The location is great. The space is good. However, some of the staff are a bit rude. They are not really helpful when it comes to information about the space and how it should be used. They don’t give you a lot of information verbally and a lot of the emails such as agreements are quite overloaded to properly intake all of the information. There are a lot of additional costs for minor things.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible customer service. The staff were extremely rude, in particular Jay and the manager Michael, I can't say about other staff as it would be unfair to do so. From the day I began my contract with them they were extremely unfriendly, blunt, and just plain rude. It was such a shame as from the beginning I had interacted with them in a respectful manner and with politeness from the get go but was met with hostility and disrespect. I also saw on various occasions them being rude to new customers enquiring about their services. Not sure why the arrogance and attitude is necessary really. If they are that unhappy about their jobs in customer service, then simply change their field of work. Normally I wouldn't write a review about a company if the experience was a one off (we all have our bad days), but after being treated with such a lack of respect time and time again and after seeing the way they had treated other customers right in front of me I think an honest review is due.

So sorry we haven't created a good impression with you. We have reviewed all matters associated with your term of stay with us and spoken with the individuals named. We will strive to improve and take your comments very seriously. It is unusual for the guys to receive this type of feedback, and we can assure you they have taken constructively. Some element of the communication seems to revolve around the vacation process, this separately is being reviewed and improved. If we can ever make amends, we would like to.
Terrible service very expensive there are cheaper more proffesional outfits I would recommend using them instead Google is a great tool don't be overcharged by this unprofessional outfit.

Came across this company by chance as I was on google maps, made contact, through Chat, and spoke to an assistant requesting prices. After an extensive conversation, all relevant details provided, I was informed that “I’ll be contacted by another person for provide me with costs”. ‘Sade’, sent a message requesting ALL INFORMATION already provided earlier in the morning with a colleague. At work, busy, I requested that she/he consult the previous Chat made as all information are there. I just wanted a price. No prices on page. Good information regarding sizes of “storage” etc. and was able to choose the required size of box, but no prices in sight. Half morning spent just requesting a price, nothing else. No joy as ‘Sade’ was very insistent that I repeat my requirements, again, for her benefit. What a waste of a morning. Luckily, there are many other such facilities available, that would appreciate that other people must work too!

Thank you for feedback which have escalated for process review. We have been trialling out of hours tools to expedite information to customers when the store closed. We understand where they are failing and will improve. We have 20 different room sizes so try hard to match customers to the best value. Often this requires an exchange of information to get "just right" Sorry if this process felt elongated. We don't like to just quote a rate, as we often find we can save customers money.
Too many hidden charges. License fee! Entry fob! Extortionate insurance!!!! And to top it off, very very rude, completely unprofessional staff.

When I initially discussed and booked the storage unit over the phone I wasn't advised of the compulsory extortionate insurance fee. Have been waiting almost 2 weeks for a refund. Not offered any compensation or explanation for the delay other than bank holidays. Even taking bank holidays into account refund still delayed. Advised it can take up to 2 weeks, even though all other companies manage to refund within a couple of days. Very dissatisfied.

All I can say I have been let down badly by storage world. I work away a lot of the time. So a lot of the Communication was done by email and telephone calls. A week before I got told that I need to sort some ID and bills to prove who I was, Bear in mind I’m closer to France than Manchester. Anyway had all the removal guy ready to go for the moving in date and had to cancel because there was no leeway With the ID. Which means. I have got a flat full furniture Worth over 3000 pound which will end up going to the trip

I had a very pleasant experience with the staff who work at Flexispace. Universally they were friendly and efficient. This earns an extra star. However, my storage unit was flooded in September when Manchester suffered a deluge of rain one evening. The items stored in my unit suffered flood damage. Therefore, I don't recommend that anyone use the ground floor of this facility. I took out the 'in house' insurance cover at an exorbitant price of £9 per week for £10K of cover. I paid this for over 2 years. When I came to make a claim for the items that have been damaged I have had a very poor claims experience. It is almost 3 months later, my letters are being ignored and I haven't received settlement for a very straightforward claim. Not what I expected. For the premium price I paid I expected a premium service on making a claim. With hindsight the unit I had was very expensive. 110ft of storage space at over £200 per month. I now have a much bigger unit with Big Yellow Storage at a far lower price and was given my first two months at half price. Anyone storing at Flexispace must inform their insurer that the premises have been subject to flooding or their insurance cover is likely to be invalid. For the reasons I have outlined above I am unable to recommend Flexispace - find somewhere that doesn't flood and offers better insurance cover for a lower price.

Thank you for your feedback of FLEXiSPACE. Clearly the general storage experience worked well and it was simply the events of September 13th that effected most of Manchester that caused concern (see link below). We too are disappointed with the duration taken by the insurance company specific to your claim. We have held a detailed conference call with them and understand that we both acted promptly and correctly. The delay is theirs alone - something they intend to ensure doesn't reoccur (little comfort to you) They did indicate that matters are all resolved and to your satisfaction, the only issue being the time taken (60-days) The freak conditions of 13/09/2016 we would hope never to be repeated yet we have undertaken some additional works where we can to mitigate. Our assessment rating for flood is at the lowest possible level. We enjoyed your custom and positive feedback when meeting. They should provide boxes to store properly for fragile items. Small space with expensive cost.

We have two box sizes available in our box shop along with bubble wrap, furniture protectors, tape and all manner of packaging materials - sorry this wasn't made available to you. We also have 20 different room sizes, so if you need a larger room, please speak to a storage adviser on 0161 274 4777 - we try to encourage customers not to use space they don't need, so if you need smaller we also have lockers?
Excellent space. We have an office space, storage unit and yard space. Brilliant friendly team and very well priced.

Paid to park here and ended up being blocked in after being assured that nothing would be parked in front of us. Went to speak to the attendant who simply blamed the team who was in charge earlier in the day and said it was nothing to do with him. Will avoid at all costs in the future!

Sorry to hear you were blocked in at the end of the Coldpaly concert. We have 4 guys on site who try and manage every car into its space, but at peak times some exuberant concert goings are less considerate than others. We have had three concerts so far this month, nearly 700 vehicles parked and know 3 have had some form of obstruction. We have spoken with the guys that manage event parking and working on improvements to get this number back to zero. Sorry to spoil the end of your night, we hear it was an amazing gig!
The team at Flexispace were very helpful in assessing the unit size we would need, they even arranged removals at the same time! The building is clean and modern, we have found the whole experiance very good and would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate using their services again.

I own a small manufacturing business in Bolton and recently had need of extra storage space for a few months during a particularly busy spell. One of our suppliers urged that I contact Flexispace as he'd used them on two previous occasions and had been very impressed. Having followed his advice, I can now say that I wholeheartedly agree! From the very outset of my dealings with them, they were helpful, efficient and courteous, even when it transpired that I'd underestimated the storage space I'd need, which entailed them having to do some last-minute swapping and changing with our arrangements. They may be on the wrong side of Manchester for me, but their location is very easy to access, and the level of service I've received has made the extra few miles more than worth it. I highly recommend them!

We enjoy the ease of access to the equipment in our storage. Due to the close proximity and the ability to access out of hours, the store is perfect for us. As an events company, we often need access at all hours and over Bank Holiday so this access is imperative for us. The staff are always keen to accommodate and most recently, our new storage unit is our best one yet as the layout of the store allows us to utilise the space more efficiently. Very minor improvement would be regarding the post on the main gate when exiting. It is in a difficult position too far over so you always need to get out of your vehicle to fob to open the gate and exit. I can provide an image shortly.
