I took the advice of EnergySage and hired a company that they claimed to have vetted and assured me that they were a stable company and that I should not be worried about them being around to service my system should anything fail. I was worried that they were based out of state but they were very adamant they I could trust Titan Solar. Of course, they declared bankruptcy and went out of business less than a year after installing my system and a month later the system failed and I was told I need a new inverter. Although the equipment is covered in the 25 year warranty, it looks like it is going to cost me about $700 to have someone come out and install it. And I am going to be on the hook for any more repairs that may be needed in the future! DO NOT USE SOLARSAGE! Do your own research and pick a local company with a long track record of providing service in your community. Oh, and went it came to helping deal with this situation, the EnergySage employee couldn't care less and even cancelled a phone conversation that I had set up with them because she said there was nothing they could do to help me!! I have also read that the companies that use EnergySage have to pay for every warm lead that they get, whether they get the job or not. I though they might get paid if the lead turned into a sale but making the company pay for every lead whether they get the job or not could have actually contributed to the failure of the company that I chose to use.

Completely idiotic website. Can't get logged in. Tried to read some reviews but the website, once I finally got accesss, was a joke.

If I could rate IntegrateSun as a zero I would. My experience with this company was horrible. There appeared to be a company of contractors; my solar project manager changed during the first four weeks of the project. One month after I had paid a 30% deposit before IntegrateSun responded with show-stopper requirement from the electrical provider for a $1 Million liability policy which would have been cost prohibitive. I request to convert this into a backup generator contract but IntegrateSun incorrectly responded that the same requirements would apply. Two weeks later IntegrateSun responded with a bid that was $3K higher than the company we selected to install our 18kw backup generator. This was one of the worst experiences that I have had with a service provider.

A shady company that manipulates feedback and savings on its website! Energy Sage, despite claims to the contrary, unprofessionally removes reviews at the request of suppliers. My review, agreed to be accurate by both supplier and Energy Sage, was removed because it was justifiably critical of the supplier signup process, sales representatives' level of knowledge, and their ability to convey that information to a prospective customer. I returned to Energy Sage to update the review only to find it missing. When I contacted Energy Sage they admitted to removing it. In addition, they don't properly represent savings. For example, for rooftop solar, they don't include fees you'll still have to pay the utility! As always buyer beware! Keep in mind Energy Sage exists to help sell energy solutions NOT to aid consumers in making prudent energy decisions! Unfortunately, they are funded by the US Department of Energy and states including mine with misguided criteria.

Great product, poor customer service. If you ever have an issue be prepared for the gaslighting as they repeat the corporate mantra "your issue is due to shading, the system is operating within the spec". This will occur within the first minute of your call, before they make an attempt to assess the data and the situation.

It was good for initial consultation. After selecting a vendor they recommended, they treat you differently. Had an issue from the project with the vendor they recommended and contacted EnergySage. *crickets* went radio silent.

Patently wrong data and very deceptive marketing practices around Net Metering and ROI. Buyer beware! Do your own research, and don't trust energy sage.

Weak service. Vendors did not respond or honor pricing. Did. Or simplify solar process well.

Sucks, don't bring any value to customers only trying to get the best of customers of needs but not following thru

We got one quote back. We asked for them to contact us. They never did. Waste of time.

The initial quote was around $17,000. After talking to them, they required ~$42,000 after 3 days of engineering. When I identified that the only new equipment added was two batteries for the increased price. I ended up getting a quote after one day of engineering needing a larger system with $62,000 price tag. Seems like a bait and switch scam to me.

Sadly, I had a very poor experience. It’s possible I was dropped during the process. My rep missed a couple of appointments. When we finally connected I was wrongfully identified as a potential employee vs. a client. That experience would have been excusable (since no one is perfect); if I wasn’t later ignored / forgotten about again. I like the concept and I truly believe in EnergySage. However, it appears that the client-to-customer ratio is currently high and it is contributing to several bad experiences.
