“Very disappointed with plants .The palm was tiny and should of been large.My other plants completely dead. Definitely will not use this company again .”

“Very disappointing .my first two orders arrived a little late but understood .but my 3rd order didn’t arrive.so after 5 weeks of waiting chased it up .and apparently it got cancelled without me being aware of it .no explanation So I was waiting in vane ,will not be using this company again .”

“I bought a clematis from them. With postage it was £15. It came on time but the plant looks dead . I am not sending it back at my expense because I am not prepared to loose more money. Don’t have anything to do with this company. I have complained to trading standards but I don’t expect anything will be done.”

“Appalling. I ordered a Volcano Brexillian Tree Fern advertised in a 1. litre pot. Oh no! The tiny thing arrived in a tiny pot 0.30 litre pot. It measured 3 ins tall! I sent photographs was advised it was the right size, I don't think in a large pot it would have been visible. I have had emails from 4 different people who should be ashamed to work there. Trading standards, they need to be put out of business .”

“Plant arrived okay and healthy. However packaging a lot to be desired. Could have been different story if it damaged the contents. Especially as paid £6 to have shipped. Expected it to arrive in better condition and protected.”

“So we too waited three months for the delivery of a single plant which is obviously not a good sign. We, too, had the copious ‘sorry we can’t answer because we’re too busy packing orders’ email and I almost contacted the credit card company to retrieve my princely £59.99. But out of the blue today, I arrived home to a slim box at the door, around 5ft tall and I opened it to find a beautiful cordyline inside. The plant is sturdy, well grown and looks absolutely stunning. Exactly what I wanted even though I did have to wait for it for ages. I would definitely get more from here as long as I factor in the long wait time !”

“Gardening Express has not made me happy, I have already scored them 1 given that I ordered on 19th April last as a birthday present for 10th May and on my last review the item had not been sent. However today 3rd June the order has finally arrived. A Magnolia Stellata which I expected to be DOA. How it has managed to survive I don't know, given that Hermes have had it since 27th May and it has finally arrived although a bit battered ( it looked as if it had been upside down at some point) today 3rd June. However although |I have raised their score to 3 given the condition of the plant and the Covid-19 problems, they really need to sort out their customer relations and communicate with people and answer their e-mails etc. All I can say is thank goodness our local garden centres have re-opened!”

“Hi received my plants today 2 hours ago. Been waiting since order 11 April after seeing all bad reviews was worried I wasn’t going get my plants . The plants well packaged and good condition !!! So although long wait have to say give 3 out of 5 stars .Majority plants healthy so looking forward to see them when in flower. Helen Murdoch Edinburgh.”

“Long long wait but eventually recieved communication.plants arrived today and are beautiful and healthy. Worth the wait. Slight damage due to courier turning boxes upside down but nothing that some freshair and tlc wont mend.”

“Very disappointed like everyone else happy to take your money but no customer services whatsoever have ordered from several companies during lock down and have had fantastic service so will not be using them again I placed my order on 17th April and now 20th May.........”

“Like everyone else, ordered my plants 4th April I’ve had one email to say goods would be delivered within 15 days of ordering since then nothing, tried their online ticket system to contact them but no response. Phoned by bank an hour ago & raised a dispute, the money is back in my account & they will now contact Gardening Express to get the money back from them. Great service from my bank.”
