“Appears reasonably well made, although time will be the test here. I ordered a large in accordance with the sizing advice given but the jacket is too small to be worn as an outer jacket as intended and is also a little shorter than I had hoped. I have decided to retain it to use as a warm mid-layer rather than an outer layer. I think it should be fine in moderately cold conditions but it is quite thin and would not be suitable for more severe cold.”

“The item is 3 stars. It is worth the £50 but not the RRP. It is nice bit no where near as good as a North Face or Rab. What I want to highlight to any customer is the poor service by Field and Trek. Firstly they charged me twice and then they will not provide a telephone number. They force you to email them. This is really poor and stressful. The number on their website just constantly states it is not working due to a technical issue. As a result I will stay clear of Field and Trek until they provide a realistic customer service.”

“Not disappointed with Field & Trek's part of the purchase but with Yodel's. The tracking information they sent me said that the parcel was with the courier and was to be delivered on the 05/01/15 (it's the 08/01/15 today). I still haven't received the parcel and I'm not able to get a new delivery day confirmation, or rearrange delivery, as they can't do that until they have tried to deliver the package at least once (therefore the package has been with the courier since Monday and he still hasn't managed to attempt to deliver it four days later!) Dump Yodel and get a better, professional logistics company onboard!”

“Very disappointed with the walking boots that arrived 06.01.15 after ordering them 31.12.14 responding to a flash sale email. I returned these goods as, on opening them on the day of delivery I discovered them to be second hand, used goods. As could be easily see there is dirt / mud on the soles. The yellow ASOLO logo on the inner sole of the boot has been all but rubbed off by the heel of person that has walked in them for some considerable distance. They are very much not with the best will in the world, shop soiled goods but actually second hand significantly used boots. Am awaiting contact ( 08.01.14 ) to confirm that my cost of postage to return these faulty goods will be reimbursed and I will receive an offer of the choice of a complete reimbursement or replacement I am very upset by this passing off of used goods as new”

“Love the website, love the prices, hate Yodel. Can't comment on the goods because I haven't received them yet. The card suggested that they couldn't leave them with a Neighbours, yet our neighbour is a horse stables that ALWAYS has someone on hand. Why do companies still support Yodel??? Andrew Done”

“I shouldn't be complaining because picked up super bargain Salomon products that are genuine. Due to these being less than a 3rd of price I was wary of fakes but they seem perfect. Like any other sports direct company, my advice would be that you may pick up occasional genuine bargains otherwise service, order information, tracking etc. is ordinary.”
