“I looked into many of the other Pet Insurance options and found that Furkin was the best suited, with fair rates for my new puppy. I'm hoping to never need it, but if I do, I am hopeful the claims will be just as easy as the enrollment process. 🤞”

“I have only just signed up with Furkin, so I really don't have anything to say about the company or about their insurance. Once I have received my policy and I begin to work with them, I can certainly say more. The sign-up process was all done online and was super easy. If this were to rate the sign-up process alone, I would give a 5. Just don't wish to commit to a 5 for everything when I haven't done anything but sign up!”

“When I called to find out how to file a claim when my cat was sick, I was beside myself. The people I spoke with were unbelievably kind and really helped me navigate what needed to be done. Once the claim was in, there were a couple bumps getting all the information to you, but the claim was paid within 10 days of me sending it. I am already recommending this company to people I know who have pets, whether they have insurance or not. I am so pleased that this was a relatively painless process and that when my policy said there was 80% coverage it was actually 80%, not like a % of each item up to a set amount (if that makes sense?) Thank you, Furkin, for delivering on your promise as outlined in my policy.”

“The registration process was straight forward and easy. Read the policy closely and cost and coverage seem excellent. Only concern relative to other providers is what is called "associated conditions" when it comes to pre-existing conditions that won't be covered. Depending how "associated conditions" are interpreted when making a claim, this could prove problematic if interpreted very broadly. Time will tell.”

Our Care Team is always happy to jump at any questions a pet owner may have about our Furkin coverage, but we’d love to take a moment here to help clarify. Our goal is to always be transparent so that members have the best experience possible with their Furkin Pet Insurance Policy throughout their lifetime with us 💜 We, like most other pet insurance providers, do not cover associated conditions, and we aim to give examples to pet parents on how pre-existing conditions impact coverage. Associated conditions, in short, are any medical condition or complication arising from another primary condition. For example, a pet parent may know their dog has allergies as a pre-existing condition due to a prior vet visit with an infected paw from chewing, but not realize that allergies can have other symptoms such as ear infections which are almost always caused by allergies. If allergies were a pre-existing (and therefore ineligible) condition, a future ear infection may therefore also be ineligible. In some cases, the exam notes from your veterinarian will help discern the relation. We hope this helps clarify associated conditions, but if you ever have any questions about whether or not a claim will be eligible for your pet, please email or give our Care Team a call.

“Enrollment for Furkin Pet Insurance was not hard at all. I did talk to a Customer Service Rep prior to enrolling, and she was extremely helpful in giving me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. Hopefully, if I ever have to make a claim, it will be as straightforward!”

“I called Furkin a couple of times and the two people who helped me were great, very friendly and cleared my questions. One of those times was actually to review the price charged. I subscribed online and when I checked the price, I was charged more than I thought I should. So I called you right after getting the insurance and the person I spoke to, confirmed there were some error and I was actually charged more than the current quote, so she canceled my insurance and created a new one to me, which is now with the accurate price.”
