“I started the Trial to help a friend out finding some information about about the car she was purchasing and decided to try to use this. I should have just went to CarFax because this was a scam. Free 7 Day Trial it says - did that and of course canceled it online and now they have no record of me canceling. Proceeded to Charge me 49.99 on the 7th day of my trial at 12:01 and will not give me any type of refund. It wasn't even a full 7 days! I am so furious.
DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!”

A quick Reddit search will reveal how many customers feel about this company- most were legally robbed, forced into a contract they weren’t aware they entered and charged $49.99 without their knowledge. No refunds ever from this company, even if you cancel the same day you were charged and never use their service!
Never pay with PayPal or you will never get your money back! You have a chance to dispute the charge if you use a credit card.
Company is based on lies, customer service is awful, car reports useless and incorrect.
There are other services that provide car reports that are correct and much cheaper. They are transparent and will refund you if there’s an issue!
Epicvin had hundreds of BBB complaints as well- check for yourselves!”

I ask for report car for one time only and I get charge $1.40 and there was no any remaining that saying if you don’t cancel your subscription you will be charged and also if you see any one giving 5 STAR reviews don’t believe it it’s from them group. “This IS a scam!!! I used this website to review three VIN numbers. I called the customer support to make sure I wouldn’t be charged for an account membership. I was told it was canceled and I wouldn’t have any payments. Two days later I was charged $49.98. I called to speak with customer service and was given a link to fill out a form. Minutes after submitting it I was rejected a refund AND cancelation. I called again and they ignored my phone number three times in a row. I used my work phone to try and they immediately answered. I asked if I could speak with a manager and the woman spoke to me as if I was the dumbest person on Earth. She said there are no managers. Not sure how there are no managers or supervisors, but I called my bank and they said it sounded like a scam for sure. They blocked them from my account and said that they were set for reoccurring payments. If I had not called my bank, they would continue to charge me $49.99. I am still out the money too- all for three VIN numbers.”
“Report was fine. Just make sure you read the small fine print if all you want to get is one .99 report. They sign you up automagicaly in 3 DAYS for a full months subscription for $49.
I went against my better judgment and fought the charge with PayPal which I lost of course. Now Epicvin says my account is

So the dispute is closed with PP. I contacted Epicvin and requested my account be restored to the full access I paid my $49.99 for, for the remainder of the time I have left on the subscription which is 18 days. So far 72 hours later, crickets.”
“This company is the worst. I signed up to try their service as they offered $1 for a 3 day trial and then $49.99 monthly charge. I thought I would check it out and it was worth $1 to give it a try. The info that I received wasn't what I was looking for and didn't help. I then canceled my subscription literally hours after I signed up. They refuse to refund the money and won't reply when I've reached out to them. Epic Vin is a complete scam. Anything is better than the service Epic Vin offers. Do yourself a favor and google reviews on them and you'll see how many people have been ripped off by them. Complete Scam!”
“I opted for one time report and I was not aware that I have been enrolled for a monthly membership charges of $49.99. I sent an email to support staff after seeing a monthly membership reminder and they cancelled it after 4 days of my request and when membership was already charged. Now they are pointing at weird policies posted on their website that User had to cancel their membership and simply reaching out to support team doesn't ensure cancellation. It's an open fraud. Don't understand the point of support team. PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY FOR SUCH FRAUD COMPANIES who charge customers even after cancellation. They only know how to make money, look at all the reviews on the same. Definitely feel like got cheated on a day light.”
“I would like to give 0 star if possible. They charged $49.99 fee for the membership monthly which I never agreed. They hide lots of details to charge the money directly. If you send an email to ask about the transaction and refund, they actually have an automatic response (within 10 seconds after you sent) saying that they cannot refund the money to you but can only refund it as credit to their website account (which is useless). I was originally use PayPal to get the $1 report and they will charge you through the same payment method. I was arguing twice with PayPal directly but PayPal DOES NOT handle this. I finally need to contact my credit card company and let them dispute it. So TLDR: do not use this company, and if you did have the same experience, just go with your credit card company and dispute it directly. This company should be listed as a fraud company globally in the finance system.”
“Although the service was useful, you may stop using it at some point. Be careful with their subscription policies, they will steal your money without any chance to refund and the support will tell you that they will not refund although the subscription was cancelled a day before the charge. My opinion is that this is a fraud. No preliminary notice of charges, no notice of trial period expiration and no chance of getting the money back. I would rather find some other service than the one that tries to charge me in a hidden tricky way, but if you can still try, but then immediately delete your card from the account.”
