Absolutely appalling company, DO NOT USE FONEGIANT. I ordered a phone in August, which was not in stock. They sent the wrong phone with half the GB memory I ordered in October as a replacement, without any refund (granted, there was a misunderstanding and I take partial responsibility for that), so I returned the phone to them as advised. They received it 2 weeks ago and still haven't sent a replacement, and they do not respond to phone calls or email. They are refusing to refund me the £170 I paid in August (it's now November and I still do not have a phone), because it has been 'more than 14 days since I ordered' - even though it was almost 2 months before they sent the (wrong) phone! Shocking customer service. I still do not have a phone, and I have not been refunded either.

I bought a tablet from this company which was scratched severely. I returned it and never got a refund. Despite various times asking for refund. I was asked to send proof of return, which I did and said payment would be released. I never recieved payment and was repeatedly told the same thing. I never got a refund and just gave up. Do not use this company, who are thieves

An over payment was made in August. They keep promising a refund of the over payment, but now in December still nothing has been received. My e-mails are not responded to, and they never answer the phone. Absolutely terrible service. It would not surprise me if this shower of a company had gone bust

They sent me a faulty phone and when I returned it and tried to get a replacement or money back they sent me this: Our technician have examined the phone in details We have noticed the screen and Home button have been replaced and the phone have been tempered with. This void the warranty completely and we believe using PayPal claim process is unfair and not justifiable However we are willing to offer refund but we have minus the cost of the repair needed for this phone We hope to resolve this issue as soon as possible Looking for forward to hear from you - M&C Solutions (UK) LTD, Wednesday, 28 June 2017 at 15:25:57 No sense at all just a scam!

I ordered a Blackberry Classic, which was described on the FoneGiant website as 'unlocked' with delivery in 1-2 days. As I needed the phone to arrive quickly, I thought this phone would be perfect. After a week, however, it hadn't arrived. I contacted FoneGiant by e-mail and was told that the phone was actually locked and they were waiting for an unlock code. It therefore took two weeks for the phone to arrive. I've asked FoneGiant to compensate me for misdescribing the item and the late arrival, but they have refused to do so, stating that 'delays can happen'. But the item was misdescribed, and I bought it under false pretences as it wasn't unlocked at the point of purchase. As a result, I would not buy from them again.

I purchased a refurbished smartphone from fonegiant yesterday. Today I have received an email from someone, unconnected with fonegiant except that he has also bought a phone from fonegiant. Well, it seems fonegiant has sent someone else my phone with my details included in the packaging! A simple error perhaps of putting the phone in the wrong package, but seriously, my 5 year old can match up cards with the right envelope. How hard can it be?

Ordered a phone that was described as being in Immaculate Condition (A). When it arrived it has a chip in the centre of the screen - easy to see, and a charger for another brand. Went on line on the chat facility - no one answered. Phoned up - answerphone. Called again only to be told that he didn't deal with this and that I need to send an email. Two emails sent - no reply to date. Not impressed!!!

Fonegiant are by far the best i have come across welldone to the team i have bought number of phones from them and very good condition like brand new. Fone giant has the thumbs up for me i would defo recommend fone giant too anyone and such a good service.Thankyou Fonegiant

Absolutely appalling experience with FoneGiant. I purchased a second hand device from them in decent working order. Within a few months it had completely broken, apparently caused by a known defect in a very specific LG model (the one they sold me). LG customer support they could do nothing because it is bought second hand. So I contact fonegiant support asking to see their warranty. They respond EXTREMELY SLOWLY (sometimes taking weeks/ months at a time) eventually assuring me that LG will repair the device. This is incorrect advice. I continue to pursue things with fonegiant, at which point they tell me the warranty has expired and can do nothing for me. To be clear - this was months after I first ask to see the warranty pertaining to my device (to which I had no response) and after them evidently stalling over several emails. FoneGiant have scammed money from me. Diabolical customer service after providing me with a faulty phone, then purposefully wasting time until after your 'warranty' expires (which you STILL haven't shown me) is extreme malpractice. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I placed an order for an 'immaculate' Sony Xperia XA on February 27th 2017 (Order #100006383). The phone came with a coupe of scratches on the sides and on the main camera -which made most photos look blurry. After 3 months, some of the pixels on the screen started to appear a bit darker, like "burned". On the fourth month the phone screen was practically 'burned' on both sides. Also, the camera started failing to focus and on occasion, the phone got stuck while taking a photo and I had to restart it. I contacted Fonegiant regarding these issues and shipped the phone over to them, but they replied that 'this was caused due to heat damage, sun or heat source and it is not covered under warranty and I have voided my warranty so the item will be shipped back to me'. I never let my phone close to any kind of heat source or the sun and always kept in on a case in other protected areas inside my bag. Fonegiant just stopped replying to my e-mails after that point. I am very disappointed with the purchase and customer service as I am currently stuck with an 'immaculate refurbished' phone with burned screen, blurry photos which often gets stuck.

Dear Customer The screen had Yellow patches allover the LCD As this comes under physical damage it cannot be covered by warranty as warranty only covers internal failures Best regards

The phone was described as "grade B, 8/10". It is covered in chips to the rear and around the bezel, and the battery is defective, only holding about 66% capacity. I will never ever buy from Fonegiant again.

Please beware of this company. On Saturday 22/07/2017 I purchased a phone via their website, the money was removed from my paypal account immediately . The phone was sold as next day delivery. On the following Tuesday the phone still hadn't arrived so I phoned them to enquire. I was told that the phone was out of stock so I could choose a different phone. I asked if I had not contacted them, would they gave contacted me to inform me of this. I also asked to speak to the manager, (I was informed it was as Ali Khan) he apparently was not available for me to speak to! Please beware of this company.

Terrible service and experience. Phone broke down within four months. Called to confirm under warranty. Advised to send phone in whilst under warranty. When followed up informed not under warranty and will not be fixed. Manager would not call me back.

It's a money scam! Don't use I ordered an iPhone it arrived with a broken middle button, I sent it back that day and asked for a replacement. Over a week later they replied via PayPal (after numerous attempts to get an informative response via email and phone), they replied "I will only refund a small refund (-£100) of the original amount, as I had replaced the middle button and screen? why would I do that?!!! Won't give me a working phone or my money!!

The telephone I purchased was described as 9 out of 10 immaculate. I anticipate if I had immediately taken this to somebody purchasing the condition would have been much lower, max in my opinion 7 out of 10. I would never have bought a product in this condition as I want a decent phone, the telephone had 3 scratched on the screen one which was central and deep. Although the phone was described as refurbished, by the dirt showing when the back was removed it clearly was not. To add insult to injury I had to pay to return this rubbish. My advice is to avoid. The refund was dealt with promptly.

I ordered an 'immaculate' phone; it was far from immaculate - it was scratched on the back and has chips all over the front. I messaged fone giant who seemingly thought I was enquiring to buy so they responded immediately with links to their store etc. When I explained that I had already made a purchase that was not as advertised they have completely ignored me. It's been a week now with no contact. Save up the extra and buy brand new from someone reputable, I won't buy 'refurbished' ever again.

This phone for a start was in unacceptable condition. i knew that i was buying a grade C phone. but this was more like grade E condition. Recently I have noticed the vibrate function doesn't even work. Today, the phone ran out of battery. When i turned it on, it came up with an error message saying HTC sense has stopped working. This is the 3rd time this has happened since I bought the phone. Every time a factory reset has to be done and I lose all my data on my phone. Please advise how i can return this phone for a refund, or a swap for a working phone. even if i need to pay extra.

The phone was sold as being in 8.5 out of 10 condition. Was it heck. Couple of deep scratches on screen, cracked casing in 3 places, poorly fitting rear cover, intermittent headphone jack AND charging port. Some heavy handed oaf has clearly had a go at fixing the phone up. Yes it works but they charged a lot for it and were quite deceptive about phones actual condition.

I ordered my red iPhone on 12th April but no acknowledgement so emailed asking why as they took the money. They said it wasn’t working and assured it’s on its way. I recieved a BLACK phone full of cellotaped hairs of which I took a picture and asked why and how? Three days of supposedly investigation took place and many emails on my part where eventually they said they will replace of I send as well as postage fees. I returned it yet still to date no phone and no refund! I was then given an invalid tracking number and now that has been yet another week and still nothing! At this point I lost my patience and demanded they correct it. Refund my postage fir their error and send the phone I paid for! I instead get postage back and they claim they refunded my postage but they have not! They claim they couldn’t send correct phone as none on stock yet the phone is there but increased by £20! Leads me to believe they intentionally sent the wrong colour and lied throughout! I am livid and raised a dispute with paypal and warming everybody not to shop at this obviously fraudelent company! Unless of course you are happy to be taken for a fool and stolen from! They simply do not care!! I wouldn’t be surprised if they collect monies this way from us victims and close the company!!!

Bought my refurbished phone from fonegiant - very good price, good condition. After a few weeks it stopped charging properly, I contacted fonegiant and they suggested a few things I could try but when they failed they sent me a free post label and asked me to send it back. It took a couple of weeks but I got it back this morning all working perfectly, plus they sent me a new charger free of charge. Having read some of the other negative reviews about after sales service I am very pleased and impressed.
