“Got quick replies from tutors before we chose our current tutor. Reasonable rate but what I don't like is you have to purchase a tutor's details. Some initial exchange about time and location should at least be allowed because it helps the parents choose and make arrangements. It is also too early to ask for a review”

“Some good tutors on your system. The only think I would say is that it's not very clear in the beginning what your options are as far as payment goes and what you can do...a bit convoluted.”

“I found a few tutors here. I recommend that not to use reviews as the only source of judging a tutor's quality of teaching since I have had tutors who have a lot of excellent reviews but do not teach so well and tutors who have only a few reviews but teach much better.”

“Overall a its a good website to use as there are so many tutors to choose from.the only disadvantage is that your paying for the lessons which are quite expensive anyway plus you have to pay on the website before you can even arrange a lesson with a tutor. All to expensive in my opinion.”

“The good thing about Victoria is she has the ultimate patience which a language teacher must have. Her lessons are in a relaxing atmosphere which does not put the student under stress. These may sound like what a language should already have but I had an experience of running into a one who does not possess any of these. The only problem we had is having to change the location of our lesson when we met outside. Besides everything was perfect.”

“First Tutors offers a good service for finding a Tutor. However, it is very much up to the Tutors what they tell about their experience and methods and therefore the responsibility of the Tutee to choose one that fits his/her requirements. The process of choosing a Tutor and signing up for the first lesson is smooth and works well.”
