“Great cultures, good prices and instructions, and fast delivery considering the current environment. Since they are heirloom cultures they can be used indefinitely, but will be ordering again when I want to try something new!”

“How I enjoy my yogurt With organic whole milk this makes the best yogurt I've ever had. I like it with a drizzle of honey and a few flaked almonds for a pre-bedtime snack most days but it also makes wonderful raita and adds a creaminess to curries.”

“On the basis of one order, this is an excellent company. The information was clear & accurate, my one query was answered promptly & helpfully & the soya yogurt culture has performed perfectly (even without a yogurt maker). The delivery was quick, even during the coronavirus lockdown.”

“I ordered some sourdough starters from them. They were quite delayed in being sent out but given the lockdown, you have to cut them some slack! They eventually arrived in the post (by which time I had also managed to start my own!) and I've been able to make some good loaves with the San Francisco starter. I haven't yet used the other one. The instructions on the website are very useful. I would order from these guys again.”

“This was the first time I had ordered kefir grains. The instructions were easy to follow and I am now producing enough kefir for my personal needs. Freshly Fermented informed me there would be a delay because if the Coronavirus disruption. Never the less, my order arrived in good time and I was up and running producing kefir that day. I will order from Freshly Fermented again!”

“I have been really impressed with Freshly Fermented. I purchased the Turmeric Bug and we are on our third batch now and it is really good. I have also recently purchased a further supply of Kefir grains as our old ones were becoming a bit troublesome and these new grains are giving us brilliant creamy kefir. So much better than any shop brought so thank you so much.”

“I bought a San Francisco sourdough, Balkan yogurt & 7 pot yogurt maker for me; plus a kefir kit for my wife. They came fairly quickly even during the Covid lockdown and all work well. Though I’ve had more success making yogurt than getting a decent sourdough loaf! The last 2 suffered soggy bottoms :-(”
