“Having been sent a garment with a security tag attached, I found that I could not phone the company to ask for help and could only email. The response to this was that I would get an answer within 1 to 5 days - possibly more at busy times. Not at all helpful just 6 days before Christmas! At the time of writing this, I have not had any response at all, 2 days later - very unhappy as will struggle to get a replacement now so close to the big day!!”

“Living in a rural location the service offered by Field and Trek is most helpful for those of us who enjoy outdoor pursuits. All my purchases over the years have been delivered sometimes next day but rarely longer than 2 days. The quality is excellent, my recent purchase not yet tested looks if it will do the job.”

“You can always rely on Field and Trek. They deliver quickly and also redeliver promptly if you have to exchange or return an item. They are very varied on the cost of items from the low cost, but good quality, to the more expensive. Whenever searching for either walking or running equipment field and trek is my first port of call.”

“This was a very cheap offer for thermal underwear. Arrived fairly quickly given the difficulties of the season. I ordered 2 pairs of ladies thermal pants and one short sleeve top but unfortunately one of the boxes marked "pants" contained a long sleeve top instead. Given the low price not keen to pay postage for a replacement so have kept the lot. At least I will now have nice warm arms!”

“The goods received were as described. No problem there. The problem was with customer service. In the midst of a frenzy of online Christmas shopping I accidently put the wrong house number on my order. Absolutely my fault. I quickly added up which house it would go to, and thought it was a nearby empty house - no possible retrieval of goods or delivery card. I immediately tried to contact F&T. They make it very difficult. You have to choose a category to use their contact form. The categories given just lead back to the faq. There is no 'other' option. I found an email address, but they did not answer, other than the automated response to say they will answer. There is no phone number on the website. Fortunately I had counted up house numbers wrong, and was able to retrieve my parcel from the occupied house it went to. Customer service is everything. I will not be using F&T again. Everything they sell is available elsewhere, with better service.”

“Overall pleased with the service. Delivery was reasonably priced, I have found it can be quite expensive to send items to Spain. The only thing that could have been improved on was the notification the item had been despatched. I received an email acknowledging receipt of the order but it then took a couple of days to advise of despatch even though when I checked on the courier's website it had been collected much earlier. This was the only thing I could fault and had the communication been prompter then I would have had no hesitation to rate the service very good.”

“Two items arrived broken. In itself a little annoying but these things do happen. What is galling is that they expect you to pay the return costs when they've sent you an item that is broken or doesn't work. A big part of the problem is that Field and Trek use YODEL for deliveries. My 'next day delivery' has often turned up several days late and been stated as delivered when it hasn't. Complaining to YODEL gets you nowhere at all. Not even a reply to my emails or complaints submitted through their website. Field and Trek just blame YODEL when you contact them, but listen up Field and Trek, you employ YODEL so you need to take some responsibility or use somebody that does the job properly. It's your reputation that suffers too.”
