This company is a complete scam and any positive reviews are people they have hired
The only reason I bought their their three day trial, Was that I had run a VIN number on a vehicle I was buying.
Their site popped up Saying there were 21 “serious mechanical issues” Or something to that effect. But they were great and I could not see the report in full until I paid $1 for the free trial.
As soon as I paid & got the report, those 21 issues mysteriously disappeared!
I even submitted a question on their contact us page to ask about it.
They just kept replying in circles, Not giving me an answer, And basically didn’t reply until the three day trial was over!
In the meanwhile, however, I decided this was obviously a scam and I did not want to Get dinged, So I went on their website to cancel The three day trial The last day.
They made it very difficult to cancel, And in fact, I think I had to go through three separate pages of “confirming” I did not want any of their services or any other products or did I really want to cancel!
And guess what?
They charged me anyways, and claimed I didn’t cancel!
Complete and utter scam!!!
Never deal with epicVIN.

“I'm surprised that EpicVIn has this many complaints. I found out the hard way. I paid for the 1 dollar 3 days subscription and cancelled a day before the deadline. My account subscription page clearly shows my subscription as cancelled.
I later got charged 49.99 for their monthly sunscription and I thought this must be a mistake. I contacted customer care and sent a screen shot of my account showing subscription has been cancelled and also the expiry date for the 1 dollar 3 day subscription. They sent a generic email reply stating my account was automatically renewed because I didnt cancel the sunscription and its clearly written in their terms and conditions. My account page still shows subscription cancelled. I wouldnt be so pained if I didnt cancel, to have money stolen from me in such is really frustrating. This is definitely a scam and it's amazing nothing as been done about them so far. whats the point of complaining when the Epicvin is allowed to continue stealing?”
“They charge you 50$ a month, then when you go to cancel, they have a pop up up to subscribe for one year at 100$. The reports of vehicles are not detailed. You can get better and more info from Carafax. I call to request the money back and they don’t answer. You send them an email from their website, they never respond or address”

Customer service is horrible and you will not get a refund of the $49.99 they steal from you after the $1 trial. You will be charged without your knowledge because the fine print is very hidden, and they won’t return your money even if you contact them immediately after the charge and without using their service.
As this wasn’t enough, their report is flawed and by far inferior compared to Carfax reports but way more expensive.
