“Saved me huge amounts on my premium vs the cheapest non-telematics policy. Had a few issues with incorrect speed limits in Carrot's database leading to unjustifiable low scores on my dashboard, but I contacted Carrot and these were resolved fairly promptly. Would recommend to a friend.”

“Can't fault Carrot! As a first time driver, finding the best and cheapest car insurance was a must! They well and truly provide this and I love the reward scheme and the fact I can check my driving score! It's a great way to ease you onto the roads. I would recommend Carrot to everybody!”

“has the insurance about 2 weeks and have had the black box for 2 days and so far its going really good, the fitting of the box was really good also their customer service was very good too. personally think the insurance is better will paying annually rather to paying monthly but other than that its great.”

“The black box is recording journeys that are not being made. You have been and changed the black box, it was ok for a few days, it is doing the same thing again. Not impressed at all as no one has been in touch to confirm they have taken off the incorrect journeys which have affected my son's scoring and money due back as well as clocking up miles he hasn't done.”

“Just what I was looking for, As a first time driver I just needed simple, easy and affordable insurance and with carrot that's exactly what I got. Not to mention I get rewarded for my driving which is a welcomed bonus. Can't fault it.”

“I love box insurance by Carrot. They control my speed and driving which is great for a first time driver like me. As soon I finished my journey I check my score. I had Carrot Insurance for nearly 2 months now, so far so good!”

“As a first time driver this insurance was the 'cheapest' for me. (Also having no previous insurance to compare it with) The idea of the box is good however it does mean that I cant actually use my car for work which is what I bought it for as I work peak hours of 9-5 and this would mean my usage is scored lowly for no reason. The speed calculation is accurate and the smoothness sometimes. However, I would like to use my car more often and not always have to worry about my score as I believe I am a sensible driver with or without the box. If for any reason the car stalls the box isn't clever enough to detect this and so it is classed as extra usage therefore a lower score. The carrot app also doesn't exist for windows phones so I cant access my profile etc. I have contacted carrot once and the customer service was fine. I think each individual should let Carrot know the places we most often go to and not penalise us for them for example a relatives house and for driving to work at core hours. The engineer did also ruin the inside of my dashboard when installing the box which I haven't brought up with them. Otherwise, the insurance is fine still a bit steep for me now however just wait and see what happens at renewal.”

“I've read a few of the reviews from other Carrot customers and I was very shocked. This is my second year of driving and due to high insurance prices I had no choice but to opt for Carrot this year and I don't regret it. In fact I wish I chose them for my first year! Not had a single problem with them, brilliant customer services and no hassle with the black box installation, they came to my work and within 30 minutes it was installed. You don't any annoying emails or warnings every two minutes with some lenience. As someone who is in there second year of driving, I would definitely recommended Carrot to any new driver.”

“Brilliant company was the cheapest I have ever had and when I had my renewal price it was as cheap as one of my family members insurance that had 10 years no claims discount would recommend”
