“Was able to find a reputable tutor very close to our area. The distance indicator and whether the tutor traveled or not was very clear. Quick Response rate was very much appreciated and tutors asked relevant questions to check if they fit the tutee's requirement. The description and profile is very important to review whether they teach the relevant syllabus.”

“My Son needed to do different A level outside School. We choose Sociology because there was no AS requirement. (He was able to take this exam within a year.) We choose Lisa as a Tutor and I would recommend her without hesitation. She is a qualified teacher that taught A level Sociology. She had all the notes, questions, past papers and knew which books to use. She is also an Examiner marking A level Sociology and therefore really knew how to answer questions. Lisa was very thorough about learning the case studies. This is essential according to my son. Lisa is conscientious, pleasant and dependable. We are delighted that after 5 months of working together my son achieved a B. This is definitely something he would not have achieved without Lisa’s excellent help. This grade has allowed my son to go to University with his peers.”

“I found this an excellent site if you are looking for one to one tutors, rather than having to arrange evening classes for a child who has already spent most of the day at school, and a huge bill to pay. First Tutors allows you to pick a tutor to suit your requirements, and once a tutor has accepted your request, you can get to know them or at lest have an idea of what they can be with your child. You can tailor your preferences and requirements. I am very impressed with First Tutors, it's be the answer to my prayers.”

“Great service it's straightforward to use the website and you can see the profiles of qualified tutors. I was contacted initially by all 3 tutors that I was interested in within 24 hours. I made my choice and it was a quick and easy transaction for the one off introductory payment to see my chosen tutors contact details. I was contacted by tutor almost immediately after that payment and we had a discussion about my sons requirements for study. Overall very impressed so far, would recommend.”
