my individual advisor, for which I preferred email. Response was a tad slow, but I wasn't in any hurry. And he had good answers to my questions.”

“I took the advice of EnergySage and hired a company that they claimed to have vetted and assured me that they were a stable company and that I should not be worried about them being around to service my system should anything fail. I was worried that they were based out of state but they were very adamant they I could trust Titan Solar. Of course, they declared bankruptcy and went out of business less than a year after installing my system and a month later the system failed and I was told I need a new inverter. Although the equipment is covered in the 25 year warranty, it looks like it is going to cost me about $700 to have someone come out and install it. And I am going to be on the hook for any more repairs that may be needed in the future! DO NOT USE SOLARSAGE! Do your own research and pick a local company with a long track record of providing service in your community. Oh, and went it came to helping deal with this situation, the EnergySage employee couldn't care less and even cancelled a phone conversation that I had set up with them because she said there was nothing they could do to help me!! I have also read that the companies that use EnergySage have to pay for every warm lead that they get, whether they get the job or not. I though they might get paid if the lead turned into a sale but making the company pay for every lead whether they get the job or not could have actually contributed to the failure of the company that I chose to use.”

“EnergySage has been a really helpful and efficient way to obtain and screening quotes from solar installers. I’ve got 6 quotes and communicated with most of them through the online messaging system through EnergySage so that I don’t have to give out my number to everyone until I shortlisted a couple. I also like the way they provide the quotes in the same format which make it a lot easier for comparisons. In addition, my EnergySage advisor, Peter, has been very helpful throughout the process, answering all of my questions whenever I needed. Thanks, Peter!”

“I came across EnergySage during my initial research into buying solar for my home. There, I could look at their comparison of local providers and their judgments on products like solar panels and inverters. They also didn't require a phone number when I signed up for quotes--I could communicate with providers thru their site and avoid calls/texts until I was truly ready. They're truly a one-stop shop. As I read articles about solar on Consumer Reports (they don't rate companies), they would quote EnergySage! When it came to decision time, Nicole Harper from EnergySage was super helpful in narrowing things down, and her customer care/positive attitude made it very easy, especially when comparing things I'm unfamilar with like rated power, quality of equipment and warranties. So thankful for Nicole and the EnergySage Team!”

“I wasn't sure what to expect from EnergySage but I thought I would give them a shot at helping me find a solar company to work with. They do a GREAT job finding only the highest reviewed companies. I received 7 different quotes and spoke with each company so I could get a feel for what they have to offer and everything. I wouldn't have been able to get the system I wanted without the help of EnergySage.”
