“Carrot is my first insurance company as I am a new driver. They have been very helpful on all live chats and as I am a new driver without any discounts/ experience I’ve managed to get the insurance for a good price and it was the cheapest on the market. I would highly recommend this insurance company.”

“Carrot smart app doesn’t work, stresses you out when it doesn’t record your journeys as then the insurance company will say your insurance is invalid. Really hard to get a hold of someone, especially through the online chat. Can’t express frustration and concern over text. Had to make contact about 8 times before someone took my app problems seriously, they tried to blame my iPhone and say it was old iOS causing the issues when it was not.”

“Carrot insurance have been great over the past year. 2 week ago my car got stolen off my drive and carrot insurance and their third party insurer Aviva were absolutely amazing through the whole process of getting it sorted. Everything was so straight forward, and i have never had any trouble with them for the year i was with them.”

“Customer service on the live chat, although around a 20 minute wait, had resolved my issues quickly once someone was available. All service advisors I spoke to were really friendly too. If it was for customer service alone I’d of given 5 stars but have given 3 due to the app. I don’t think it’s very accurate I had consecutive weeks of negative scores but I know I’m a very safe driver so this is quite frustrating as you get penalised for it.”

“The insurance is good when they give you rewards for driving. However my wingman hasn’t been working for about a month now tried to call customer services could never get through to anyone. Spoke to someone on live chat and they said my new one should arrive shortly, still waiting! However, My insurance is much cheaper with carrot.”

“When the app works, the experience is very seamless. However, sometimes the app doesn’t work or incorrectly calculates your speed/driving score. But once I have raised this with carrot insurance the issue is normally resolved very quickly”

“Carrot insurance are very good insurers and I would recommend. I wasn’t sure about using them at the start as I hadn’t heard of them before but I am glad I chose them. They was much cheaper than any other insurance companies. The better driver app works great and I have no problems using it. When I have had any questions or needed help the staff have been friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend using them”
