“Brilliant service from Nickwiseman, he kept us updated at all times guided as all the way sound advice, he was the only solisitor that gave us any hope that we would have contact again with our grandchildren and we will always be very grateful to him and Wooley &Co”

“A very professional organisation, that performs all the "back office" activities in a clearly organised manner. Where they score heavily for me is in the personal attention to detail. “The solicitor was not personally responsive to me, did not wish to meet with me, wanted to conduct everything by email and appeared very slow in following up the whole process. The financial order which he suggested was required at the outset was ultimately a waste of time, and he didn't seem to chase up the other side for swift responses. My divorce had been in train for nearly 2 years, and is still not absolutely complete, despite now having reached decree absolute. It has also reached a total of thousands of pounds in costs. It even cost me personally another £70 to take advice about whether to change your firm to another solicitor's as I was so unhappy with your representative's lack of response.. I was recommended to you via my union, UNISON and will be advising them I did not find the service from Woolley's cost effective, timely or satisfactory. Yours, Alison Billett”

“Nick wiseman was the only solisitor who said I had a chance to win case to get access to my grandchildren, He kept a positive attitude throughout the case without making any promises he could'nt keep, I would highly recommend him and the company for every thing they done for us in getting to see our grandchild again Nicola. “I wish I could be as positive as some of the previous comments listed here. My experience with Woolley and Co has been that of a very professional company. Unfortunately, I cannot be as positive in relation to the individual who took on my case. Sue is professional. She is very professional. To the extent that she does not listen to her clients input when questioning expert advice presented. My case required specialist knowledge of a particularly complicated pension. The expert sought out did not possess this knowledge and, as a result, my case did not achieve the balanced result I sought. Sue did not give advice which was in my best interests. She did not always know the specifics of my case in detail. On one occasion supplying another clients detailed pension statement instead of my own. Woolley and Co, as a company, have been very professional. I was led to believe their representatives were some of the best in the business, possessing emotional intelligence, dogged determination and (importantly) empathy for their clients and their case. Ultimately, going out of their way to provide the best possible outcome for their client. Unfortunately that wasn't the case for me.”

“I contacted Kimberley in April 2016 after a year of feeling very frustrated with my previous solicitor. I felt unconfident in my own abilities and what I could and couldn’t do about my case. I felt that my previous solicitor would encourage me to compromise on almost everything. I emailed Kimberley alongside a few other emails. It was a fairly long email, explaining my situation. Kimberley was quick to respond to me and from the moment I spoke to her, I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulder – she took charge of the situation. Kimberley completely understood me and the nature of my opposition. Kimberley has worked with me till date, consistently offering me strong legal advice, words of encouragement and moral support. There were times where I didn’t like the advice I was given however I knew to trust Kimberley as she had my best interests at heart. Kimberley has not made any errors in the handling of my case. I felt that Kimberley was fighting my corner at every point. Kimberley did not ask me compromise on what I felt was in the best interest of my child which I felt that my previous solicitor did to make things easier because of difficult opposition. With Kimberley’s advice, I have grown as a person into someone who is much more confident in the handling of my case. Kimberley has always been extremely quick to respond to my emails or call. I have sometimes emailed Kimberley late in the evening and she has responded that very same evening which meant that I could rest peacefully. It is a huge comfort to know that your solicitor is not going to take a week to respond to your query! When my mother suffered a heart attack, Kimberley took the time to offer her support and kind words. Kimberley has brought the case to a point of resolution and I feel like I am back in control of my life, my time and to feel confident in my decision making. I would not hesitate to ask for Kimberley to handle any future matters and I am rest assured that I have found the best solicitor for my child and me.”
