“Absolute crooks please do not use this had it for my first car insurance now I’m stuck paying for an insurance and I can’t even drive it”

“The only reason anyone will ever complain about autosaint is because they are breaking too harshly in areas where there is no need, they are accelerating at a dangerous rate in the environment they are in and if they are breaking the speed limit by 10-20 mph. If u do an emergency stop the box recognizes it. If you go 10% over in 30 zone it won't count you as speeding. People are complaining cuz they are driving like tits”

“Please do not use this company absolutely absimal the miles were up on my car that I paid 1700 for with a box and they asked for another £600 for 2000 Extra when I’m 18 on a minimum wage job nothing is what it seems with this lot avoid at all costs”

“Cancelled my insurance after sending out two warnings for me “ braking harshly “ not taking into account the fact that how hard you brake is dependant on what’s around you. Also making me pay the remainder of the yearly insurance even though they’re not covering me?”

“I wish I could give these a zero was robbed from the start. Cancelled my insurance and told me I would not be charged anymore and have took £600 off me and can’t even cancel it!!!”

“Added my no claims in the dashboard and said upload successful, a week later I get an email saying my policy is cancelled due to no claims bonus. To renew my policy I had to pay an extra £200 because the policy wasnt even the same price. Now stuck for nearly 20 minutes just to cancel. They want over £1000 for extra miles! STAY CLEAR!”

“Tried to charge £300 for change of occupation from chef to builder and then we were contacted after being on the 12 month policy in our 3rd month. Apparently they had conducted a 60 day test, and assumed we would go over our 10k miles for the year. Therefore, demanded we paid £700 there and then during this unexpected phone call. Terrible.”

“If I could give them lower I would. I picked telematic insurance as it is supposed to give me a cheaper premium. I’ve had telematics insurance before, and I’ve had to purchase top up miles , which was around £80 for an extra 1000 miles which I thought was fair. However with these guys it’s a different story. They want to charge me over £240 just for 500 extra miles! This is simply outrageous and disgraceful, not only will I not be paying it, but as soon as my policy ends I will be damn sure to go elsewhere. I’m a student, so to be presented with this price I am both shocked and disappointed to say the least.”

“Took out insurance with them But they advised that the date was wrong within 2 minutes which was a simple mistake so asked to see what the premium would be .. shot UP to another 380 on top so decided to leave it as can get it much cheaper elsewhere.. I had already paid a £200 deposit which I expected them to just refund straight back they asked me to pay £60 and were very rude.. there was no way I was going to pay £60 for absolutely no reason .. they said I had to pay it as a cancellation fee however the insurance wasn't to start till Monday so in theory I did not have any insurance and also all insurers give a 14 day calling off period so they were talking rubbish.. took me a good few hours and a call to the ombudsmen to get anywere now just waiting for a full refund hopefully I get it as they have advised.. stay away from this company”

“7 months in they cancelled my policy when i asked them to change my post code half mile away do not use these rip of crooks they just want your money they should be investigated and prosecuted for the way they do business preying on new drivers i have a clean driving record its ilegal i will be speaking with trading standards today and may be getting summons to get them in the court room we should all stick together on this company needs to be colsed down.. robert birmingham”

“This company is absolutely AWFUL! Definitely would not recommend!!! For a start they had hidden admin fees and extra charges for when i wanted to move my policy over to my new car, which totaled near enough an extra £300, for a car that would be cheaper to insure. They didn't want to know when I had accident. On the phone they passed me through other places, such as ladybird, even though I was 100% with autosaint. Then the quoted me a renewal price, but throw on an extra £400 for an accident that I didn't officially claim for as the accident as it wasn't my fault. Now they have said it has affected my years no claims, even know I never claimed. Ridiculous! Customer service is terrible!! They have you on hold for ages and when you finally get through they say we will have to call you back tomorrow, and they don't. Overall, this company is SH*T!”

“Horrendous company DO NOT USE! Took a policy out today online and had an email to call before they would activate the insurance. 35 minutes calling no answer. Auto saints call me, I tell them to cancel the policy, the employee makes some snidey remark and hangs up on me mid sentence. Did anyone answer when I rang back? Noope.. I was unsure about taking a policy with autosaints originally, I'd only been with trusted corporate insurers previous. Took a gamble and it didn't pay off, should have stayed with well known brand. I took another policy out with a different insurer, and gladly paid the higher premium. Autosaints? Autoshit!”

“My son took out a policy and stays at his girlfriends house quite frequently he received an email saying he hadn’t disclosed her address and has charged him £340 to add her address to his policy when he lives with us We asked about cancelling the policy which he has had for 3 months and want to give us less than half his policy ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS”

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Cannot urge you enough to not use this company. The attractive price lured me in. I purchased car insurance with a black box from these guys. 1st year was fine, second year I kept getting 'Low braking score' on my black box. I was braking absolutely fine, so when I was given warnings, it actually caused my driving to be less safe as I was worried to brake whatsoever. There are also a load more reviews suggesting the black box gives accurate readings, which would not surprise me. These guys cancelled my insurance with 4 months left on the policy, after trying to reinstate it because I don't want my insurance to sky rocket due to a cancellation, they told me there was absolutely nothing they can do. I cant explain how frustrated I am, I have had a black box for almost 4 years with no issue, never had a crash, speeding ticket or anything. Now I am left with the pain of having to pay through the roof for my insurance because this careless company hands out cancellations like there is no tomorrow.”

“the customer service just does not exist, my black box score dropped right near cancellation all because ive driven 5 minutes after 11pm as i work in a kitchen that closes at 10:30 if we are all on time (very rare). The insurance was the cheapest for a reason.”

“They tried everything possible to inflate my son's premium, they also tried to take an extra £120 above contracted rate without warning or adequate explanation. I am still waiting for technical information on how they calculate "late braking" as far as I can see they don't know themselves. Stay away from this firm”

“These are a bunch of greedy people. this company is very very unfair, unethical and greedy of money. You could get charged loads of fees for every single request you make! before they finish sensibly mentioning the terms situation, they rush you into commitments for example a black box fitting appointment so on, guess what if you cant make the appointmnet or cancel it in advance you are charged a fee of 63 pounds. thats how ruthless they are, just a mere example. Absolute disgrace this company as a whole. targeting new drivers is what they are good at, and making hundreds of pounds out of their pocket, in the most unfair way. I don't mean to give hate here, but I don't want to see anyone being a victim of an unethical company like this. end of the day its hard-earned money that we stand to lose. gosh”
