My overall experience with Europasat is a little mixed, it was a hard choice which rating to leave. Some parts of the experience have been exceptional and some very poor so I've settled on a "Good" overall rating. Things that went well; Delivery of the equipment was next day, very good. The quality of the equipment I purchased was exceptional and very good value for money. Building and installing the dish was a breeze. Things that were not so good; In brief - ensure Europasat provide all required details and ensure they're correct. I did not initially receive required customer details required to install the modem, the instructions kept stating the details were on the invoice, they were not! When I finally realised I was missing information Europasat support was closed for the day meaning the installation stretched into a 2nd day. Europasat were very helpful once I managed to speak to them and provided the required information immediately. I could then finish the installation, unfortunately the information provided was incorrect meaning my dish would not lock onto the satellite, this being my first installation I assumed I'd done something wrong and wasted a further 2hrs rechecking my work before calling them a 2nd time, I was provided with correct information this time and the installation went smoothly. Sadly I still could not get online and a 3rd call was required to determine that Europasat had incorrectly configured the modem prior to dispatch. This was resolved quickly but by now into a third day of installation I finally got online. The system has performed well but I still seem to have some sort of an issue receiving Windows updates, I've tried two different windows7 computers and neither seem to receive updates via the satellite. Switching back to my previous 3g internet connection resolved this immediately, Europasat still have to resolve this.

i have only 2 points -delivery was quite long -the cable 30 meters was not included These could corrected, i am sure. best regards

Installation great, fast, sales girl good, seemed to have used up a lot of allowance without reason, I did ask who paid for the usage for the software update on the box and was told not me, so I'm puzzled and not totally convinced, not sure how it can be done without using my connection... anyway the second response from technical was a little curt...other than that the connection is good...

The instruction video is not up to date! It looks like it from the early 90s. It should be easy to follow if you have an Mac Computer and an airport express as router for example. Missing the downloading of the app in the video, for me that was a crucial part in the set up!

Delivery : good Equipments : good Installation : impossible to find a professional who accept to do the job (Vendée in France, near Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie). So, i made it !

Good reliable connection that allows independent broadband at my location which is fairly remote, and at no lesser speed than the BT fibers at this area.

The service from order to set up was well executed, your contractor was exceptional, still to work out if 40gb will be enough storage.

It's variable in terms of speed, but always at least 10 times better than what I had before. The installer who came, whose name was Keith, was excellent- knowledgeable, patient and good humoured. One thing- is there an ap or something I can have on my iPad to monitor my usage? At the moment I'm scrolling back to the email you sent me to find the link to my home page, which is a bit of a bore.

Dominic, at the Oxfordshire office, was knowledgeable and splendidly helpful. He did what he said he would do. We paid what he said we would pay and the dish, router, modem and nuts and bolts arrived when he said they would arrive. However, when it came to activating the installation (08.10.15) we were puzzled for some time that nothing worked. It was only when we telephoned the Technical Department that we learned that the system was suffering an outage. I believe that this is an Americanism for "breakdown". Eventually the system was restored, we were able to complete activation and all has worked well since. We hope that system breakdowns are rare.

I have had a broadband connection for a number of years through my telephone line and was promised a download speed of up to 20Mbps. However the line would only take 2Mbps but most of the time the actual speed was around 0.5Mbps. It was impossible to view videos on line because they kept dropping out and stopping/starting. It took ages to download anything varying from an hour for a small download to many hours for a large download. As a result I turned to satellite broadband. The download speed has greatly improved and is around 12Mbps but it has been up to 18Mbps at times. The upload speed has gone from 0.2Mbps to around 6Mbps. I have nothing but thanks to say to Europasat for supplying the equipment and making the connections. The whole package was made very easy and the price was very reasonable. The equipment is owned by me so I can take it with me if I move to another part of Europe without too much problem. I would recommend Europasat to anybody who is thinking of changing to satellite broadband. Many many thanks to Europasat from a very grateful customer.

Slow when using vpn and it seemed to get slower the more I used it. Ok for surfing the net but I don't think I could use it for work every day

Due to the latency that is inherent with Satellite Broadband we would always recommend that you test the system with any VPN before ordering as some are affected more than others by the latency. Technically the product delivers good speed, however, the cost is prohibitive for using to streamline film and series.

SES broadband internet (PAYG) does what it says on the tin! Good quality kit, good instructions (do not overlook video, is very helpful). Now have internet at remote holiday home on fringe of footprint. Good support from Europasat Bicester team - real people, friendly and helpful (Jess and Trina in sales, Alex and Magic in Tech). My system worked out of the box but was painfully slow at first; resolved in a couple of hours by Europasat; zero downtime since and better speed, now completely useable though download still slow (2-4 Mb/sec for up to 10 Mb/sec service). Have not investigated if further improvement is possible, as OK as is for our needs.

Good sales experience with excellent delivery. Also very good technical support with swift clear answers. However there was no clear installation instructions included as promised - no dvd, just a one page manual. The on-line video is only useful if you have a broadband network to start with!! The Iphone App is completely devoid if any instructions at all! If I did not hire someone to install the dish who had some experience with Tooway I would have been lost!! Also the router needed a computer with a DVD drive which not everyone has.
