Tried to contact re obtaining NCB , rang customer services , on hold for over an hour ! Read someone elses comments and rang sales number - answered within 5 minutes. Organised NCB , lady helpful , advised it would be sent within 48 hours , lets see what happens , I will update .

Policy was quite expensive probably because I'm young, customer service doesn't respond. Won't be going back as they quoted renewal higher than anywhere else although my black box rating has always been high

I have been with auto saint for 3/4 years and never had an issue with them, they fitted my telematics box no bother and have been decreasing my premium rate with each renewal, however my most recent experience they tried to TRIPLE my quote and I fear I was being taken advantage of. sorry to be leaving.

Virtually impossible to get in touch with them. They emailed my daughter to say they were going to cancel her policy in 7 days unless she contacted them about the address she was parked at. (It was during lockdown and she was staying at her boyfriends house) She tried for hours to call them and emailed them but could not get through. They have now written to say they are cancelling her policy. Their logo is 'looking out for you' lol! I don't think so!!

Cheap insurance and good for first time but the box I think is really strict / off and there's a lot of "administration fees"

My daughter took out insurance with this company nearly 2 years ago, no problems at all or with renewal, the black box was great, no problems. We spoke to them 2 times about change of vehicle, first time they advised us that Aviva might not cover the new car and cancel the policy, second conversation yesterday was an eye opener! cancelled insurance and when i queried no cover they said my daughters new car was too expensive for them to cover, chap also said if we found aviva on comparison site they would offer us a quote but because of cancellation we couldnt use them. Which is really confusing as they said aviva had cancelled when what they really meant was that Fresh had cancelled and then charged us a fee as well, then told us my daughter would lose her no claims because she cancelled! Waiting time to get through was really bad as well, Baware.

Cost was quite high but renewal was alot cheaper. They would dramaticly change my box scores due to a little event. For example if I broke hard once it would drop by 10 points. And take at least 2 weeks to get them back. Go else where.

The Sales part was quite good they were easy enough to deal with and the premiums are fair The Customer services team are under trained and unprofessional, they spend most of their time moaning about having to deal with a call and being audibly upset that the other team put a call through to them

Took out a policy with them about a month and a half ago, one with a black box, and initially it was all fine, until recently where my black box scores dipped dramatically, they have issued me a warning, and told me if I don’t improve they will cancel my policy, I have rang numerous times asking them for tips and to check the box is in not broken, but they refuse, will most likely be cancelling my policy and switching insurers

AutoSaint was the worst insurance provider. They are the cheapest when you search on Go Compare and other sites however the most unorganised and unprofessional. My mileage as it was my first car was not understood. I bought 3000 for the year and when I was called after taking out the policy online I was told this was enough when I described how much I would be travelling. I ended up cancelling my policy after 3 months and getting a new insurance policy. Ridiculous and when you call expect to be on hold for at least 20 minutes.

I wish I'd seen this on 8 Feb, as like you say, every week we are getting emails and they are phoning my son saying he needs to phone them to discuss his driving. They are moaning about him driving the same route to college or to work. Absolute joke. STAY AWAY FROM THEM

I was on the phone to customer service and I was next in queue to be answered and than all of a sundern I was 4 in queue so I have been pushed back

Recently taken out insurance for my son. You requested that both myself and my son contact you. Requested call backs, did not happen. Each occasion very long wait re telephone customer services contact - { up to 20 mins on one occasion}. Informed log wait as a result high volume of students returning to university. I believe this could be defined as a ' predicted situation' and therefore appropriate resources should be in place. Arranged black box installation on a prearranged time. Agreed and then informed of a totally different date and time for installation. Not a good start and not impressed so far!

I think there dashboard system is a scam, anything to make you feel like a bad driver! There hidden extra charges are disgusting. And they will do anything to get some extra cash out of you!!

This insurance company is a complete joke! My first year driving, I thought i'ld go with this company as it was convenient and cheap.. First mistake.. MILEAGE! I originally put down an annual mileage of 7,000 which I calculated roughly on their website, I didn't think it mattered much as my black box was only measuring the SPEED, BRACKING AND ACCELERATION.. which is wrong. As soon as I exceeded the mileage, they called me and suggested that I needed an extra 5,000 miles for a further 3 months until my policy ended, I thought this was ridiculous and suggested 4,000 MAXIMUM! For this, they charged me an extra £500, taking my insurance from £140 a month to £250 for the last couple of months. I also had to pay £130 there and then on the phone. THAT'S THE FIRST PROBLEM. SECOND- a month later, they took £430 out my bank?! They were only suppose to take the monthly agreement of £250. I immediately called up and they told me it was an ERROR? I was getting charged for direct debits which were suppose to come out, the lot.. they were so inconsiderate, even though they apologized for the mistake.. All in all, total joke. I would definitely not recommend for any young drivers.
