“First Tutors is very good for collecting a large quantity of information regarding Teacher's and displaying this in an easily viewable way... The messaging system is a good feature, with a timetable showing tutor availability and your's though I had some experience of censorship when it came to writing to my Tutors. To avoid this perhaps it should be made more obvious that the £7.99 one-off fee needs to be paid up front before you start to converse with your teacher, otherwise you cannot exchange simple and vital details such as dates and times. Apart from this minor issue of clarity, I found the site to be very helpful and have since found a tutor that I get on with very well!”

“Daniella was very informative lady. She managed to explain things in a simple manner for an adult whom has been out of education for 15 years to understand. She was patient and understanding and gave me time to work things out and helped and teached when needed. I Would definitely recommend her to anyone who needed some extra help or lots of help in my case.”

“I found this site reasonably easy to use and I had quite quick responses from the tutors that I'd contacted. The fee to release Tutor's details is a little steep in comparison to other sites but the tutor we are now using seems very good.”

“Overall I think that the concept is great. I have found 2 subject tutors for my daughter in preparation for her AS exams. The only issue I have is with the introductory fee which I found was too high at £24.99 per tutor. I believe it should be more affordable or perhaps a discount for a 2nd introduction?”

“It made it easy to find someone relatively near to me, who you can chat to through the website, which made sorting out availability easy. However you do have to pay a fee of £7.99 to get the tutors email/phone no./address which I presume the website gets? Which is not loads, but I guess it's either that or millions of adverts!”

“Difficult to find through search engine but contacted through word of mouth . Clear detailing of tutors available but was little confused at how to contact tutor initially . Had to ask the actual tutor how to respond but once found out it was fine . Once paid the initial fee it was plain sailing from then on . Thank you”
