Ordered Bedroom furniture beginning of Feb, when placing order and paying for goods in Full were told delivery would be 5 weeks , then sent invoice stating 6-8wks ,after 9 weeks got a msg that the wrong colour had been sent and they re-ordered ( without checking with me first). and that it would be with me by the end of May. Now every time I ring and eventually speak to someone they tell me all lines are still down....after 4 weeks !! Am clearly being Fobbed off .

We ordered a sofa and two chairs in May on line and were informed delivery would be around 14th of June. To our delight our furniture arrived at the warehouse earlier than anticipated and we arranged a date for delivery 2nd of June! The recent cyber attack prevented delivery that day but after contacting the warehouse a few days later, very helpful and apologetic staff, were able to locate the order and arranged prompt delivery the next day! The delivery men were friendly and efficient and the furniture was received in perfect condition. A very happy customer! Have bought from Furniture Village before and would again.

Brought a 3 seated sofa and 1 chair we was told the waiting time for delivery would be around 3 months. Staff very friendly not pushy and sofa plus chair was delivery on time. No issues. Sofa is lovely and comfortable. Strange to see so many negative comments, however I guess most people are only willing to write negative experiences rather than any positive experiences.

I purchased a piece of bedroom furniture by phone, when it arrived(in perfect condition) it was unsuitable, so made a phone call, well 2 to be precise, and the item was picked up within days, and after a phone call regarding refund, it was done within minutes, a full refund, good customer service

Chris at the Bristol branch very helpful and friendly.Just had delivery of leather sofa & chair on time given, also delivery men job well done. Only annoyance now was being charged £30 for floor protectors in store when placing order not realising at the time, they are nothing special ,which I thought for that price .Looks the same in b & q £3-62 pkt of 8 Just checked online.

I googled something different and am seeing furniture village get a hammering on here. My family have used furniture village a lot and we have never had a bad experience. They always delivered in time and the sofas are the best we could find for the value

Really pleased with the large home corner sofa. The quality is outstanding. After seeing the sofa in store we knew it was the one we wanted. The purchase went very smoothly online and as for the delivery of the sofa, you will not get better. They keep you informed of the process of the the sofa right down to the whereabouts of the delivery vehicle on the delivery date. The delivery men were very pleasant and they had a lot of consideration for our property. The only reason why I haven’t given 5 stars is because of a very rude member of staff at the Chester store. We bought the sofa online one Sunday evening and we took our friends to the store to see the sofa the following Monday. Upon arrival she was quite pleasant offered us a coffee etc. As soon as I said we purchased it online her attitude changed dramatically. She said we shouldn’t of bought it online as nobody would help us if we had a problem and walked off huffing. I then tried to ask her a question about the sofa and she was very cocky and patronising. My friends were very shocked at her attitude. I was on two minds whether to cancel the order because if this lady. Yes she may not have had the commission but Im still a paying customer with the company and her attitude was disgusting. We seen her 9am on Monday 5th of November at the Chester branch if any of the furniture village bosses see this review. She was the only lady in there. I didn’t get her name. Apart from that I highly recommend furniture village you will not be disappointed in the service they offer. Thanks for reading. Have a nice day.

The salesman was very helpful but not pushy, and when we rang with a query about our order, he rang us straight back. We ordered a G Plan 3 piece, suite and a dining suite in the sale and the furniture arrived when expected. We had our last G Plan 3 piece suite 11 years ago from them, and are equally pleased with our new one, we hope it wears as well. (The last one was sold on at a charity store, still had life in it) The delivery men were very efficient, assembled the table and checked all was okay, instructed us how to use the expanding mechanism, and how to care for it. Our experience with them was good.

Prices are good and discounts always available. Customer service mediocre. Tried to get VAT invoices to no avail. Have to wait apparently till you’ve had the item for 8 weeks??! Seems odd. Asked again still not arrived. I made a return to the collection depot just outside Bristol. Awful woman on the phone totally uncooperative.

They have not ,we purchased a link suite in Nov had several problems one has been resolved still waiting for a answer from customer services regarding the puckering on the material which we were advised as being as hard wearing as leather ,oh no it isn’t .We paid £2,600 which included a storage stool Our son has an identical suite purchased at the same time in the blue ours is grey a totally different finish and I have noticed today that it is already showing signs of wear .Has anybody else had a problem .The after sales is appalling .🤔

Anyone else solved this problem? 3 years down the line the sliders on the chrome feet on our sofas have come off. They say this is not covered under the guarantee(is this classed as structural I don’t know?). We have purchased several different sliders but they always come off. The original ones press in don’t stick on that’s the problem. Furniture village just say they are not covered and when we ask them to source new one for us to purchase they just don’t get back to us! We have noticed similar sofas now have no sliders but smooth surfaces on the feet. It seem like a small problem but it is causing damage to the floor. The sofas are still in very good condition.

We too suffered all the delivery woes as other people on here. We had to wait 10 weeks for our “approximate 6 week delivery”. FV never contacted us about delays, we had to chase them. One morning I called for an update and was told our item would arrive in 2 weeks. That same afternoon I got a voicemail from distribution office to say item was ready for delivery! It took 2 days to get distribution to answer the phone and then I was told my item was not available. When I hit the roof they eventually did find the item and delivered it in 72 hours. Shop staff were courteous, delivery guys were great but the inbetween was poor. Shop with caution....and patience!

Ordered a 3+2 seater sofa and they made sure I paid in full promptly. Come delivery date, the guys couldnt get the 3 seater into my house, so took them back. When I called, they said the fault was mine as I should have checked the sizes would fit in through my door. Anyway, agree to pay for their sofa technician to remove segments of the 3 seater to fit it in. Second time delivery, they forget to bring in one of the parts needed to re-assemble. They also said the 2 seater couldnt go in, and they wouldn't take it back. As it had been attempted to get into my property, the sofa couldn't be sanitised to take back. So they left the 2 seater on my drive! Third time in, they deliver the missing part and the technician manages to assemble the 3 seater. Thought the reduced the price for the technician's services, the service was appalling.

Complained about the lack of support on my Rosie sofa cushions. They said they would get back to me, but never did. Absolutely pathetic

I purchased some sofas after finding the ones in store very comfortable. As soon as they were delivered they did not feel as comfortable. I thought maybe we just needed to wear them in a bit but no, they got worse over the next year. So bad that I complained and they kindly agreed to replace them, with exactly the same sofas which have again become uncomfortable so much so that you feel a bar of wood in your back. I went back in store and sat on the set that sold us and they are extremely comfortable as I had remembered. I told the person in store this when they asked if they could help, they said call customer service. I won't buy a sofa that I cannot check first as I feel stores like this put high quality versions in their stores and send you cheaply made replicas.
