Product was acceptable but I ordered for Christmas to be delivered on the 19th of December and sell by dates were 23rd December, so the pies had to be eaten before Christmas.

This time I was surprised after ordering rib of heritage beef to be told they could not tell me the breed or farm! Even more surprised to see the joint was slaughtered and processed by a Morrison’s Supermarket abattoir . The joint was fine but not worth over £120. Very disappointed with there attitude.

Good quality meat. Very little in the way of welfare credentials. Very poor business practices. Absolutely spammed with marketing junk in my email inbox and through my letterbox since ordering, despite not actively agreeing to anything as per GDPR laws. When half my order which I had already paid for wasn't available, they offered me a voucher! The absolute cheek!

Im very disappointed with bacon, streaking no taste at all, and the back bacon more fat than meat. i certainly will not buy your bacon again, much better in super market.

First time purchaser and disappointed with the Chateaubriand. Understood it to be a centre cut and of equal thickness. This wasn’t the case and made cooking to taste very difficult. I bought two joints and both were the same - see image.

the pork chops I ordered were quite tough and rather dry despite slow oven cooking with masses of apple and onion slices. Before I retired I was a professional Chef so know what I'm doing. The chops were a great disappointment so I shall not be ordering them again.

the standard of the joint of beef was no way as soft and lean as I normally use , considering the price I was very dissappointed

I purchased sirloin stakes last week, unfortunately the fat around the steak had gone off , black substance formed between the steak and the fat and smelled the whole house badly . I had to trim the fat before I cook them. I understand it was on a special deal but I wish this was mentioned at the time before I purchased 10 steaks for my visitors.

Ordered over £160 of meat and meat products, most was ok but the cuts of bellypork have the appearance of off cuts, not regular shaped. To me, at the price charged, this isn’t acceptable.

I’m a bit disappointed. Delivery was a day late due to problems with the delivery company, I was advised of this but not until late afternoon and I’d waited in all day. When the products arrived most of the cold packing had melted and the meat wasn’t as cold as I would have expected had it arrived when it was supposed to. My shoulder of lamb was fine but I was disappointed in the pork shoulder. Unlike both the online photo and the description of the breed there was very little fat on the joint, one of the reasons I buy from Farmison is because their meat usually has a good layer of fat. So on this occasion I was a bit disappointed; I would still buy from Farmison as usually both delivery and product is excellent, hopefully this was a one off.

Disappointed in how the product arrived. Short rib sliders where 1 big lump. Lamb koffta where also not well packed with the bottem half of each a difrent colour due to packaging. Not as per images at all.!!!

I'm quite disappointed. Brought 2 of these. One for me and one for my dad to have on father's day. I've cooked them and they are full of grisly fat running throughout it all. Considering the amount of money I payed I'm quite angry.

Hi I purchased the stuffed boned leg of lamb for Easter Sunday - a group of 7 people. Everyone was exited to try something new and different. Sadly the result did not live up to expectation. The meat was chewy, stuffing did not work, stayed very soggy and lamb meats were all mixed up unlike when you carve a joint you know what is what. Also purchased the quality beef portions recommended for Steak Tartar. We chose to pan fry - taste was not bad but it was hard work to eat. FYI we have out beef medium rare so it was not over cooked. Ordered twice from Farmison & Co. First order the quality of the meat was amazing but unfortunately 1 item was missing from the box. Customer services acted quickly and gave me a refund. For the second (and probably last) order the parcel was dropped in a "safe" space by ParcelForce. Despite being home they never rang my doorbell (pretending they did). ParcelForce fobbed me off, Farmison at first provided great service (calling me after my Tweets) but never followed up as they promised. I am now unfortunately some money down and will see if this can still be resolved. If not there's nothing left to do but to proceed with a charge back request to my bank to reverse the payment. I feel let down by both Farmison & ParcelForce despite the fact that Farmison's employees are incredibly nice and try to provide the best service possible. Quality of the food is great too but unfortunately ParcelForce can't be trusted.
