Service was great as usual, however the saussages were just about inedible because of extremely high salt content. I think the butcher added salt twice. I was also not happy with the rib-roast. They claim it was 35 days matured, but the colour of the meat looked more like 7 days matured. I'm afraid that it was not the usual high quality I received previously.

The meat smelt funny after only 2 days in the fridge,it had a printed use by date of nearly 5 days but it didnt smell right after just 2 so i didnt eat.

Sorry to say, but the ribeye we ordered, and have had two pieces from a pack of eight, was tasteless and tough. Hopefully the rest will be better. I have been cooking steaks for nigh on fifty years and I think by now I do know what I am about. We will give Farmisons another chance and order Aberdeen Angus next time.

Only had the cote de boeufso far and I have to say I was very disappointed. I cooked it longer than recommended and it was still very blood rare. Also it tastes nothing special as your advert. I have had much flavoursome meat from my local supplier. All in all not good Regards P Clegg

I ordered 2 packs of beef Osso Bucco ( each pack serves 4 according to the website ) but it was very disappointing to receive a total of 5 slices , as I was having a dinner party for 6 people I had to order another park ( and that only contained 3 slices of Osso Bucco ) ,It would be great if they cut them all the same size as indicated on the website , wont use again !

The topeside of beef I ordered was not 32 days as ordered. It was also tasteless and tough. I threw the mince that as ordered away as it was not very good. This was my first order with Farmison and would have thought that they would have tried to impress so that I would use them again. I already use a very good local butcher and will continue to use them.

1] By the time I got round to printing the cooking instructions for the 'pigs-n-blankets' they had disappeared from your website; however I guessed & they were fine 2] I cooked the goose breasts exactly as suggested, but added 5 mins since my husband does not like pink meat - they were still red and bloody [despite 15 mins resting] and we could not eat them - this was on Christmas Day 3] The partridges were very tough although I followed the instructions to the letter. I should add that I am an experienced cook [50 years] and have often cooked game before.

The sirloin joint and steaks smelt of rotten blood even after cooking they stank awfull so bad even the dog didn't want it we did as instructed and froze on the delivery day on fast freeze Did not expect it to smell perhaps aged beef does smell we don't know will not buy again

Although I ordered the Aberdeen Angus rib roast more than 3 weeks in advance, another breed was substituted at the last minute. Also, the saddle of lamb was very fatty...won’ get that again.

I ordered a prime Rib for Christmas dinner and it was inedible. Tough and had to throw out. Worst prime Rib I've ever had and I make one every Christmas. My dinner was ruined. That was NOT a prime Rib at all! I spent a lot of money on show leather. I will never recommend or but from this company again.

Service was excellent - informative and helpful. The Porchetta was disappointing. I thought it lacked flavour. I followed the Farmison recipe and timing exactly so no fault there. I chose Farmison because I was keen to have the best flavoured Pork for Christmas and was led to believe that that is what I would get from rare breed meat.

I would firstly like to say that the quality of the meat was very good. However, the delivery ended up being very difficult as we booked a Tuesday slot as this was the only day that someone would be in to take the order. My wife waited in the the entire day and it wasn't until after 4pm that I received an email saying it wouldn't be delivered until the following day. My wife was actually ill on the Wednesday so could have taken delivery. The parcel force tracker said it was on its way into 18:15 when the tracker was updated to say that it wouldn't be delivered. Due to the importance of the delivery (Christmas dinner) I then had to take the Thursday off work to wait for it to be delivered. At the time of ordering I had hoped to make this a regular thing but sadly due to the delivery issues I don't think that we'll consider it.

My 3 bird roast was only 2 birds and the outside was just a layer of fat like the duck was on the outside and the turkey was missing. Turkey is not a fatty bird so all the fat must be from the duck. I didn’t feel this was a Farmison specialty as it had a label stating “Packed for Farmison”, so I guess it just came from a wholesaler and had a Farmison label stuck on it. I wouldn’t order it again.

The meat arrived on time and was superbly packaged. We cooked the meat exactly as your chef recommended. The meat had an excellent flavour, however, it was very tough. I must admit to being very disappointed. We were really looking forward to Christmas dinner and I must admit I feel let down.
