Horrific customer service with fraud. I have recently paid deposit and administration fees for a room in a shared apartment in Gdansk, Poland. In fact, a rent fee on the website was indicated as 250 euros per month. However, I was told by a landlord that the rent fee on the website is out of date and hence, I need to pay 450 euros monthly for the rent. The suggested fee does not correspond to initial agreement as advertised on the website. I wrote to them many times with respect to claiming for the refund. Unfortunately, they did not keen on coping with the issue. In a nutshell, they are fraudsters whose aim is to rip off students.

Frais de service abusif - CHAMBRE A PISE Après 1 mois de "négociation", toujours pas de réponse, sauf sur ce site où ils répondent assez rapidement, mais en mentant. J'ai réservé au départ une location à 420€ charges comprises, avec 239€ de frais de réservation pour Erasmusu. La chambre n'étant pas disponible ils m'ont renvoyé sur ce qu'il restait...J'ai finalement opter pour une chambre à 310€ hors charge, avec par chance, 99€ de frais de réservation ; mais ils ont garder les 239€ de départ et ne veulent pas me rembourser la différence de 140€. Ils évoquent une erreur dans le système, mais il suffit d'aller sur le site et s'apercevoir que beaucoup de chambres sont affichées avec 99€ de frais. Je continuerai a publier mon avis sur les réseaux tant que je n'aurai pas de réponse claire de leur part par mail

Hi fellow students, just wanted to share my experience with Erasmusu/Spotahome (Erasmusu belongs to Spotahome). Maybe it will help some of you to be more cautious with these websites. Further below I will explain the full story for the ones who are interested. In short: I accepted an offer on the above stated website and the landlord just changed the conditions and raised the price AFTER booking. I did not accept such behaviour and the website refuses to refund the service fee although no mistakes on my side. Long version: I accepted an offer (price stated that all bills are included except gas) for a room and booked it. I had to pay a service fee and the first monthly rent. Afterwards I received the contact details of the landlord who I gladly contacted to talk about how to hand over the keys. However the landlord just changed the conditions on WhatsApp and tried to charge me extra fees for electricity, internet and water. I notified Erasmusu about this but received no help at all. I checked the website after 2 weeks (it took that long for Erasmusu to write back) and was shocked to see that the offer was changed AFTER my talk with the website and landlord. After contacting Erasmusu again, they said that the offer states the "correct" information. Being afraid to have such a case I made evidence pictures and screenshots of the website before it was changed. I even saved an offline version of the website and sent all these evidences to Erasmusu. They still refused to refund the fee and just wrote me back: tenants are responsilbe to check all information before booking. I feel very disgusted by this kind of behaviour from the landlord and also from the website. No wrongdoing on my side at any point but Erasmusu/Spotathome still treats its tenants like this. Take care of scammers in these facebook groups but also of these kind of websites. I would have suggested you to make screenshots as evidence but not even that is enough as I experienced. Wish you all good luck to find a reliable website/landlord.

If you are a professionel who whant to… If you are a professionel who whant to publish an accomodation they are making presure on you by blocking your add and force you to subscribe to their verified system. if you are a student be very careful by their verified system because they verified nothing !! they just took 15% commission on a rental accomodation to the person who publish the accomodation but they are not checking if the advertising is a scam or not or if the pictures are real or not.

It is really a very bad bad company I have Still my money not back And no reaction from them. Do not believen all the positive comments they are writen by themselve They are dangerous they use poor students to spend money with them. Please everybody start a investigation

Gestión de Erasmusu Me gustaría comentar que si realizas alguna reserva por la pagina de Erasmusu el trámite se va a procesar todo vía emails. Que en ningún momento tienes la opción de hablar con ellos por teléfono y que tienen un horario de asistencia limitado. En mi caso personal. Hace una semana que reservé un piso aparentemente libre pero que luego ha resultado no estar disponible( algo que debería de verificarse con anterioridad a lo que a mí respecta) y sigo a la espera de que me den instrucciones sobre la devolución de mi dinero. He recibido otras ofertas de pisos pero ninguna me ha convencido y sigo a la espera de que alguno de los agentes me de solución a esto y me devuelva el dinero. Espero que finalmente sea así y puedan recuperar los 900€. Si es así también lo haré saber. Pero por el momento la comunicación me parece desastrosa y todo este asunto me ha generado mucha ansiedad. Por lo general estoy muy descontenta y espero de verdad que la devolución del dinero sea integra y en un tiempo razonable.

Sito non affidabile perché offre case che in realtà non sono disponibili. Viene immediatamente addebitata la cifra richiesta senza conferma della disponibilità della casa. Nel mio caso sono stato costretto a pagare una casa che il sito dava disponibile ma in realtà non lo era. Inoltre non si riesce a contattare nessuno, sono giorni che invio email senza ottenere nessuna risposta

Réservation annulé et aucune réponse. Argent débité Bonjour j'ai fait une réservation pour Budapest pour un studio. J'ai reçu ce matin un message m'indiquant que ma réservation ne pouvait aboutir car la location est indisponible alors qu'il état spécifié que la disponibilité était vérifié. On m'a demandé de faire d'autres choix , ce que j'ai fait (3 autres choix de réservation) . L'argent a été débité et je n'ai aucune réponse. J'ai demandé via le tchat qu'on traite ma demande, mail Aucune réponse. Je ne trouve pas correct qu'on ne réponse pas aux mails. C'est très urgent

Address said isn't real My name is Mikael Victor and recently I've booked an accomodation in Lisbon, Portugal by Erasmusu. Just after paying and talking privately with the Landlord, I could be able to find out that the address said in the website and the real address are totally different. In another city! Despite the accomodation was verified, the address wasn't and it's crucially important information that they didn't check. I've tried to find a solution with them, sending emails, conversations, printscreens, and I didn't get any answer, I neither know if I will get my refund. It's a very very frustrating situation I am now

J'ai fait une réservation sur le site d'Erasmusu.com, j'ai dû verser un premier mois de loyer + des frais de réservation pour booké un appartement. L'argent a été prélevé sur mon compte directement avant la validation du propriétaire du logement. Le montant prélevé devait être ensuite versé sur le compte de la personne en charge de la location lors de mon entrée dans le logement mais cela n'a jamais été fait. La somme devait être versée au propriétaire en Janvier, nous sommes mi-juillet et il n'a toujours rien reçu. Erasmusu me dit avoir contacté le propriétaire pour le paiement mais cela s'est avéré faux. Toujours pas d'avancement dans le dossier, Erasmusu n'a toujours pas donné l'argent. Le propriétaire retiens donc une partie de ma caution pour faute de non-paiement. Pas de numéro que des échanges de mail qui ne mènent nulle part. Les avis négatifs sont supprimés... bref ne passez pas par cette plateforme

J’ai réservé un appartement pour la rentrée avec 2 chambres pour moi et une amie. Ma réservation a été annulé j’ai donc demandé un remboursement et depuis le 30 juin personne me répond concernant ma demande de remboursement. Avis modifié: Oui votre équipe m’a envoyé des mails tout les jours c’est à dire 1 fois par jour et depuis le 30 juin que je demande un remboursement seulement depuis hier et après mon avis on m’a fait un remboursement. Malgré plusieurs mails où je préciser ne pas vouloir attendre de réponse du propriétaire des deux chambres de solution. On m’a ainsi rembourser le premier loyer mais qu’en est-il des frais de service ? On refuse de me rembourser car d’après eux ils ont travaillé. Bien évidemment mais je demande des chambres à 310€ et 340€ et on me les propose à 400€ d’après eux je suis censée accepter cela. Je leurs ai expliqué la différence de prix qui est apparu de nul part mais on refuse de m’entendre en disant que ce n’est pas de leur faute.D’ailleurs c’est les seuls à prélever l’argent de votre compte sans même avoir la réponse du propriétaire. Je ne recommande absolument pas. Dernière réponse: Je ne vais pas m’attarder sur ça car vous ne voulez pas comprendre j’ai envoyé une solution le 30 juin à 12h21 et à 12h30 je vous ai renvoyé un message pour demander l’annulation et ainsi avoir un remboursement mais d’après vous personne a vu ce mail. Ce n’est pas grave. Je ne recommande absolument pas, ne vous faites pas avoir.

J’ai réservé un appartement que je voulais occuper avec ma colocataire et j’ai payé 1100 euros de caution ! On me dit que l’appartement est indisponible alors j’en envoie d’autres .. 1,2,3,4... tous indisponible. Dans la ville où je pars il ne reste aucun appart sur le site avec 2 chambres. J’exige un remboursement personne ne peut dépenser 1100 euros en l’air comme ça et je n’ai plus d’options sur le site

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH ERASMUSU! Me and my friend booked an apartment via Erasmusu in Prague. Everything was okay, we got a confirmation email and we paid the rent and a service fee. Even though the time was short, we were happy to have a new apartment. The next day we heard, out of the blue, that the apartment was not available anymore. Erasmusu offered to help, but instead they gave us options which were not even close to the bare minimum we asked for. There was nothing comparable to the apartment we initially booked. To our understanding, they must help us to find something else, because they claim to provide a service (we paid +-150 euros serivce fee) and this service was HORRIBLE. We were desperate to find another apartment, because our old rent ended in a couple of days, the time was ticking now because erasmusu cancelled our first reservation. And they did not help at all. Because we didn't want to sleep in the streets, we chose to email them saying we want an apartment, even though it was not even close to the first one. But then, they did not respond, even though it was in between their working hours. They left us hanging. We were forced to book a really expensive hotel and apartment from another agency, because it was radio silence from Erasmusu's part. We asked for the refund, they did gave the rent but did NOT give the service fee back (150 euros), even though we paid the service for NOTHING. The service they claim to provide is not good at all. In our opinion, if you, as a customer, pay for the service fee, they must provide the apartment you paid the service fee for, or give similar options. Erasmusu DID NOT do that at all. They did not provide ANY service. We will NEVER book anything from Erasmusu ever again.

I have booked and paid for a flat in Salamanca on 17/05/2021. Since then, you have neither sent me a booking confirmation nor any information about the flat. You have also not responded to several emails from me. The staff member responsible for me, named Alessio, no longer answers my questions. I don't understand this attitude, first you confirm my booking, then you debit the money and then I hear nothing about my booking. I contacted the owner of the house and he did not find my name under the booking or it was not booked under my name. But why did I have to pay 489 euros when you didn't even book me the flat. Is this something of a rip-off from you?

SCANDALEUX Des commissions sur des réservations approximatives !!! C’est la première fois que je vois ça, en tant que propriétaire ! Aucune information sur les commissions prises sur le site, aucune précision non plus lors d’une demande d’approbation d’une réservation !!! Mais enfin quand vient le moment de reverser le premier mois pour une réservation pour une hypothétique durée, là le site prend bien sûr sa commission sur le locataire d’une part mais surtout inflige une commission jamais précisée sur la transaction propriétaire sans certitude que le locataire gardera le logement sur les mois à venir !!! SCANDALEUX. AUCUNE REPONSE DU SERVICE CLIENT. IMPOSSIBLE DE SUPPRIMER MES PROPRES ANNONCES !!!! Un seul mot résume leurs méthodes de voyous : Escroc

BE CAREFULL! I was supposed to arrive in Valencia by June 11th. Nicoletta told me that I will be answered for 100% on the 10th. Ultimately, the apartment was not available and has been removed from the site. I had to cancel my expensive flight. I had already approached every owner, but nothing was free. According to European law I have to get my money back. Unfortunately, Alessio is extremely difficult about this, he has not been able to find anything on the 20th either. Only now does he come up with an expensive solution, but does he also pay my booking costs for my flight? No. I've been asking for days if I get my money back but Alessio does not respond. He keeps thinking of himself without an excuse. Do not work with Erasmusu and do not work with Alessio Pensiero! scammers. I lost 800,-!!!!!!!!!!!!

Annulation d'une réservation Bonjour, Je vous envoie cet avis suite à une réservation que je n'arrive pas à annuler. Cela fait plusieurs jours que j'essaie de contacter votre équipe en vain... Comment puis-je annuler ma réservation Booking ID#1008359 au plus vite svp ? Je vous rappelle que c'est une offre flexible avec donc possibilité d'annuler dans les trente jours gratuitement, afin de me faire rembourser. Merci

SCAM ALERT!!!! Do not fall victim to this scam! Where do I start, I paid for a room that was ‘immediately available’ to then be told there was a leek at the property so it wasn’t going to be ready for when I arrive in Spain.. not the end of the world, I sent another room that was fit for purpose and in the right location for me and then same again ‘this room is unavailable’ I’m told, why advertise rooms that are not available?! I was then being coerced into choosing 2 other options that quite frankly I wouldn’t let me dog sleep there. I fly out to Spain in less than 48 hours and I have no place to stay and no one has even answered my email. I am now waiting on photos of a room that is apparently ‘available’ and the ad is being put together for me but 5 days later still nothing. This company takes your money and does NOT deliver. Clearly fake reviews on Trustpilot.

Alesio péssimo atendimento , no responde as chamadas e-mails , me mando uma garota que fica 5 ,6 dias sem toma banho e perdeu o cartão de acesso ao edifico e agora não me responde e quem fico no prejuízo foi eu não aconselho péssimo atendimento e atenção ao cliente!
