I ordered a wardrobe from this place. Never came after a month and a half, I called and they said it would be here a week later, but it wasn't. I asked for a refund in August. 4 months later I'm still waiting for my money. Don't loose your money here like I have. Go somewhere else!!

We too got stung by the company to the tune of £645.72. Cannot get our money back. Thankfully Mastercard are fighting the case for us. Order placed at beginning of Oct, and like other customers we have been fed a series of lies. Quite by chance we discovered that when the supplier of the product we had ordered telephoned the company to say that it had arrived in the UK, and that on payment they would release it to Furniture UK for delivery, Furniture UK cancelled the order. I imagine that they would then have contacted us and said that there were to be no more deliveries to the UK until after Christmas ---- which would have been the case having let this order go. It is outrageous that they are still trading. Although have never had problems with online purchases in the past - I do feel particularly wary of doing so again. Disgruntled of London.

I had to lodge a dispute with PayPal because this company was not refunding my money as a result of a cancelled order. Apart from accepting my order Furniture UK were a nightmare to deal with. Calls and emails not answered, or providing false information. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I notice that their Facebook page is not no longer available, I presume because of a lot of the comments on it relating to poor service.

Do not touch this company. I placed my order back in October with a promise that it will be delivered within 7 days. I wasn't receiving any updates so I have decided to contact them...funny enough it went straight onto the voice mail. When I finally got through I have been told that the stock will be arriving next week, and then next week...and then I just said enough, I am cancelling my order and want my money back. This was last week, and I still haven't received my money. I am really upset by this as it never happened to me before.

Ordered white headboard 9 days ago still not heard a thing! Don't use this site! Cancelled with my credit card company! Will be in touch with police!

After many weeks waiting for delivery, (way passed the promised date) I cancelled the order and received a cheque for £494. This bounced with no explanation. Numerous calls and emails have resulted in no progress. Fortunately, I paid with a credit card so this is covered under Section 75 of the CCA.

Have ordered several items from this company and they have not been delivered despite stating they were in stock, they are not answering phone - it goes straight to ansaphone and no-one responds to messages and they are not returning emails. If they have gone into liquidation I am going to be very very miffed as they were quite happy to take my money

Do not order from this company. I am in the same boat as the others. Ordered items at the beginning of October but they have not been delivered. No reply to emails or calls. The website should be taken down immediately so no one else wasts their money. Wish I had looked at thos before ordering. Lesson learnt !

The unit was delivered, however a door hinge was broken. The after care service has been appalling! We have emailed a number of times and has tried to contact Furniture UK by phone - always there was just a answer phone on. We left messages, however no response has been received by phone or email. We have not been sent a replacement hinge either! I dread to think what position we would happen been in had the unit bee seriously damaged! I could not recommend Furniture UK to anyone else as although we were satisfied with the unit other than the broken hinge, the poor, non existent, after care service is such a risk.

Please please go not Order from this website...I have been also scammed of £677.16!! I was so pleased when I found an entire set at the perfect size at such slow price when I ordered on august 20th. I was told 5-15 days. It has now been 75 days....nothing! Constantly fobbed off that my order is too big and they are "trying to find a reliable courier to bring my large items to me in good condition" no answer when I call and no response on email. Have been informed by my bank I will get my money back eventually thank god but these criminals must be stopped! Still living out of suitcases and have to now trust somewhere else which will be hard!! Melissa from Hove

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE......... Seems I am not alone with my problem. Ordered furniture to the valu of £365 beginning of October. Received email informing me that delivery would be within 5-7 working days. 10 working days later tried calling only for number to ring out to answer phone, despite leaving numerous messages and several emails no one is responding. 1 email I got told me that delivery would be the following week.....did not appear....I'm afraid to say that it looks like I have been duped by a bogus site. I will be contacting trading standards and police to investigate.

Ordered bookshelves 3 weeks ago - delivery promised in 5 to 10 days - nothing yet. Customer phone number goes straight to message service, no response from many calls and emails. Do not buy from this lot.

Do not deal with company, I ordered furniture from them, but cancelled it after they messed me around with excuses on delivery, but I have tried everything to get my £293.40p back and have had no luck, I am very upset and angry that I have been ripped off like this and that they can get away with it, and it doesn't look like I am the only one that has been treated like this, they have effectively stole my money.

Ordered Chelsea bedside cabinet & 6 draw chest online. Paid in full on 25th July and website stated 5-10 working days for delivery. After 2 weeks rang customer services, told to await delivery instuctions etc etc, rang and emailed almost every day to be fobbed off. It wouldn't fit on the van? it was a failed collection? it was a failed delivery (although no courier card through our door whilst we were at work unaware that it was coming..it never did that day!) Finally after 7 weeks the items arrived, no notice and were left by the bin. All three boxes were mangled, had masking tape to reseal them and had bright yellow stickers on saying 'damaged'! Contacted Furniture UK to request replacements... to be told to send photo;s.. Did this and still heard nothing for a further few days. Asked for some form of compensation, offered £10 still waiting... Eventually, we rang trading standards and on advice threatened legal action, although this didn't work. Told by the manager 'Sophie' that this was the first she had heard about our case?? We have since waited another 7 weeks, been given various delivery dates, and told that a new courier service would collect our replacement items (forgot to say that the originals were seriously chipped on the end panels ) from London. Finally, I will bring this to a close now as I am bored myself!! our date for delivery was this week. Rang TMF logistics, who said they had tried to collect our items, along with lots of other Furniture UK orders from the supplier Ideal Furniture. The reason nothing is being released from Ideal furniture is that Furniture UK have not paid for any of their orders!! Funny that prices have gone up on the website.... We have decided to assemble my poor son's bedroom furniture and touch it up with marker pen, as he has waited so long! We are not hopeful of the replacements ever arriving, and are taking this to the small claims court. I feel stupid for ordering online from these cowboys, but the chest was the width we wanted. I want to warn anyone thinking of ordering from these people DONT because they are CHEATING LIARS !!!!!!!!!!!!! Angry mum Deb 29th Oct 2014

This is the first time I have been motivated by such bad customer service to spend my time writing a review. We ordered a bookcase in June. Furniture UK informed us that it was currently not in stock but would be in the next few weeks; fine, we thought, at least we know. It was eventually back in stock in mid-August, two months after the original order. Delivery by Friday we were told. Never arrived. Furniture UK blamed the logistics company TFL logistics. We were reassured it would come by next Friday. Again, no delivery. This repeated twice more. At this point I was ringing twice weekly. Finally by mid-September we received an e-mail from TFL logistics stating that the item had been booked in to be PICKED UP PRIOR TO DELIVERY meaning that up until this point Furniture UK had been blatantly lying to us about the fictional Friday delivery dates. Turns out Furniture UK use TFL to pick the items up from the manufacturer rather than having it in their own warehouse (if they even have one). Then began the issues with TFL; after three failed attempts to pick up the bookcase, numerous phone calls to Furniture UK and the courier, and a recorded letter stating our dissatisfaction and threats to report to Trading standards we finally got the bookcase in OCTOBER. Despite repeated requests to use a more competent courier Furniture UK stuck with TFL. I suspect the two companies may be more closely linked than the Furniture UK staff are willing to let on. Furniture UK offered us £10 as an apology for all the delays; to be honest we hold little hope of ever seeing this money and just want to put the whole saga behind us. Every time I look at the bookcase now I can't help but get angry. Realistically, service has to be truly exceptional to motivate people to spend the time to write a good review; I seriously question the authenticity of the positive reviews on this site and can't help but think they are only there to try to offset the effect of the negative reviews whose content matched my experience closely. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I also placed an order with this company after speaking to customer services who assured me the item was in stock and delivered in 5 days. After 6 weeks later of being fobbed off with lie after lie they then said my item was damaged in transit and it was the last one. I requested a refund and they agreed and then kept saying it was being processed by their accounts team when it wasn't. I am still waiting for a refund. Do not deal with this company they are totally incompetent and no sense of customer care.

I recently purchased a chester draw and wardrobe from furniture uk its been over 4weeks now and I have yet to receive my items when we call customer service they dont seem to have a clue . The crazy thing is its like they are trying to avoid you with stuff like we'll ring u back but don't we were suppose get delivery friday 12/09/14 or 13/09/14 according to customer service but haven't received a phone call or anything . Extremely poor customer and this is still an on going issue

After sending a payment to this company and then being told by them a number of weeks later that it was no longer in stock it has taken several weeks and numerous phone calls to them to try and get my money back via paypal and I'M STILL WAITING!!!. This is an appalling company to deal with. I will be reporting them to trading standards and paypal for their fraudulent activities.

Ordered six items of furniture in early-mid July stating a specific delivery week at the end of August - all items were in stock. Received email today saying that they would not be delivering when I had received written assurances that it would be dealt with and my delivery week honoured. Customer services unable to deal with the issue and not able to update on when the delivery will be made. Very frustrating.
