“I have now used First Tutors a second time for my daughter. I have been delighted with both tutors I've found for her. The fee is reasonable, the skype lesson is very efficient; the second tutor is local and comes to the house which is wonderful. The price charged per lesson is also just right for me and my daughter enjoys her lessons. My only problem has been with confusion using the site to find the second tutor: as it was for a different subject, I didn't understand that it seems like the same site but it's a kind of "sister site" which made logging on often very confusing. I never quite understood the issue or if I needed a new log-in etc, and I always managed to log on in the end but it took longer. Overall I am very happy indeed with the system”

“I wanted a Spanish tutor for my son and didn't know of any companies or sites. I put into Google "Spanish tutor in my area" and 3 days later my son was sat at the table with a fabulous tutor who only lived 2 miles away. I think the First Tutor fees should be stated on their Home Page rather than seeing them a few steps down the line, just so that this cost can be factored in immediately, but other than that it was straightforward and seamless, I'm very happy.”

“Have got 2 ongoing tutors for "A-levels" as our daughter needs to improve one poorly taught subject and maintain another as she requires 3A's. The 2 tutors found by your company seem to be very good / exceptional , however it is early days, but so far so good.”
