The quality of a supposedly Leather suite is awful, I truly wish I could post all of the photos of the cracks and all the pieces falling off it , it looks 20 years old after 6 months, it looks great on the photo on the website but I would rather sit on my garden wall, customer service have no interest in the customer whatsoever, if you need a suite from furniture choice you can come to my house and get one for free before it goes to the tip, awful quality, awful customer service, save your self the hassle as it is much quicker to throw your money in the bin !!!! Furniture and choice Birmingham Got a settee arrived and found it was damaged, contacted these and was told I'd get a new one. Still waiting and they've now blocked my email and calls.

Be careful, Can't be trusted, no Responsibilities. I had a personal loss of £580,00 due to taking 4 days off unpaid annual leave because of 4 delivery failures of Furniture and Choice company. They did not take any responsibility for the failed delivery and agreed to give me £50,00 of goodwill. After weeks of stress because most of the items were delivered with damage and the table had no replacement, I had to return everything and they could not even honour the £50,00 they promised in the first instance. I had a terrible experience with Furniture and Choice company and would never recommend it to anyone.

bought the rochester corner unit in material last year very pleased at start looks fine then after a while the cushions callapsed leaving my disabled partner on the floor asked if something could be done about the problem were told this was not a manufactering problem and the matter was closed surely a sofa should be fit for purpose customer service was discraceful r wright

Do not buy from this company the products are very poor quality. We purchased a leather 3 piece and just after a year the leather started to fray and split and the foam in two of the seat pads had collapsed. The companies response :- it’s out of its 12 month manufacturer guarantee so we won’t look into it

Bought a two and three seater leather sofas from Furniture Choice in November 2017. They recommended taking out 5 year Stainguard 5 year warranty insurance Diamond cover at £125 upfront payment. The sofas started peeling and flaking at the end of last year. Terrible state. Stainguard (now Homeserve) refused claim. Said policy did not cover peeling and flaking of leather. Like you Adebago and Anonymous these leather sofas are rubbish. To think I paid all that money for insurance upfront and cannot claim anything. I will never buy anything from this company ever again.

NOT REAL LEATHER. I bought a sofa for a spare room and so didn’t want to spend a lot. That said, the description and order said ‘leather’. After a few months I reported quality problems only to be told it wasn’t leather. I’be reported them to advertising standards and will seek a remedy in small claims court as item not as described.

Ordered and paid for dining suite that looks beautiful on Furniture & Choice video. Manufactured in China, REALLY POOR QUALITY. Furniture & Choice didn’t advertise that the suite arrives flat-packed, massive disappointment! Damaged/scratched somewhere between China-my home. On arrival a box was open, I took photo and so did delivery boy. Neither delivery staff offered an explanation. They left in a rush. When I unpacked the suite there were 2 seat frames missing. These frames took 4 months to come to me & many emails! The chrome seats were scratched and plastic foot stops were misshaped. The marble table has circular bottom stand smaller than circular top, it isn’t weighted and topples if I/guests place ANY weight on it. The seats are quite thin compared to my previous WELL MADE dining seats and quite soon my bottom feels uncomfortable. I STRONGLY FEEL THAT YOU OUGHT NOT TO BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! There was never any offer of a refund from any staff at Furniture & Choice

Update still w8 4 collection of my table Phoned again Saturday spoke to customer services was fobbed off again only to be promised a call bk regarding collection SURPRISE SURPRISE NO PHONE CALL. I'M NOT GOING TO KEEP GOING BACK & FORTH IM SEEKING LEGAL ADVICE TUESDAY 1ST JUNE .

If I had seen these reviews, i would not have purchased anything from this company. I bought both 3-seater and 2-seater sofa from the company worth over 1000 pounds. The first 3-seater sofa leather was torn in less than 1 month. Immediately this happened, I knew the other sofa won't last. The replacement took over 6 months. The second sofa is also torn and I am not surprised. It is a shame that you spent so much on a product yet it is very superior. I will not recommend this company at all.

Hi, please don’t buy any product from furniture and choice these people cheat with customer, I bought a corner leather sofa from this company within 6 weeks the sofa be damaged & company poor customer service totally refused to fix my sofa. I request everyone, Please avoid this company

Firstly the one star is for the sofas I ordered 2 two seater “leather” recliners the colour was perfect a light grey but as soon as they were delivered I knew they weren’t actual LEATHER they were BONDED which I failed to see on the website(my fault totally) I then googled BONDED LEATHER & it said it is made primarily of ground leather fibres bonded together with a polyurethane (plastic) mixture & lasts only a few years,the sofas look CHEAP & LIKE PLASTIC(which is what they are) I rang customer service for them to be returned they sent me bags to put sofas in(a bit of a fiddle but doable) & the guys came to take them back, I did read the reviews on these sofas & I can only say that the buyers that LOVE them are deluded THEY ARE PLASTIC & LOOK LIKE PLASTIC & the price for PLASTIC SOFAS is ridiculous!! (ok maybe 10-20%leather scraps) What I will say is the CUSTOMER SERVICE were BRILLIANT! from ordering to sending back, they actually PICK UP THE PHONES without delay & I found them to be EXTREMELY HELPFUL well that was my experience & im sorry for other people who don’t share my opinion or experience, so to summerise… terrible sofas but five stars for the customer service.

Avoid buying here products atrocious, after care even worse,I will never shop or recommend this company, I need two new sofas in Less than 2 years, the company has only refund part payment after waiting more than six months for them to repair them.

THE WORST COMPANY I have ever dealt with. Waited months for a dining table and chairs to be delivered. Finally delivered damaged I had to wait a month for a replacement meanwhile all the extremely large boxes were left in my kitchen. I was advised to make up the chairs to make sure they were not damaged. Waited for replacement table which arrived damaged. Asked the company to collect as I was not prepared to wait for another damaged table to arrive. They did not collect chairs as I no longer have the boxes so now they are sending packing for me to disassemble chairs and repack for them to collect. I offered to purchase the chairs but they quoted an exorbatant price as the quality of the chairs is poor I am not prepared to pay such an amount especially given the trouble I have had. They will not consider any compensation for not being able to use my room for 5 weeks nor for the trouble of repacking etc. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I don't know how they can remain in business.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE – 0 STARS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Let me start by saying that if your purchase arrives on time and undamaged then I’m sure you would have a very good experience. However, it’s when things don’t go so smoothly that you learn who the companies that really value their customers are, and Furniture Choice have evidenced that they most definitely do not fall into this category. Having purchased a marble dining table and 6 chairs on January 5th, delivery was finally made on April 1st. Upon opening the box, one corner of the table was considerably damaged. The irony being that this corner of the box was marked “fragile corner handle with care”. That it was extensively damaged was hardly surprising given that there was no bubble wrap whatsoever, nor any form of protection in the packaging bar a couple of flimsy bits of polystyrene. I phoned up customer services, and was advised I’d be required to email photos of the damage over, which I did. I was then told that despite the fact that the damage was unequivocally visible, I’d have to take the marble table, weighing approximately 60kg out the packaging to send further photos. Oh, but it gets better, I’d then need to put it back, and repackage it in order for the delivery company to accept it, before obtaining a refund. Furthermore, I’d have to wait 8 days, until 9th April for a courier to come and collect the damaged goods, meaning for 8 days I’d have 6 large cardboard boxes taking up my dining room. The courier company also turned up outside the allotted two hour window I was given, and advised that had I not been in they wouldn’t have returned. Lucky I was in hey. Furniture Choice attempted to claim this was outside of their control, almost unaware of the fact that they pay DX to courier their products, meaning they are fully responsible. Anyway, we digress, back to the matter in hand. Having booked a day off work to await delivery of the table, unpacked and repacked my damaged table I’d waited 3 months for, and booked a second day off work to await collection of the damaged table, I’m now told that a replacement isn’t available until August. As you can imagine, having already waited 3 months, I wasn’t prepared to wait a further 4, so asked for this to be escalated. I was called back by someone purporting to be a senior director, who had the interpersonal skills of a caged lion, and to all intents and purposes said you’re getting your refund now clear off. Now while I accept that Furniture Choice have adhered to their terms and conditions, and are not in any way in breach of them, to me, a good company isn’t one that hides behind its terms and conditions, but one that wants to ensure its customer has received a good experience, one that does everything in its power to retain their custom, and provide a good after service. There was no “We’re sorry for your poor experience, what would you like us to do to put it right”, or “yes the system says we can’t get a replacement until August let me see what I can do”. Poor, very poor, and if this review persuades just one person not to give their custom to furniture choice for fear of having a similar experience, then it has done its job.

Had the most terrible service from them. Our wardrobe was delivered faulty and when delivered the guys moaned about taken it to the bedroom even though this was on the first floor and advertised as ok. When I reported it faulty I was told no problem and another would be on the way, this was scheduled twice before I received it and I was then told I couldn’t receive it due to not sharing a code on the front of the faulty wardrobe, despite this being shared. I then had four separate occasions for them to collect the faulty wardrobe - I couldn’t even lift it and there is no way it would fit in a car so I refused to dispose myself. Despite after the second time explaining I’m a key worker and struggle to stay in for deliveries (shift patterns), this went on another two times before I lost patience. The worst thing was every time I spoke to customer service I was outright lied too and promised it would be collected, this was even followed up by a call from the courier. Super unhelpful and lying customer service.

I am writing this email in response to an absolutely appalling and distressing experience I have – and am still – going through over the last 10 months. FIRST ORDER! This first started on 12th June ‘20 when my husband had ordered a Pemberton Mink Velvet Bed King Size from you. Prior to ordering, we called cust service & were given a delivery time of 2 weeks.With that info, an order was placed. We then received an email on 18th June to inform us of a delay and was now due on 30th June. It arrived on 7th July. Aside from being late, there was a bigger issue with the bed–it was not the colour we had ordered or what was advertised.‘Mink’ (which was a light shade of pink) was what it was being sold as, it was actually grey.I contacted you via email to arrange for the correct colour to be delivered.From this time onwards – 7th July 2020 – we have been sleeping on the floor. I was then responded to by Jade Wilson, who told me the bed was only available in Mink and Black and that you did not even sell a grey in this bed. I responded to her straight away with links to your website that show the grey bed (which she had told me didn’t exist) for sale, as well as the mink. After conversations, on the 15th July it was agreed that the bed was grey and a replacement would be sent. On the 22nd July, I was notified by email that the mink bed was back in stock for delivery. I received it 2 weeks later on the 3rd August. When received, I was enraged to open it to find another grey bed. I emailed to find out what was going on. The response I received from Michelle Pursell said that the item may have been incorrectly boxed.I chased again on the 3rd Aug and did not hear anything until 13th Aug after once again being forced to chase. I eventually had a response, who told me that the correct bed will be in stock on the 21st Sept. There was no recognition of being totally ignored for nearly two weeks, just a very generic robotic response. After speaking to some staff with zero common sense or empathy, I had to take the bullet and wait as I had no other choice. I then received the replacement bed on the 10th October – it was still grey.Totally exhausted by this situation, I requested a refund. I received a phone call the lady said that a delivery of packaging and collection were ‘arranged’. Nothing appeared, so on the 21st Oct I had to chase again. After more aggravation via email and telephone, they finally arranged packaging to be delivered – on the 2nd of November! The bed was finally collected on the 18th November. There was never any real explanation from anyone as to what the problem was caused by. I was bluntly told that the mink did not exist and it was either this grey bed or nothing. Now fed up, I did not delve any deeper as I was sure I would have been fed more lies, generic answers and patronizing comments over and over again. SECOND ORDER! Firstly, at this point, we have been sleeping on the floor for five months. We have been desperately looking for a bed that matched the room we had planned for – the room that was decorated around a ‘Mink’ bed that didn’t exist. After searching for a long time, we saw the same Pemberton bed, but in black, which showed as in stock and available for next day delivery. We called the office to confirm this and were told that the bed was in stock and delivery would be as advertised. Against our better judgement and in desperation, we ordered from your company once more on 7th December 2020. We had now committed to a black bed and purchased furniture accordingly. Black bedside tables, a black cabinet, black frame for a painting and most frustrating of all, we had our parquet floor sanded and reconditioned in black. The first issue was that the bed did not turn up in time. When we called the office the day after we expected the delivery, we were told that the bed was not in stock and we would have to wait until 11th January 2021 to arrange delivery. On the 8th January we received an email to say there was a delay and it was now due on the 25th January. We then called closer to the 25th January, to be told that there was a delay until mid-Feb. We then called mid-Feb, to be told it would be delivered at the end of February. We were eventually delivered the bed on Wednesday 24th February – nearly three months after we were assured it would arrive. The next issue and more importantly, to our absolute amazement, the bed is not black. It is dark blue. I now have a bed that does not match my room and am extremely out of pocket. FALSE ADVERTISING OF PRODUCTS THAT DO NOT EXIST, 5 DELIVERY DATES NOT MET, SENT THE WRONG BED ON 4 OCCASIONS, AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE.

If I could give no star I would! Avoid buying from this company at all cost. The quality of their sofa is awful. I purchase a sofa 6 months ago and the material has been bubbling. So when I made a complaint, an engineer came round to inspect and he told me that if I was use bubble remover to remove the bubbles, the material/sofa would not be sustainable. Furniture Choice then contacted me to say the warranty will not cover the sofa as the bubbles is part of the characteristics of the material and there is nothing they can do, but if I dont agree I should pay for an independent engineer to come round. So, I contacted the engineer who inspected the sofa to valid what I was told by Furniture choice since he confirmed during his inspection that the sofa will not last if I remove bubbles/ what he wrote on the report. He then told me that he does not understand why furniture choice said that because he hadn't send the report to them. How can I buy a sofa, and 6 months later the material is bubbling?? I tried to complaint to the Furniture Ombudsman and they confirm Furniture Choice is not a member, so they cant take my complaint on. People please at all cost avoid purchasing anything from furniture choice, they are a bunch of bullies, they wouldnt allow me to make a complaint and they are not regulated so they can basically get away with using below standard material for their items. I will report Furniture Choice to the trading standards! Aviod buying from this company at all cost!!!!!!!! AVOID BUYING FROM FURNITURE CHOICE AT ALL COST! Chris whom I spoke to is a bully, he hang up the phone on me when i was talking to me saying there is nothing they can do. I am out of pocket by £700. I am so upset. You will note that my review on quality and customer service is consistent with other people's experiences. Guys, please avoid buying from Furniture Choice unless you have money to waste. I have just lost £700.

I ordered the Rochester 3&2 seater sofas, customer service was really very good, but the furniture was awful, it was so uncomfortable, no depth, looked like my family were sitting on a perch!They asked me to write a review, I did, pretty much like this one, then I got a phonecall or 3, asking did I want a refund, or replacement, I asked for a refund, but days later I was told that only when I removed my review, would they refund my money. No wonder all reviews are good! Would not recommend !
