“EnergySage provides a single location from which you can obtain multiple quotes from solar vendors that have been prescreened. As a retired construction professional, I am quite comfortable with the procurement of proposals, evaluation and awarding of a project to the organization that presents the best value. A prescreening process is something that most construction firms have in place for potential subcontractors, EnergySage provides the prescreening service for the individual in search of competent solar contractors, thereby providing a level of confidence that you are dealing with organizations that can fulfill their obligations. Evaluation of the multiple proposals received involves the evaluation of many aspects of the proposed equipment. Unless you're involved in the solar business yourself, researching all the choices can be daunting as you try to get apples to apples comparisons. EnergySage has already done all that work for you. Plus, you can spend time on the phone with an EnergySage Energy Advisor to help you go through the proposals, understand the various equipment options, and narrow down the field to a few that best fit your project needs and provide the best value offers. This consultation alone saves hours of work and worry on the part of the buyer. Once narrowed down to a select few, you can focus on those contractors and their proposals. “After having endless solar salesmen ring my doorbell and having meeting where no one got back to me, I was relieved to find a different way. EnergySage allowed me to get bids, find vendors, and compare deals. I was able to get more information and get questions answered through the message exchange without revealling my email. I had a good meeting to discuss options with my energysage representative. I chose my lead vendor, had the system installed, and am awaiting final inspection.”

“I contacted EnergySage regarding solar panels and soon received seven quotations for panel installation. The scope of the quotes were all very similar, but the prices varied considerably. It turned out that one of the quotes was from a solar company that are located here in my small town. Coincidentally they happened to be the lowest bid. The name of the company is Texas Solar Professional. After a site visit from the owner and one of their designers, I signed up. What a great company to work with. Any and all questions were answered promptly. Installation actually took two days mainly due to bad weather. I signed up for a net metering contract with a Texas power company and yesterday received my first monthly bill, $0 and $14 credit towards next months bill. If you are thinking of installing Solar and are located in the DFW metroplex I highly recommend that you talk to Texas Solar Professional.”

“If I could rate IntegrateSun as a zero I would. My experience with this company was horrible. There appeared to be a company of contractors; my solar project manager changed during the first four weeks of the project. One month after I had paid a 30% deposit before IntegrateSun responded with show-stopper requirement from the electrical provider for a $1 Million liability policy which would have been cost prohibitive. I request to convert this into a backup generator contract but IntegrateSun incorrectly responded that the same requirements would apply. Two weeks later IntegrateSun responded with a bid that was $3K higher than the company we selected to install our 18kw backup generator. This was one of the worst experiences that I have had with a service provider.”

“I connected with EnergySage after I already had a proposal from the counties largest solar installer. I am so glad I did!! EnergySage quickly (with in 5 days) provided me with 4 quality proposals that were all much better than what I received from that 1st proposal. Cost was less than 1/2 and all sized at about the same system size with more efficeint panels and reliable inverters. The proposal I then went with provided the system quoted quickly. Communications and installation were all handled professionally and I could not be happier with the end result. EnergySage helped me find a much better alternative at a much lower cost!!”

“I worked with Joe F., and he was incredibly helpful throughout the process of deciding whether to install solar panels at our house. He was also patient when we put off the decision from mid-2023 to early 2024, and fully available when we restarted the investigation and went ahead with an order. Your ability to provide comparison data across many suppliers makes the decision process much easier, and knowing that EnergySage has background data on the suppliers helps consumers make their decisions with more confidence.”

“I learned about EnergySage from Matt Ferrel from undecidedmf.com. I really appreciate the normalized proposals that make it easier for a home owner to compare them. I also appreciate that a person from EnergySage itself got assigned to me, however while I got some help the person was not as responsive as I hoped. Maybe one suggestion would be to let installers list out additional devices with detailed information, e.g. for a combiner, sub panel, controller, etc. I wish you all the success, you do great work!”
