The meat ordered was due to be delivered 20th. Email late on 20th said it due to backlog it would be delivered 21. Text from parcelforce said it would be delivered between 5 and 6 pm. Needless to say it did not come. Phone call to you on 21 and 22 promised to look into the matter but no return call. Text from parcelforce said it would be delivered 22nd between 7 and 8pm. Highly unlikely will be out at this time. It was eventually delivered about 11am 22nd. We were out all day so not home until 9pm. Too long for this meat to be packed in this way and meat was discoloured. We used it as we had nothing else ordered. Bad service for meat at this price and extremely frustating for us as to whether we would actually receive at all for Christmas meal. Customer service non existent except to answer a phone and say sorry.

delivery was two days late and was never confirmed as actually arriving. meant that I had to buy an additional backstop Christmas day meat.

Turkey parcel was mediocre. Too much stuffing to turkey. Goose was ok flavour but very tough despite slow cooking the legs.

Don't expect Fatmison to contact you to let you know your delivery won't be arriving on the specified day or to let you know what prompted the delay.. Good products but sub standard customer service when things go wrong. Which is exactly when you need a company to step up and keep customers informed. Very shoddy.

We are so sorry that Parcel Force failed to deliver as per your selected delivery date. We did everything within our power to try and get them to make this delivery on the day you were expecting. We aim to keep all customers fully updated on the status of delivery based on the information which Parcel Force are able to provide, but they struggled with this due to a severe backlog on their system. Delivery was spot on, and the only thing we have eaten so far was the rump steak. Unfortunately it was tough and sinewy. The dog at least had a good meal. I hope this was a one-off, and look forward to trying something else.

We were, sadly, disappointed. Both the beef and lamb were tender, the general lack of flavour tended to match similar joints we can purchase locally - either supermarkets or specialist butchers. We won't be back. The delivery service and wrapping arrangements were first class.

I did not receive the order because of a supplier problem Farmison told me about hours before I needed the meat. (Of course I was promptly refunded). While I appreciate that supply chain problems happen, the late notice put a large event in jeopardy. Luckily another butcher was available to help on short notice. Farmison did not offer any alternatives or support.

Arrived a day late due to misload at carrier depot a nice lady called Karen rang to let me know. Had to order pizza as was planning to serve the meat for dinner and it was too late to defrost anything else. When the parcel arrived the next day the box was broken and dented and smashed I don't know if this was the reason the mince looked grey and unappealing but none of it looked like the website pictures. At eighty pounds it was an expensive trial of ordering meat online for me. Others may have better luck.

Meat was not tender at all, paying £40 for 3 pieces of meat I would expect the meat to be of a good standard. The packaging however was very good quality and good postal service. Sorry for the bad review on the meat I would just expect more for the money paid.

Expected better quality but was disappointed, have tasted better from my local supermarket. The pork and beef sausage was awful, even the dogs didn't like it. The dry cure bacon was nice though. Shan't use again.

Ordered a porchetta for xmas , thought it was the stuffed porchetta only to find it was the porchetta stuffed with herbs . When cut open you could barely see the herbs. Farmison need to make their website clearer . Very disappointing.

The prompt and polite service received from your company was very good.Sadly your meat failed to reach the same standard.I ordered a porchetta joint to take away to Devon for our family holiday. There was very little meat content in thus joint,and whilst I appreciate it had to be wrapped in fat, I would say at least 75%of the joint was fat,with minimal meat content. A very disappointing meal at Xmas and quite embarrassing for me with my family. Thus is the first time I have used your company, and will likely be the last,I do believe under these circumstances I am entitled to a refund. We ordered a Haunch of Venison but it was disappointingly lacking in flavour. The pigs in blankets were tasty but you can get them anywhere!

I ordered all the Xmas day meat from Farmison, and while the gammon, sausage meat for the stuffing and pigs in blankets were all of good quality, the main item, the goose, had gone off and had to be binned. I realised as soon as i broke into the polythene that the smell was not right, but with it being Xmas day with no option of a replacement, i hoped that the bird was actually ok and started the cooking process. But the smell from the oven proved that it was definitely off and the bird went in the bin. I defrosted some chicken breasts from the fridge - not the Xmas lunch I had planned and looked forward to for some time. Really disappointed - especially as it was my first experience with a supposedly high quality online butcher.

The joint (saddle of venison) arrived well-packed and in the correct delivery slot. It was cooked exactly according to the recommended recipe, but the joint shrunk considerably, and as a result curled up and dried up during cooking. The final product was only just good enough to be served. I had expected better.

Delivered on time but not as requested. I asked for the legs to be removed in advance and this was not done. I also wanted the neck meat and I was told that this was not possible. Meat was fine but there isn't much point offering a bespoke service if you do not give customers want they want. I normally use a butcher so will do so next time as this didn't work out for me.
