My wingman device hasn’t been working for a long time. I messaged about 3 weeks ago, and I was told to give it a few days and message back, I messaged back about 2 weeks ago and have had two replies just asking me if there was a green light, both messages about a week apart, and I am still waiting on a response

I’ve been with them a year and can’t wait to stop renewal ... if they even let me!! They are so terrible, I’m not someone to complain and I am a very laid back person but they have made life very difficult!! Rude, slow and patronising customer service, harass you for very small things constantly threatening to cancel your policy and offer you to pay and cancel yourself for £500 or so before they do it and just totally mess up your chances of ever getting insured again. You think you’re just getting a cheap deal... they will rip you off down the line. I really think this company needs shutting down urgently before more vulnerable young people are taken advantage of!

The pricing for my insurance is cheap compared to other insurers and for a first time driver, the weekly rewards for good driving are brilliant also.

Customer service always very helpful and very accommodating. Had a few problems with the wingman after having my baby and these were solved and followed up with a lovely bunch of flowers in the post!

Carrot are a good insurance company, I liked being able to get vouchers through good driving. The customer service is good but predominantly through online chats, which was good but can be annoying when you just want to talk through issues with an operator. Overall a good insurance company

Couldn't download app rang them and asked to have a black box instead they said I was too experienced to have a black box I only needed the app . Was put through to cancellations who said they'd charge me £75 to cancel insurance actually charged £112 for something that wasn't my fault absolute Rob dogs !! Avoid at all costs!!

Carrot Insurance is fantastic! The customer service is second to none as the online customer chat page is so simple to use and the staff there will assist you with anything at all and will continue to assist until the problem is fixed.

This insurance company is horrible, you can’t call anyone. It’s only via chat and half of the time you don’t hear anything from them. All the awards are non existent. DO NOT JOIN THEM YOU WILL REGRET IT.

The app does not work - live agents are rude and the only way you can communicate with Carrot is through live chat. All seems very dodgy. I cancelled my insurance within the 14 days period - do not be fooled by the cheap price. Worth spending a bit more for a more reputable company.

most of the time my black box is accurate with my driving but sometimes it scores me really low for nothing at all. i got a 0.1 score a few weeks ago for sitting in a traffic jam?

Where to start after signing up i installed the app and sent in photos requested a few weeks later i has a letter saying that if I dont dend in my photos my policy will be cancelled it took over 2 months to sort after this was FINNALY sorted i then cot a number of letters saying that i was not using the app although this was not true further more i then was quoted over £311 to add extra miles on to my account The only good thing i can say is that ONE of the many agent i spoke to was very helpful and sorted all of my issues but this did take 9 monthesz to sort

Staff who ended up on chat were prompt and payment system worked ok but had to try to connect a few times as was doing it while at work and took 20min+ to get response and had to cancel due to other commitments. Also not happy at high cost of changing vehicle over. Situation with paying twice in a year for a black box isn’t great, the cost seems excessive and the vehicle risk cost was also more than expected. £200 to pay when insurance ends in December not great for a young lad when trying to justify changing to a new more reliable and safer car.

Great insurance company, quick responses whenever you need them, completely understandable and fully helpful. Customer service is top notch too! no messing about, just solution instantly and sorted. Box dashboard is so easy to navigate through and understand also.

Please please do not go with this company they am a rip off will do anything to cancel the policy and take the money and the tell you easier if you cancel the policy then charge you cancellation fees and you carnt even speak to anyone it's live chat please stay away the little bit ov saving u get not worth all the hassle you have

The service is brilliant, I’ve had to cancel a policy and change vehicles and edit them and all the changes have been simple and easy to do with no problems. The online chat is best contact and the people are very helpful.
