“The Berghaus jacket was exactly as expected, good quality, sizing correct. It was delivered on time, as with previous orders. The only downside is that, as with previous orders, the email announcing that the goods had been dispatched actually arrived after the goods rendering it useless. It needs to be sent much earlier or there needs to be an extra email in the middle.”

“Great item and service but included within the pack was a selection of what can only be described as refuse, dressed up as freebies. Presumably this is more cost effective for them than sending for land fill? I'd rather go without the moronic England merchandise and absurdly sized Sports Direct mug next time thanks.”

“The bike is excellent, was easy to assemble and is great to ride. My husband is 6'4'' and it is a suitable frame size for him. The only niggle I had was that I paid extra for Saturday delivery but it was delivered on a Wednesday. Luckily our neighbor kindly took it in for us as I knew a mid week delivery would not be good for us. Other than that excellent product and very prompt delivery if not on the specified day.”

“Price in sale was a real bargain . excellent prompt delivery. Arrived 2 days after ordered and would have given 5 stars only one of the sandals still had a security tag attached. Difficult to make contact to explain problem but remedied by taking it to a local Sports direct store where they removed it safely.”

“Field And Trek are reasonably efficient and many of their items are good value. They only have a handful of shops around the UK, so for most of us our only option is to buy online (if you don't want to drive a hundred miles or more). They charge £4.99 for delivery for small orders, but their online prices are less than in their shops, so with the delivery charge it comes to about the same. I bought a backpack and they dispatched it 24 hours later. It arrived by Yodel courier in another two days, so total of three working days. Even though I only paid a total of less than £15, the courier wanted a signature. So don't buy if you're not normally at home to receive the delivery, as you won't get it if you're not there to sign.”

“The trousers are fine; delivery very swift. I just don't need a free gift of a huge, heavy mug from SportsDirect.com; all that unnecessary packaging! It's the opposite of a 'gift'.”

“Good points: fast delivery, with the delivery flagged up, good products at good prices. Bad point: the "out for delivery" alert only came when it was already out with the courier. Luckily I was at home that day, but if it had been a working in town day for me I would have already left and not been able to make any arrangements for neighbour/safe place etc.... Would be better sent the day before when it goes to the hub and expected delivery is the next day. Terrible point that makes me angry: please please please stop sending out those ridiculous Sports Direct mugs. I end up putting mine straight in the bin - contributing to landfill, adding to the weight of the parcel, totally unenvironmentally friendly. Can the free mug be made optional please? That way everybody will be happy! It makes me so annoyed it puts me off ordering again.....”

“I thought the delivery of my order could have been quicker, less convoluted, far too many stops before actually being sent on its way, for an item this small the PO is the speediest route, or is that too simple? I was informed it would be delivered on 13th which was a Saturday, I stayed in all morning then received a text saying it would be delivered within the next 2 working days...to my mind this doesn't mean Saturday, so I went out. However, later that day (Saturday) the delivery was made! Fortunately I was back indoors at the time. The item was well packed and I'm very please with everything about it. Enclosed was a free SportsDirect mug which is absolutely hideous, the size of a teapot, plastered with logo and is going directly to the charity shop...take a tip...no-one wants useless hideous free gifts, best to concentrate your efforts on speedier delivery and good service.”
