After a couple of years doing research and trying to decide if solar was right for me i entered my address on energy sage to get an estimate. What I really liked about energy sage is that all quotes and messages went right to my profile on the energy sage website and i was not contacted directly by solar companies. I was able to compare quotes side by side and only contacted the companies i considered using. I ultimately chose a company based on the final proposal presented and am looking forward to the intallation scheduled for mid may.

Going solar Installing solar panels on a 105 year old Denver bungalow is not a straightforward project. EnergySage allowed us to explore the possibility without committing initially. After some investigation as to feasibility and cost, we were able to obtain bids from multiple contractors. We ended up going with Solarwave and Steven Weaver. The project grew because we ended up converting from gas hot water to heat pump minisplits. We also had to get permission from the Denver landmark commission. Solarwave did a great job on the permitting and installation and we are looking forward to longer sunny days and lower utility bills. The rebates from the federal government, Denver and xcell certainly make this a good time to convert our house from gas to electricity.

I contacted EnergySage after reading a recommendation from the Sierra Club. I received 5 quotes within a week and after reviewing them and contacting some of them with questions and fine tuning their proposals, I signed up and installation will begin next month.

Easy, convenient and full of great and useful information. The video conferences with Energysage Advisor was awesome place to ask very minute details which were very important for me.

Very happy with EnergySage and the EnergySage process. I was able to narrow the proposals down to three and then after talking with those three I had two that came out to the house to confirm their proposals. EnergySage had a nice summary of the proposals and good additional information on the different components, in addition to the reviews of the installers. The EnergySage rep was helpful in answering my questions. I ended up with a 10kW system plus three Enphase batteries and have been very happy with the sytem so far and got my first 'Nothing Due' bill from Eversource the other day. The batteries were primarily to provide whole house emergency backup (ended up similar cost as a generator - there are some things to consider with each). I haven't had a major power outage yet but I tested it for a half a day and ran what I needed to. The couple times the power when out for a short period we didn't even know the power went out. The Enphase system has a great integrated system for the use of the batteries and the solar system. One warning is my local Town ended up requiring a room around the batteries in my basement for fire protection. My installer handled it but it was an unexpected hassle. Different Towns may have different requirements so be sure to ask. I signed up for Eversource's Conected Solutions Program which pays me to use my batteries during peak electrical use during the summer. I hadn't planned on that but it was a nice bonus to help pay back the system. Its limited to certain areas and certain batteries so be sure to check. I've also signed up for Renewable Energy Credits, which was a bit of a hassle to sign up for and is not a lot of money but again will help with payback. Overall I am happy with EnergySage and my solar project.

Energy Sage proved an excellent reference for finding a solar company local to our area. While we didn't need to talk directly with the Energy Sage representive, she stayed in regular contact with us to make sure we knew we could talk with her if the need arose. The company we selected for our installation, Solar Power Pros, was from the set of contractors who reached out to us via Energy Sage.

EnergySage is a remarkably useful resource for anyone looking for solid advice and real information about switching to solar. It’s hard to believe a service like this even exists. But it does, and it’s great.

It worked well as a clearinghouse for the bids we received from the solar vendors on their site.

The comparison mode made it easy to see vendors side-by-side, and to have a good understanding of what different offerings of solar there are in the marketplace.

The companies that gave their offers through EnergySage for our solar project were all very competitive offering differnt options to fullfil our needs. I think all of them had very good standing and reviews and local presence. Their prices were lot better than the companies I reached out directly. EnergySage has lots of information to guide you through all the steps added to that is a human person whom you could reach out at any stage who would like a Sage guide you with unbiased views making your decision making easy. In our journey to finalising my contract I truly appreciate the calm presence of Brendan Dempsey who truly is a very professional advisor. EnergySage comprises of very youg talent of dedicated individuals that make a great team. Thank you.

EnergySage was a fantastic resource in helping us streamline resources, understand benefits and costs for different companies, and to learn about going solar generally. We found EnergySage helpful for both solar and heat pump / mini-splits.

Two solar providers would not quote me on a purchased system, only on a leased system. Each said it "works out better". It does work out better, for them. I got a number of referrals from EnergySage, and they quoted me on a purchased system. The quotes were WAY less than what they quoted for a leased system. I got three low quotes that were similar, so I figured that was probably the "correct" quote, which is a fair price to me and a fair profit for the solar company. I selected one of the companies which was referred by EnergySage.

Advanced Electric and Solar installed a rooftop solar system on our Tucson house in Fall 2024 and we are very pleased with the results. The entire cost was very moderately priced and the installation was surprisingly fast. Joe Alitiem was highly responsive throughout the process. He made multiple visits to see us and communicated regularly during and after the installation, including during the somewhat frustrating stage of Tucson Electric Power’s role post-installation. After receiving multiple bids for this project, the obvious choice was Advanced Electric and Solar. We are certain that we made the right decision and would highly recommend Joe and his company.

Energysage provided a streamlined process to ensure the customer has access to all the necessary data to make an informed decision and access to multiple providers who all use the same information about the customer to offer a quote. Also, Energysage respected my preference to correspond through email. I encourage everyone that has even the most minute interest in the pros and cons of going solar to pique that interest through Energysage.

Energysage was a great help in us adding Solar to our home. All contact from company's giving bids is done through their site. Through them, I was contacted by a company called EnSMARRT that provided a estimate, diagrams on how the panels would be installed. They answered all questions, had great communication through the process and handled everything. I highly recommend both EnergySage and EnSMARRT.
