“I ordered the Organic Kombucha scoby and live rye sourdough culture and since they arrived about a month ago, both have thrived. I have more kombucha than I can drink and the breads I made are beautiful crusty loaves. I used the recipes on the website for some but also tried other sites- the sourdough and kombucha work with different kinds of flours and tea. I am a little lazy so I really like the Dutch Oven No Knead recipe on the freshly fermented page!”

“I bought the white sourdough starter and fed it for two days before using it as it had been in the fridge. It worked beautifully and the first sourdough loaf I baked was lovely. Full of flavour and a great consistency. Brilliant. Sourdough is not instant but it is worth the effort to get really good bread”

“Absolutely delighted with my heirloom Greek yoghurt culture. Making delicious and consistent batches of thick and creamy yoghurt without needing to strain. It beats using even the best supermarket yoghurt as a starter culture. Very very happy to have discovered Freshly Fermented.”

“How I enjoy my yogurt With organic whole milk this makes the best yogurt I've ever had. I like it with a drizzle of honey and a few flaked almonds for a pre-bedtime snack most days but it also makes wonderful raita and adds a creaminess to curries.”
