“I firstly bought Kombucha ready bottled and tried it out for a couple of months. The bottles are 1/2 litres so have 1/2 of one of these bottles a day with breakfast. I was really impressed with the quality of the Kombucha and became convinced it was doing me a lot of good. I decided to make my own and bought a 5 litre Kilner Jar which has a tap on the bottom from my local CoOp and bought everything else needed from Freshly Fermented. I followed the instructions on the Freshly Fermented web site is and now enjoy my own Kombucha every day and it tastes the same as my previous bought bottles. Quality of everything bought from FF has been excellent. A couple of things to keep in mind are, if you start off buying bottles, keep the bottles, you will need them if you start making your own. FF recommend using filtered or bottled water. 5 litres of bottled water in my local supermarket costs £1.20. In our nearest Tesco's it costs £1.10. This is more than enough to last me 2 weeks. “The whole experience was very good, the delivery prompt and the website gave me all the necessary information to get started. It has been so successful that I'm now enjoying my own daily kefir and the starter has multiplied to such an extent I've been able start a further batch to pass on to my daughter. I can, from my experience thoroughly recommend Freshly Fermented....”

“It's difficult to say. Because of the postage situation the ginger beer plant was delayed and when I started fermentation it didn't work and I threw it away. So I don't know just how good it could have been.”

“All the ferment starters I have purchased have worked beautifully. I love the Bulgarian yoghurt, it is the best yoghurt. The alaskan sourdough starter is producing lovely bread and crumpets. I would have no hesitation in recommending freshly fermented. Packaging was excellent and instructions easy to follow, my Kombucha scoby is producing like mad, will be giving some to family and friends. I am so enjoying the whole process of fermenting. I owe this obsession to listening to Liz Earle. Thank you.”

“Ordered ,three to five days later goods arrived. I had a self caused problem rang up asked to leave phone number ,five to ten minutes later phoned me back and fixed problem that's why five out of five. Mjg.”
